Prestigo Hotel - Johor Bharu

Good location

Overpriced , not providing late checkout even though we stayed for 2 nights ; The late checkout will be counted as 1 night stay which is not fair , our rooms were not cleaned or tidy up as i was told by their housekeeper that they’ll only replenish items instead of cleaning. Tv channels selection were very limited. Heater was making loud noise while showering.

no breakfast buffet...need to figure out on ur own what n where to eat but luckily around the area got few shops for breakfast..can walk around if u not in a hurry

aircond position should be much better positioned

No issues in finding food as there is several mamak stall open 24h and plenty of options

Wi-Fi password is not provided to the guest & i am to lazy to ask for the Wi-Fi.

The bed was comfortable as I suffer from backpain but had no issues with this bed. I had a good night's sleep. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The location was perfect as there were ample eateries about.

The see through bathroom wall . With young children and adults, we were not comfortable with the exposure. The window less rooms felt claustrophobic as it was small. We should have been warned. My air cond remote was faulty. I could not bring up the temperature nor switch it off. I was too sleepy to call helpdesk as it was 1am.

Not recommend

1) the sound insulation , we wake up a few times at night from neighbours talking in loud2)super Poor wifi 3)Sink is chocked but hotel didn’t realised

Bed have stain , bathtub have curly short hair, no iron.

Cleanliness

Was told last min that the water heater wasnt working. and it was the last room.

Room allocated was next to surau

Rude staff Unable to communicate simple stuff

Clean and close to many restaurants

No window for my room

The price is reasonable for the location and the condition of the room. However, the room we had had a leaking air con that was pouring water out.

During our stay, the air con started leaking and pouring from the ceiling. Informed the staff about it and was told that a technician would check on it. Came back at the end of the day and found out that the technician didn't had time to check and also the hotel was fully booked and we are unable to change rooms. It was too late, and we had to suck it up and stay another night with the air con leaking throughout the night

Comfortable mattress, ironing facilities, water kettle Nice bathroomEnough public parking space around hotelGood location, many shop lots and restaurants on walking distance. Friendly staff

Under the bed it’s not clean. The view in my room was not much. Choice of TV channels

Great location. Surroundings with F&B outlets.

Special request remark for 3 single beded for this stay. When check in time, still provide us 1 queen bed and 1 single bed.

Bed is very comfortable Toilet and bathroom are clean

Sound proofing can be improved

Location is convenient and price is affordable

The room and the property has many water leakage stain that make it looks dirty. Anad also it is too near to the mosque.

- pillows- bed

The hotel looks so old.Too pricey.Bathroom floor is dirty.I can hear the other room the whole night.

Room was super comfy. Got coffee and tea sachets. Also got mini fridge. Room quite spacious. Bathroom got water heater and big in size.

Always my place to stay. Easy and fast checkin.

I booked throug booking.com. Arrived at the hotel at 8 pm. Gave my IC. They could not find my booking. Apparently the room was not allocated. They still had the room type i requested. I asked if cheaper room is available, based on what i saw in booking earlier, but was taken up. They had a two single size bad. They allocated the room. I asked if the price is cheaper, but was told since this is a walk in price, the price will be higher. The person, told me to check with her supervisor if can get better rate. She will come in the morning. When I checked in the morning, got the same answer. A bit disappointing for someone who have made it a point to stay in this hotel for last 3 years. But, other factors will still make me to stay here in future...many positive things.

1) plenty of parking2) cleanliness 3) comfortable 4) pleasant smell

NA
