Grand Paragon Hotel Johor Bahru

Good price and location.

Problems with the card key and access to the gym that I experienced.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was big. Staff were really friendly and assisted us with baggage storage before check in time. This hotel was also in a pretty convenient location. We got the breakfast deal which I would say pretty worth it because it was a buffet with a range of food. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. We also checked out their pool and gym, and whilst we did not get the chance to use them during our short stay, it was good that we had access to such facilities. Overall a comfortable and welcoming stay.

A few of the amenities were broken when we arrived such as the aircon and the shower head. But the staff were quick to fix them and apologetic about the hassle. They clearly wanted to make us feel as comfortable as they could.

The toilet since past few visits, NEEDS to revamp or at least do something on the choking & leaking

Rooms were clean. TV, air con and amenities were working. Reception staff were efficient. Breakfast was not too bad. the gym was well equipped.

Hot water was switch off on the last day of stay. Housekeeping was not consistent with replacement of items . Its too bad the family suite was on a smoking floor.

Grand Paragon has always been my choice to of hotel inJB. Very safe hotel to stay , friendly staff as they remember u and even your vehicle number. Refurbished rooms are simply excellent. Keep up the good standard guys

Old and not very clean

This is the 2nd time staying at GPH. The 1st was 2 years ago under PPAJ. That was the love at first sight. Need i say more ?. Keep up the good work. Since JB is my home town, no doubt will be staying at GPH in the future. ??

The location is a 10-minute walk to KSL City Mall. The Night Market opens Monday night, and we happened to join the crowd. We enjoyed the stay which was pleasant and the room is quiet at night.We will be coming again when next trip

The toilet flushing needs to be careful, as we got choked one day and there was a water overflow. Luckily, the technician managed to clear it on time.

Near shopping mall

Only supply 2 bath towels. No hand towels. Box of tissue and toilet roll are left over from previous occupant.

Room is clean. Mattress is firm. But the next time, I will choose a room that is not carpeted

Toilet door not close.Not much western food

The Aircon was superb! Working well. I like it's coldness...bed was great..new mattress..still firm ..so comfortable. Pillow was perfect! Wifi was working well.

The tv channel was limited. Not much choice. Coffee tea set was limited as well. Water runs slow in the bath tub. Takes a while or else it will choke the tub.

Spacious room and comfy bed. Cleanliness is acceptable. The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating, providing a pleasant dining experience.

The fridge is not working. The toilet flush is inconvenient, requiring an uncomfortably long press to ensure everything is fully flushed.The breakfast spread is limited and lacks variety, with many items being repeated frequently.

Breakfast was decent .We stayed in a family suite with 2 bedroom.. Room was spacious and clean. Location is very close to ksl city mall

Breakfast food labelling could be improved so the guests can choose the food accordingly. Basement carpark was poorly lit and smelly so it leaves a unpleasant first impression.

A nightmare

Rooms and toilets fittings extremely run down. Air conditioning was noisy. Found cockroaches in the room. Windows not washed.

Breakfast selection was fabulous. All staff were professional, friendly, helpful. Family Suite was huge, well equipped and very comfortable.

My dad room, the bed is dirty & have some stain. My dad didn't notice. Since we just stay 1 night so it's ok

The room is big and very comfortable, its newly refurbished and its worth the money
