Good Hope Hotel

Breakfast provided. at least water heater functioning well.

I saw dead cockroach on the table. My room suddenly locked by system when I was away. Need to go to receptionist to reopen the door. Air conditioner slow function.

All the staff very friendly

Road congested. Hotel is very nice but parking have pool of water.

Cleanliness

The hotel staffs were attention to my requests especially after I informed the reception that both of us take a vegetarian diet, I saw him find the file and word down.The next morning at breakfast I just asked which items I could take from the waiter, the short moment after, the chef Lim even came out and asked my diet and asked if we liked the noodles or rice style. He cooked Very fast and soon served us and it was delicious.

The room was not properly checked to ensure items are there, like tooth brushes I need to inform reception to have them.. Items like television controlling no battery powered and sound of air conditioning. If the supervisor does a room check only if everything is good then inform the reception side that the room is ready.

Building and room too old and no renovate. It looks shabby and scary.Bed too hard.Parking is dark and smelly.

The room was spacious and clean

The PowerPoint plugs were not working and I had difficulty charging my hp. There were no toothbrushes n paste as well. The tv Chanels were not functioning well too.

Reasonable...the night staff was very good and kind

Breakfast...never refilled what was finished..guessed that there was a group trip earlier..when down at 8.45 am and many trays were empty and never refilled..

Near my family areas.

I check in early N have to pay for extra $Rm 50-$100 which it's radiculous. Lobby is great impression but no aircon it's stuffy and warm. Need to impr on this. Whereby last few days was there for 3nights.Some flexibility for return customers. Toilet bowl is too low N uncomfortable with no toiletries need to ask. Toothbrush/no hair towels and no tea /coffee sachets to compliment hotel standards. Bed mattress has sunken I hv sleep with my husband on the other single bed. Wish to stay longer but because of this we decided to check out. Bfast buffet was not tasty at all. Chefs were lousy cook. Reception was not friendly N helpful.Can do better.. Some etiquette manners. Only your security gus were and helpful.I stayed there because it's near my family area

Location n value for money

Aircond not function - its auto off n keep blinking then need to take out power card n put it back.. ive been doing it for few times otherwise no ventilation at all.. maybe u can check the aircond..tq

The air conditioning is very bad..Very very sweaty at night..2 times complain but still same

A decent hotel room with good location

The socket Don’t work at night and the toilet bowl doesn’t flush unless you open the water tank behind it, which is kind of troublesome.

Not many choices for breakfast. Location is ok.

The only facilities that has been neglected on maintenance is the swimming pool that is so murky...One of the room that I booked has air-conditioning faulty. The reception managed to changed the room which little bit OK

The location is strategic and quite close to UTM. Even though breakfast is simple but we were happy with the simple spread. Since we needed to attend my sister's graduation early in the morning, the breakfast was a life saver. Room & toilet were clean. For one or 2 night stay, this hotel is acceptable and staffs were helpful.

1) our toilet shower head was leaking non stopped despite us closing it properly. 2) our room was facing the main road and the noise was unbearable. Even at 2-4am there were still noise pollution from the main road ?
