Toraja Misiliana Hotel

Good property with an excellent and large number of plants. The Toraja architecture is interesting to see

One of the owners met us during breakfast. Talking too much religion...

Honestly the architecture, the grounds were really nice and the swimming pool, it all looks lovely.

The place is old and the rooms could do with a modern touch. The hot water is on limited supply so don’t try run a bath. The bath didn’t have a plug that would fit and the bath taps don’t work.

Big spacious room. Decent breakfast. Displayed the culture of the region. Fantastic to see examples of local traditional houses in the garden. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

My room was a little shabby - needed to be redecorated.

One of the staff forced me to pay using one bank account while in the information there arw other bank accounts too.

Nothing at all to be honest, however the breakfast options were quite decent

Extremely old and dirty place, towels were grey, no privacy at all in the room, can hear all the conversation of the other villas. Restaurant a total fail, uninterested staff- tables not cleared, gave us a drink pick up chart instead of a drink menu, all the western vegetarian options were not available, 20Minutes after ordering, the staff member came to inform that pizza was not available ( even tho it was advertised on the main menu board at the entrance on the restaurant) at check in the staff were chit chatting and uninterested in our presence. Only the bellman tried his utmost to assist us. Horribly maintained and managed hotel, stay away.

Everything. Most beautiful hotel in Toraja. Quiet. Breakfast was good. The hotel owner is super friendly! Loved it so much.

Conveniently located in Rantepao, and a good base for your local tours. It was clean and had a pool for cooling off and restaurants on site. The property was very pretty! A good option if you are looking for more than just the basic accommodations elsewhere in the region. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location and surroundings. Food in the restaurant tasted good, but a shame about the poor service.

Restaurant service abysmally slow - even when there were just four of us in the place. Definitely more staff needed. Room was very hot even with air conditioning, but thankfully we borrowed a fan and this helped.

Great staff, very helpful. Perfect location, great installations. Very good and cheap massage in the hotel.

Old toilet installations

The hotel is pretty and we’ll keep on the outside areas.

The rooms are old .The food on the buffet is not good.Old mattress you can fell the springs in your back.You can heard next door rooms noise because they have a door that connects them .Old furniture and cheap

Everything was really pleasant unless that someone from the cleaning team stole my Airpods.

Someone from the cleaning team stole my Apple Airpods from my room. I managed to find them through the app location and I explained to the reception desk team that helped me to recover the Airpods and the guy (he was temporary worker) was fired.

The location is easy to be reached by bus.

The shower in the bathroom is not working properly. The water was running down so little. Also, the hot water was very dominant when I took the shower. There is no cold water.

Pool area.

The landscape of the hotel surrounded by traditional houses; good breakfast; friendly staff. Important: the hotel is located at the main road. This is very convenient since the bus from makassar can drop you or pick you up right in front of the hotel

WiFi was very weak and slow. The room and specially the bathroom are kind of old and need renovation.
