Everything except for the lounge which was disappointed.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the ocean from my room. Waking up to the sight of the waves stretching out to the horizon was incredibly peaceful and added a sense of relaxation to my entire experience.
the room was well-appointed; it had nice furniture, & beautiful, clean new carpet. The room provided excellent bathroom products, shampoo and lotion, and extras like slippers, a loofah , & bath salts & Nespresso machine. Oh and the gym was top-notch!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and last but not least, great location. Nice and relaxing by the beach in the morning. Love the buzzing nights the next block. Lots of eateries and love the market.
Everything!! The location!!! Literally across from the haeundae beach and right by the street of shops and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel and modern interior of the rooms. Really enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna!!

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Korea! The rooms are extremely nice and the location was perfect.
Room was very spacious, very clean, and quite nice. Breakfast had both Korean and western options. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The location was easy to get to and great for exploring the Seomyeon area of Busan.

Asti Hotel was a convenient location to Busan Station. The hotel was clean and spacious and the hotel front desk was very courteous and friendly. We appreciated how they accommodated holding our luggage so we were able to sightsee during the day.

The location was excellent, especially for the price. I was also pleasantly surprised with an ocean view balcony (with an economy room)! Also, the staff was very helpful in showing me how to navigate the elevator with my key card. They spoke good English.
Location and that we were able to bring our dog
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Employee from Belgium (tourism intern) gave us lots of recommendations to visit too

clean. great location lots of restaurant nearby and easy to get taxia
The hotel is unique. Very different from what one would think from the outside. I would call it elegant. Very beautifully decorated. We loved the uniqueness of it. We were astonished at how everything was auto controlled; even the door auto locked.

Top Tips
- Reserve hotels 6-12 weeks before the Busan International Film Festival (mid-October). Rates rise sharply as Nampo and BIFF Square fill first. Confirm booking flexibility, as event periods may carry stricter cancellation policies.
- Book Haeundae Beach hotels 3-6 weeks in advance for July-August weekends and at least 4 weeks ahead for holidays like Chuseok, as many beachfront properties limit last-minute options. Early planning secures access to sea-view rooms and valued amenities such as pools and kids’ clubs.
- Explore Seomyeon for hotels averaging 15-25% less than beachfront Haeundae. You will have direct subway access to Nampo and Haeundae in 20-30 minutes, and many chains in Seomyeon offer business centers and flexible workspaces.
- Travel from Gimhae Airport to Haeundae takes 40-60 minutes by public transit or 30-50 minutes by taxi (30,000-50,000 KRW, $22-$37). Taxis can accommodate families and travelers with luggage. Request a receipt for expense tracking.
- Seoul-Busan KTX trains take around 2 hours 40 minutes, with fares between 59,800-83,000 KRW ($44-$62) per trip. Purchase advance tickets to secure a seat and reduce last-minute fare risk during busy seasons.
- Standard hotel check-in is at 15:00, with check-out between 11:00-12:00. Early check-in or late check-out typically costs 10,000-30,000 KRW ($7-$22); top chains may offer flexibility for loyalty status. Verify your benefits in advance.
- Credit cards are widely accepted at hotels and chain restaurants. Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at payment and use major bank ATMs (KB, KEB, Hana) to withdraw KRW for better exchange rates.
- Install the KakaoTaxi app and store your hotel name and address in Korean for reliable pickups and accurate fare estimates. This supports smooth travel at stations and airports where English signage may be limited.
- Confirm elevator or ramp access when booking guesthouses and hanok-style stays, especially in Nampo or Gamcheon, as many are 3-4 story walk-ups. Accessible rooms may be limited; call ahead to verify step-free access if needed.
- Busan’s tap water is safe for drinking and bottle refills. Hotels use 220V/60Hz power (Type C/F plugs) - bring an adapter if your devices require one. Many top hotels offer adapters or loaners at the front desk.
