This is an extremely noisy hotel, unfortunately one of the noisiest I have experienced for this category. The property is located between a very busy road and a river. On the road side, traffic noise is constant and overwhelming. On the river side, there are frequent evening parties with loud music, as well as early-morning yoga sessions with amplified sound. There is simply no quiet side of the hotel. Earplugs are absolutely necessary, regardless of room location.Given the hotel’s positioning and price point, this was a major disappointment. The restaurant is highly rated online, including on TripAdvisor, but in reality it is average at best and very expensive for what is offered.I have been traveling to Vietnam for over 40 years and have stayed in all categories of accommodation. This review is not meant to criticize unfairly, but to give an honest assessment. For a hotel of this level, the lack of peace and quiet was unacceptable and far from what we expected.

Hotel tries to rip you off with taxi abs tour costs ( 2x and more what you get outside?

Very nice room and super friendly staff. Dinner was very good.

We had a great stay. Sadly only for one night because we were getting a boat to Cambodia but the hotel took us back in time (although it isn't actually as old as it is designed to look,) the staff were great and the view from the top floor suite was amazing and the price couldn't be beat.

The view of the river was wonderful and the breakfast buffet was decent.

Unfortunately, it was overpriced for what you get. It wasn’t outstanding by local or international standards.

The location was perfect at the junction of 2 rivers and our balcony was perfectly positioned to take advantage of it. The pool was very welcome after a day hiking Sam mountain and all the staff were a joy and went above and beyond to help.

The bar lacked a little atmosphere and the food was good but not outstanding.

This is a lovely period style hotel with great amenities and very central. We stayed as it is close to the boat for our transfer to Cambodia. We especially loved treating ourselves to a cocktail on the terrace!

All the staff were friendly and helpful, ours room was facing the river and in the morning was nice to see the sunrise ? on the room balcony!!

Airy open ground floor has a colonial border town vibe, a lot nicer than we were expecting and good for a night on the way to take the boat to Phnomn Penn next morning. The terrace / river view is atmospheric.Staff were lovely, and we agreed that the spring rolls here were the best of our entire trip.

Not sure I’d come for a holiday, but for passing through it’s great, and the food was good.

Beautiful old hotel, situated smack bang in the center of town on a cofluence of the Mekong which extended an incredible vista. Great restaurant, great service.

Room was a little small and stuffy at night, balcony was unusable due to mosquitos swarms off the river.

Price was quite high not many staff available during the day bar closed at 9pm

The people were very friendly. Very good food and great excursions nearby.

A bit noisy early morning

A lovely elegant old property in an excellent position on the riverfront . Staff were very proffessional and helpful. Extremely handy for the speedboat into Cambodia.

The location was perfect for us. We were catching the boat to Cambodia in the morning and the dock is at the hotel. The view from the room was stunning - straight up the river! Beautiful outdoor area at river.Superb breakfast with many choices in a buffet style.Helpful signage in the rooms, namely that the topical climate means mosquitos, however, we were not bothered by them.
