The Paramount Hotel Sibu

The location is good. Only a few minutes drive to reach the tourist attractions in Sibu town.

Parking lots in front of the hotel are quite limited.

Overll the location is great so is the parking space.Plenty.

Hotel getting old.Need to upgrade.Inside room you press down the button to flash toilet and it wont come up.Need to repressNo hand towel to wipe hands.Only provide bath towel only.

The family room is good for the price comfortable enough for the 4 of us.

Don't check in here if you have your own car as the hotel don't provide hotel parking for you. The parking in the hotel is Public parking needing to buy parking coupon. The hotel don't sell the parking coupon the reception only tell you where to buy it which almost impossible to find being a foreigner. In another word "good luck" finding it. I wish the Hotel would have keep some coupon which we are willing to buy from them rather we have to hunt the whole of Sibu looking for it. So remember that if you want to stay there with your car... look for coupon first. No help for them.

The car parking is limited for the hotel guests especially if there are some event in the hotel.

House keeping staff are friendly & provide good service. Room are clean.

We arrive when it was raining heavily and none of the staff at that time came to assist us to unload our luggage. Worst is they just look at my wife getting the trolley and push it in as I have to park my car. There is no parking for hotel guests and I have my car summon for 3 consecutive days. The worst is that the front office never advice me about this on the day we check-in.

The hotel is located in a nice area and alot of parking places. The receptionists are very welcoming

Great room.. big enough for family

Its quite shitty with booking.com compare to walk in. We were denied for breakfast eventhough we paid more than those walk in. We book early so that you guys could lock early customer but you make us to pay extra.

Near to halal restaurant. Lot of parking. Road not to busy and quiet.

Shower walls have black mould - very unsightly and not hygienic. Easy to remove using "exit mould" or chorox.Aircon cannot be adjusted.

Just one night stay for business trip. Not able to enjoy the facilities. Room ok but maybe need some upgrade.

All are comfy and good. Utilities are great. Clean n comfortable. Friendly staff, very nice and helpful housekeeping.

Parking is a little bit hard to get especially when there's an event going on at Dataran. Other than that, all are good.

Unlike other hotels we've stayed at, which usually have water dispensers on each floor for guests to conveniently get hot or cold water, the Paramount Hotel didn't offer this service. Consequently, my partner had to frequently ask the kitchen staff for hot water. Since our room didn't have utensils like spoons, forks, or chopsticks, we also had to borrow these from the restaurant staff when we brought food back to our room. They were always more than happy to assist us. I was pleasantly surprised by the passion and kindness of the restaurant staff.Additionally, I was quite impressed with the housekeeping efficiency. Although the housekeeper was a young boy, he cleaned our room very thoroughly.

What is not satisfactory is that why such a large hotel doesn't provide exclusive car parking for hotel customers. This is very unreasonable. Currently, many hotels, large or small, include this service. Even if there are only one or two parking spaces on a first come, first served basis, it's better than not providing at all.Furthermore, when booking, the information indicated a river view. We stayed on the sixth floor. How could there be a river view? There was only a ditch view.Also, the male staff with glasses at the front desk, I hope you could smile more instead of having a sullen look. Your job is of a service nature, not to have an extremely unfriendly attitude when speaking. We specially came from Penang to Sibu for a tour. The flight back to KL on the 23rd was rescheduled to late at night for some reasons. I just requested that we be given an extension until 1 pm to check out, but you insisted that we must check out and leave before 12 pm. It was also you who told us that your hotel doesn't provide hotel car parking. This was one of the unpleasant blemishes during this trip for us.

The location to places of interest especially for food.

My room was dirty. Toilet not flushed, cups and spoons not cleaned, bathtub was dirty, bathroom floor got lots of hair.

Clean and comfortable

Price included breakfast in the app. When arrive they say its not included.

The beds are good and big, the pillows are comfortable

The food needs to be improved better for the room service
