Restaurant terrace is pleasant

Our bungalow was in an awful location, in the so-called garden, despite booking a sea view. Having checked some other reviews this is not uncommon behaviour at this resort. The “garden” is in fact an area of dusty stony ground with some tiny bushes and a few other spindly plants. Its a steep walk up from the beach. There's also no shade in the garden and its insufficient on your balcony so there’s nowhere to escape the midday sun. See pics of Left, right and side "views" from our "sea view" room plus a general view of the "garden".Worst of all, the owner is unscrupulous and behaves appallingly.We challenged her about our room and quite reasonably suggested she either move us to the sea view room we had booked and paid for in 2 or 3 days maximum or she gives us a refund so that we may take a sea view room elsewhere. We had a heated argument and constructive discussion was point blank refused, instead referring us to booking.com even though it isnt their contractual responsibility, it is the resort's. We decided to leave in the morning as we didnt fly half way round the world to look at a patch of stony ground instead of the sea for 2 weeks.Later that day, the owner came to our room behaving aggressively with four men and said she had money and she would go to the immigration police in Ranong and get them to make trouble for us. She continued making threats via the booking app after we had left.The bottom line is she ruined our holiday and we are owed over 20,000 baht. Booking.com wont do anything other than nicely ask the resort if they would refund us and despite stating they agree entirely with our position, they remain in bed with this and other unscrupulous operators and allow them to continue to use booking.comAlso:Average food, 3x the cost of the next resort up the beach where the food is much betterThere was a faint smell of burning plastic in the evening.Wifi is useless

The room is cute and the location is great. Our room is next to the beach.

It’s quite overpriced and the staff didn’t communicate in either English or Thai well.

Super nice staff. Quick response to repairing broken item in bungalow: bathroom panel, face plate on front step. Very decent food. Great bay. Wonderful atmosphere and art scene for families with kids - so much so that those of us without (kids, that is) had nothing to complain about.

Several of the hired staff smoke constantly. They sit at a table at the entrance to the resort, a tight space, and fill the air with cigarette smoke; we even found three sitting on our stoop one evening, seemingly having their own private smoke and drink party. ? Not cool.

Staff were very friendly, the place was very clean. The free drop off at the pier was a bonus.

the location is fantastic, the property itself is fantastic for families with children , less for couples that are looking to have some quiet time or listen to their music, the beachfront rooms are absolutely few meters from entering the amazing Andaman Sea, the crew is doing their best to help you. Ryan the assistant manager is amazing and can help you with whatever you need. the internet was very poor in the rooms and not always available in the restaurant. the food was in general good I fell in love with the Burmese salad. even it wasn't always quiet, I succeeded in finishing a script I wrote

the poor internet connection, the cover of the blanket was from a sort of lycra which was not so pleasant. I told them about it, though they could not change it as they did not have other covers, so they gave us another sheet to separate the blanket cover and our body, There are many other resorts nearby with very nice restaurants as well.

Good location

The walls in the bathroom was partly open to the outdoors, which resulted in bugs. It would had helped with a net:-)

We hired a bike and the seat was broken and we returned it and they wanted to charge us for it.

Locations was great.

It's a very nice location at Buffalo Bay (Ao Khao Kwai) and due to hot season we opted for an air conditioned bungalow with two bedrooms. The people working there were very friendly and supportive.

Only one bedroom has AC and you need to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the bathroom which could wake up somebody sleeping there. The beach is very nice for splashing at high tide but rocky at low tide.

I booked with aircon. When I arrived they ask me to pay 800thb additional per night for aircon. Either they're not organised or it's a scam, i was really disappointed. Also the staff cannot speak english and they're not present to help etc. First thing they ask me when I arrived was to pay. The hospitality wasn't good.

Great location, very friendly staff trying to help out with just everything and good food.

The wi-fi wasn't great, but then again, we were there to escape all that anyway.

Location is nice and peacefull right on the beach. Beautifull way to wake up. Also staff is very friendly and nice. Price wise also nice price for the quality they deliver.

No WiFi and outdoor shower is amazing and well maintained. The rest of the room a little outdated.

We arrived at Heaven Beach resort, after a long journey from Chiang Mai, to be met by smiling , happy faces.The resort itself is situated on buffalo Beach, which is the quietess of the two beaches and somewhat sheltered than Long Beach.It's perfect for couples and families.We arrived in what would be considered high season, but you would not think so, and you can find your quiet spot with hardly anyone around you.The beach itself is pure, beautiful white sand. That's still retains some beach, even at high tide.at this location, not every resort does)5 steps from our bungalow to the beach was AMAZING!!The bungalow we stayed in had a double bed with a brand new soft mattress plus a single bed.Some of the bungalows have two rooms, one with a double and a king-size bed, also a fridge, plenty of hanging room and storage.The bathroom is a good size and has two sinks!! ( great ?)The staff have been truly amazing, especially Shinee and Mr. So took fantastic care of us.Food at the resort is excellent, and in my opinion, the best on this beach.But close by are other resorts with other menus, if wanted.This resort has everything you need for a great stay.Good road into resort ( if you're driving scooters. Staff that speak great English and knowledgeable on everything that makes your stay on the island enjoyable and memorable.My partner had his 60th birthday whist out here, Wan ( the owner went our of her way to help me organise a surprise magical day for him, which started with a private boat trip, where she dresses the boat up with flowers, balloons, birthday cake, fishing and snokelling gear. And lovely food. With a hilarious skipper, who made our trip!!! All of this completely bowled him away... that was not the end of it.On my request, she'd also arranged a secret private candlelight dinner on the beach with a bbq and even managed to get some steak imported from the mainland.We have been blown away by the people and the location...

Amazing staff very friendly and helpful. The room had a kettle, fridge, water as well as tea and coffee. The room was also quite spacious. Love buffalo bay I have visited this island many times. The food served at the restaurant is also delicious.

Considering this is only a fan room I think it was over priced

Wonderful location, large family villas.The staff really makes a difference: always smiling, always available, always trying to fulfill every client's needs.

Nice and clean bungalow at beachfront. Cute and cozy room and I'm so happy that they have hot shower in the bathroom.

Amazing for couples, honeymooner and who ever that is not looking for a arty-place. It's exceptionally beautiful and everything is in walking distance . We loved it . We were 2 friends traveling . we shared a bungalow and it was amazing
