Our butler Siham was absolutely amazing! She made our stay at Kihavah truly special. Despite handling multiple guests, she was always quick to respond, attentive to our needs, and kept us updated with activities. Our stay at Anantara Kihavah was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a world of unparalleled beauty and hospitality.The natural surroundings are simply breathtaking – the vibrant colors of the ocean, the pristine white sand beaches, and the lush greenery create a true paradise. The house reef is a marvel in itself, offering some of the most stunning underwater experiences we’ve ever had.The culinary experience was equally outstanding. Each meal was a journey of flavors, with exquisite attention to detail and a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.We would like to extend our special thanks to Zidane. He was always there to assist us, resolving any questions or concerns with remarkable speed and care. His help in organizing our program deserves particular recognition – everything was planned so perfectly and tailored to our preferences that every day felt like pure joy.What truly sets Anantara Kihavah apart, however, is the impeccable service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable.This was more than a vacation – it was a dream come true. All the facilities were great and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our villa host, Jambe, was so accommodating to everything we needed and he was a big reason our stay was so good.

The transit wait times and routes with the seaplane is the only bad thing I could comment on.

Staying at Anantara Kihavah for our honeymoon exceeded all our expectations,and our holiday on the beautiful island was truly magical! We were greeted onto the island by bongo’s,the staff welcoming us on the pier and serving us fresh coconut water before our lovely villa host,Harnie drove us on a buggy through the lush island plantations to our incredible, newly renovated,spacious and private over water villa,which offered full sea and beach view,and from where we enjoyed complete tranquility. The staff was impeccable! They always went out of their way to make each of our experiences memorable and personalized,remembering our names,surprising us with honeymoon cake, champagne and decorations and always offering us our preferred drinks for breakfast and dinner. Every night, we were taken on an amazing culinary journey at one of the five incredible restaurants,that offer cuisines from around the world and each in a beautiful setting,overlooking the water. Our favorite restaurants were “spice” and “sea” - Sea is the under water restaurant, from where we were taken on a gastronomic journey of a five course meal, six meters under water,experiencing the “message in a bottle” immersive dinner whilst marveling at the sharks, stingrays and more fish than you can imagine, peacefully swim around us in unison. The amazing execute chef,Joachim prepared our dessert on the table,like a masterpiece too beautiful to eat,and he was always present at the restaurants, ensuring guests were enjoying their outstanding meals. Another “wauw” experience was the snorkeling, which we thoroughly enjoyed and we were so impressed by the abundance of marine creatures and sea life, swimming around, just feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean. It felt so calm under the water,and as though the fish were inviting us to join them in their underwater World. Anantara Kihavah is truly one of the BEST resorts we have ever stayed at and we loved every moment of this unforgettable honeymoon.

We waited at the outdoor lobby area for nearly an hour, awaiting the speedboat and seaplane for departure. It was extremely hot and it would have been nice with a cold towel and a glass of water. Alternatively check out could be completed in the villa, for the guests comfort. This is the only constructive criticism as everything else was perfection.Thank you to all the Anantara Kihavah staff for making our honeymoon unforgettable and magical. It truly felt like a dream, on this beautiful island.

Clean and kids friendly, nice restaurants

The manager sam, the night before flight said either upgrade or pay more because one extra infant in room he said because safety but okay to stay same room if pay 200 per night. It’s not one night it was 7 days. It let me feel just about money not safety. In that time i don’t have option to cancel as my flight after 12 hours. My concern about his way of discussion. I think in his potion shouldbe someone knows how to welcoming the guess. Otherwise all other staff were perfect.

We picked this resort for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Clear turquoise water, beautiful water villa, great facilities and very good restaurants ( absolutely loved the Asian restaurant ). Everything was perfect and our host villa helped us with everything that we needed. It was truly a dream!

Resort is exclent . Staff is well trained. Food is good.Male Airport lounge is clean and nice.They don't have USB port phone charger outlates.Only didn't like transfers from Male to resort.

Didn't like seaplane

Amazing villa over the water ! The service was extraordinary and I’d like to mention a few names: Maria, our hostess, was amazing taking care of every single detail for us; Bandula, the hotel manager, was extremely nice with us offering a lunch in the underwater restaurant; and last but not the least the Cooking chef who kindly shared with me a very good gluten-free recipe of pizza ….

Difficult to find something ….

Everything was magnificent. Rooms were cleaned two times a day. Staff were very friendly. Dining was very good. Facilities were top class. Special shout to Maher, our butler, for his dedication and help as well as Waheed for the cleanliness of the room.

Everything from the villa, the view and the staff everything was perfect .. our butler Maher was exceptional and made sure everything was taken care of from the minute we arrived till the moment we left.

Maybe, the only issue we had was kids club experience. The staff is friendly, but did not do any efforts to solve the little issues between kids and finally my son did not want to come there anymore.

loved everything about the property ! had a great time overall….excellent food across all the restaurants, great dive centre facilities, big enough an island to walk around till exhausted, STAFF is exceptional & helpful

Was a surprise getaway for my wife’s birthday, despite discussing this several times before reaching the resort & even when there, hardly anything was done to make the bday special - not a single card, a very mediocre cake, small bottle of champagne from the resort ! had I known better I would’ve carried my own decor & party pops…..

*They keep running out of coconuts ? only had one coconut upon arrival rest of my stay they didnt have any.*The walkway got no slope And with the rain theres no way of walking because the walk ways are full of water.*Water villas are beautiful, but very very noisy you can feel every wave hitting the villa (might be only because of the cyclone nearby). The beach villa on the other hand is wonderful.

Everything went well, so well that we stayed an extra week and decided to renew our vows there as well. The place is magical, the staff is incredible, and the service is the best we have ever experienced.
