Purple Palms Resort & Spa Coorg, a member of Radisson Individuals Premier

I had a very disappointing experience at this resort. I arrived around 1 AM and requested a standard room at the reception, only to be told that none were available for check-in. However, as soon as I booked the same room online via Booking.com, the staff suddenly confirmed availability and allowed me to check in. This is not only unprofessional but also misleading, especially when you’ve just traveled a long distance and are exhausted.The service continued to disappoint. As I was getting ready the next morning, I requested to have my clothes pressed. The reception informed me that laundry services were unavailable at the moment. When I asked for an iron and ironing board to do it myself, they refused again, saying they had none available. Denying even the most basic amenity like an iron board reflects very poorly on the quality of service expected from a resort.This experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Basic customer service, transparency, and essential amenities should not be too much to ask for. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both their hospitality and guest support standards.

Our family vacation at Purple palm resorts was highly disappointing. Management was inflexible, refusing a two-hour late checkout for our room despite having a 5-month-old baby and low hotel occupancy. The Wi-Fi speed was abysmal, worse than a budget hostel. Furthermore, the resort's location is not good; it's not in Coorg but in a lower town, lacking mountainous views for which mostly ppl go to Coorg.

The food is quite expensive. If the food rates are reduced it would have been a great stay. Hotel should try considering it.

The breakfast had good range and the open air seats were so good.The ambience and greenery around the property was super. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Some more variety in the types of bread. Snooker could have been provided free of cost.

The culinary expertise showcased in each dish was impressive. What truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service. The warm hospitality of the staff and their smiling faces added a personal touch, making us feel welcomed and valued.

Since the breakfast buffet was exceptional, we would have loved if there was a dinner/lunch buffet as well

The resort is beautiful and very well maintained and rooms are good and spacious. Lots of greenery, well planned layout and facilities. The facilities provided by the resort such as the parking area, swimming pool, open area, and the kids play area were very well maintained and due to Christmas and New year week the resort was very well lit and decoratedThe ala-carte lunch was good and the breakfast buffet was decent considering the premium price point. The dinner buffet was a complete let down and I would not recommend going for a dinner buffet. The room service was good and they serve baby food and milk twice complimentary. For us, dinner was a major let down, breakfast was decent enough but apart from food, the staff and facilities were good.

The dinner buffet service was way below par and is not expected at such a premium price point. The dinner buffet counter was mostly empty and was not at all refilled. We came around 8:30 PM and to a surprise salad section was mostly empty with no refill service. The food was cold and not up to the mark. Only soup was good. The service staff was also non responsive and required escalation to the restaurant manager and even then the service was not up to the mark. We tried reaching out thrice for a glass of hot water but to no avail and had to escalate for basic services and food. My kids like noodles and pastas and both the options were there in the buffet but with no taste. We escalated to the manager and the noodles were prepared and provided separately but again those were not edible and loaded with red chillis and after such a service experience, we decided to leave. If you are looking for coffee, levista cafe is nearby which has much better options and for food, kaveri nisargdham nearby has multiple options. For us, considering the price point and the quality of food, overall the place is not worth it. It is good for families with kids if staying in a resort to enjoy facilities but avoid buffet service

1) Cleanliness, hygiene, ambience was too good. Facilities are excellent! 2) Silence is a positive point.3) Umbrella facility.

1) Cupboard is not provided in room for keeping clothes and items. 2) Lighting should be much more bright in room as well as in certain locations of the resort including around the swimming area.It is too dim & dark.3) Free pick up and drop facility should be provided from Manglore airport.

The location is strategic as most of the tourist places are easily reachable. Staff is very friendly and prompt to service. Hotel is clean with lots of playing activity. Well maintained swimming pool.

The rooms were super spacious, the extra beds we requested were ready in no time and the swimming pool was clean and lovely.The breakfast spread was also good.

The entire breakfast spread was not ready at 7:30 am which they informed was the breakfast start time. It still wasn't ready by the time we finished having our breakfast with available spread. This needs tk be improved upon for guests who would like an early checko

The resort is beautiful! It's secluded yet just on the highway. The spa is a must try. Food is delicious and staff is very well behaved and friendly.
