Beautiful and well maintained resort within a working coffee plantation, excellent food, friendly and responsive staff, excellent local naturalists and guides, and a spacious and well appointed heritage room with privacy.

We had a lovely stay at Evolve Back, Coorg. The property is beautiful, calm, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious.Special mention to Neetu and Ebrahim for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made our stay truly memorable.Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return.

More indoor activities or evening entertainment options would be a nice addition.

Beautiful location with a calm atmosphere. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. A special thanks to Bhavya for showing us around and making us feel comfortable, and to Gopal for the plantation walk, which was very informative and enjoyable. The food provided in the restaurants was also very good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly appreciated the service and hospitality.

The living room and bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor not much privacy for the pool in our villa

The property is nestled within a breathtaking 30o acres coffee plantation. Surrounded by trees, birds, and countless other living beings, it offers an experience where you feel connected to nature in the most intimate way.The staff are warm, friendly, and truly exceptional hosts. They consistently prioritise your comfort and overall experience. The housekeeping team keeps the rooms impeccably clean, maintaining them to the highest standard every day.We were guided to thoughtful experiences such as spa sessions, a plantation drive and lovely souvenirs which made the trip feel like one big memorable holiday.We had an excellent and unforgettable stay.

Excellent bungalows, very clean, and pristine forest and plantation surroundings. Most memorable is the staff and how we were treated - simply outstanding and helpful.

Fabulous location within 300-acre coffee plantation.Lots of interesting activities such as coffee tasting, nature walks and a nearby elephant sanctuary where we fed and helped wash the elephants.Extremely helpful staff, the Peppercorn Restaurant by the lake and the best coffee.

The swimming pools were both too warm and not really shaped for swimming. Very limited gym, with no weights.

The immense free space and surrounded by 35 acres of nature. The amazingly hospitality from the staff from arrival to departure.

Nothing it was perfect

The food was exquisite, the hospitality was on point, the resort was gorgeous! The rooms were immaculate, housekeeping was very caring. What more could one ask for?

The duration of my stay at evolve back Coorg . Could have spent a few more days.

Attention of the staff...kudos especially to neetu at the guest relations,vino at the restaurant,nitin the forest experience officer.they all went out of their way make us comfortable.The food was also very good.

Big place, lots to explore, but not up to the mark.

Didn’t feel like a 5 star facility, the food was ok and not as well made / presented specially at the Granary restaurant, almost had a 2-3 star hotel vibe at best. In room dining also, the food was sent in shabby boxes dinged up, felt like some government guest house. Too expensive for the kind of experience.Their Gym is also quite poorly maintained with minimal equipment, the children play area for toddlers had old and spoilt furniture. The lounge chairs in our room were full of black mouldy stuff all over it and one would be scared to even touch it. The lotus/Lilly pond in the room was absolutely filthy with lots of dead leaves and dirt and 0 flowers! The furniture in the room, specially the bed, was quite old and wobbly with a very poorly constructed headboard.

Pool villa, Food, Facilities

The place was great, we got the heritage pool villa, it was nice, until we left the rooms. The dining spots are crowded, and the food is average. If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this is not the place unless you decide to stay in your villa (which is also great cos there's a private pool). It seems to be more of a family place otherwise cos there were wayyyyyy too many noisy children. Otherwise all good, Jaseela was the one who helped us with everything at the property and she was just amazing.

Evolve Back is nestled within a 55-acre expanse of lush green forest with towering trees and coffee plantation far far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by the soothing and relaxing sights and sounds of nature. Our stay at the Heritage heated pool villa, spanning an impressive total area of 409 square meters, was a truly unforgettable experience offering a harmonious blend of comfort, luxury and history. Every corner of the villa gave out a sense of grandeur and sophistication.Exploring the expansive grounds is a delightful adventure in itself. Early morning bird watching and leisurely strolls brings in a sense of calm and happiness. Nature enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of flora and fauna. All the restaurants showcased a delectable array of dishes crafted from seasonal ingredients, many of which are sourced from the hotel's own gardens and local farms. Whether savoring a leisurely meal overlooking the lake or enjoying a fireside dinner under the stars, each dining experience is a feast for the senses. Service at the hotel is attentive and personalized, ensuring that every aspect of your stay is catered to with warmth and hospitality.

The property is too far from the nearest airport which was a bit of a discomfort because both me and my friend have motion sickness and we had a tough time. Though everything was perfect but a few things like refilling the bathroom amenities and keeping sufficient towels need attention.

Excellent hospitality. Staff went out of their way to make you feel literally at home. Great spread of cuisines. Superb speed of service at all three restaurants on site. The layout of the resort is lovely if you love taking long walks. Special callout for the 4x4 plantation tour. The real winner is the lush green landscape of the resort coupled with the abundance of birds that beautifully helps you disconnect from regular life. I cannot reiterate the mental recuperation that this resort offers. Every time you walk through the resort, you feel the lush green visual setting collaborating with the crisp clean air and soothing you. If you're like me and believe vacations are about hitting a pause button from active daily life, this resort has the largest button possible in Coorg.

I would have liked Chinese cuisine as part of the A La Carte menu along with more traditional coffee shop dishes like Club Sandwiches, Fries, Nuggets which were doable off menu but not obvious. A nice large plush reading chair in each room would be nice.

The views and environment were beautiful, and bird life vibrant.

Dinner felt rushed. The meal was of average quality.

The experience of staying amidst nature and waking up to the sound of birds in the morning is surreal. The staff were amazing, very helpful. I’d like to mention that Miss Jaseela was the staff allotted of us and she did a great job in coordinating and getting various activities booked for us. We had a great time at the machan tree top dining and the aainmane visit. Would like to also thank Mrs Molly and her housekeeping team for making us feel special with the floral art every time they cleaned our room.

The facilities in our Village met all our expectations. It was just the right place to relax. The resort had many places where we could spend leisure time.

The food at the Granary restaurant, was below standard. Way below to what the resort otherwise is. Great scope for improvement.

Absolutely everything is outstanding in this resort: the service, the staff, the food, the rooms… We made different activities and everything was absolutely perfect: the Dubare elephant camp, the bike ride, coffee tasting, bird watching…highly experienced rangers and guides!The food in the different restaurants is absolutely stunning and also for breakfast different places could be chosen.
