Shout outs to Sally/李彩英 sister for checking me in as well as checking me out! She’s the best supervisor there in this hotel! Very nice & helped me to change to a better room for no extra charge! They also offer free welcome iced plum juice that you may drink to quench your thirst at the front desk! Fitness centre is located on the 3rd floor! The restaurant is there too that you can eat breakfast! I stayed in 1802, 18th floor & it’s totally fine! Then the metro is very closely located next to the hotel! Then Tianjin pedestrian street is just outside to the right & left! Lots of restaurants & mall is here! Be thankful that this is nearby!

The sink faucet head leaked pretty badly, then part of my room wasn’t fully thoroughly cleaned…this is why I didn’t give 10 because it’s quite dirty to see this

smells like cigarettes and the housekeeping is smashing doors and shouting in the hall way all morning starting early

Room comfort and condition was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, with little touches of "extra mile" thrown in (for example I was there 12 nights and when I asked about laundry facilities I got free tokens as I was there for a longer stay).No extra fluff like a bar, leisure centre, car parking - it was all about the accommodation experience.WiFi was free and worked fine whenever I needed it (although subject to the Great Firewall - so arrive in China prepared for that).

Breakfast included is buffet and OK. Nothing to write home about, but there is plenty of choice and you'll not be left wanting.

I really like the location near Zhongshan Square, very easy to get DiDi taxi, centralized location. The free buffet breakfast is a plus, variety options to choose from, I like Chinese breakfast like Chinese donuts, noodle soup and fresh made yogurt; my son loves western style breakfast.

Everything here is a high standard, the bed is comfortable, love the bedsheets and pillows with soft and hard both styles. Non smoking rooms is hardly smell any smoke, this is really difficult to get in China or Asia, too many smokers and they don't follow nonsmoking rules in restaurants and hotels, most hotel rooms smell bad, this was my only choice for last 20 years, only stay in the chain hotels.

I don’t like the property as they are too old and less maintained. The outer window glass is also quite dirty. They didn’t change the plastics bags in the bathroom everyday, they just emptied it.

Room was clean

Breakfast poor for Western style persons. Utensils were often not available (i.e fork and Knife) Coffee poor quality. Orange juice very watered down. Room maintenance needed on shower (shower arm could not stay fixed in cradle) . WC , tank mechanism faulty , and would only work if you open lid and push mechanism. General facilities are old , and either upgrade or better maintenance required.

Good location of the hotel. Close to a metro station.

The shower temperature control. As with most high-rise buildings, they have problems with pressure control. As the pressure of cold and hot water is fluctuating, the temperature of the shower does the same. Setting the shower temperature is not easy. When selecting a nice warm shower, the water temperature fluctuates between extreme cold and extreme hot. This could at least be partially solved with installing a temperature controlled mixing valve in each room.

Great location and generally a very good hotel. My bed on L9 was very uncomfortable but my bed on L15 was excellent. Heated toilet seat etc on L9 was a welcome surprise.

Old fashioned hotel which can use a serious update. The room smelled bad, and there was hair through the whole apartment.
