Location and food are better than I expected.
The Sol Beach Samcheok is a hidden gem for who is going to visit Korea. It’s a must-see destination in addition to Jeongdongjin and Mukho. The beatiful Architecture including the interior of the Hotel is just an ART that one might like to visit for the second time. So is the beach and the sky there. Plus that even it's an hotel maybe over decades, it is pefectly clean and shining.

Cons -

Had a breakfast for 3 days and the food was same for three days. The qualify of good is good but wish they have a special menu for the day.
Only reason we booked this place is because of pool and beach pictures. But! Everything’s a surcharge on top of the rooms being pricier than other local places. Moreover, they don’t even open until a specified date. Such a disappointment. And worker was so rude when I asked how I could get to the beach, she rolled her eyes at me and told me what we see out the buffet room is not of the hotels. Ended up wasting $$$—unable to use anything I thought we’d be enjoying from the pictures.
Transportation for foreigners if without self driving. Nevertheless taxi is still not so hard have one.

An excellent place that one must visit. The view and the environments of the whole resort are amazing, plus that some great places like Mukho Lighthouse and Jeongdongjin are just near by.

Transportation for foreigners if without self driving. Nevertheless taxi is still not so hard have one.

The view of the beach was nice. Buffet was good but overpriced… but you are at a “resort”

I didn’t like that you advertised your staff speaks English. There was a language barrier checking in and ordering food. The chicken restaurant refused to take our order around 11:15pm because they were closing at midnight. Only the splash pad and pool was open. One pool was empty, all waterslides closed and lazy river closed.

They had a private beach that you can access from the resort/hotel and had a restaurants, cafe, connivence store etc!

We stayed 3 bight and we had a request to clean one time plus had to take our own trash…. I mean it wasn’t big deal but compare to how much I paid I feel like I should not been asked to clean up after…

Amazing view, clean, fun facilities. But most importantly loved was the mattress. I literally thought about buying one. It was so comfortable.We definitely will come back.

1. Wished i could change the drink that included in the package. Even i told them i would pay extra to change the drink. but they didn’t let me. Only availability was americano. 2. There was mold in the shower. It was kind of bothering me when i was taking shower.

By the ocean. Good breakfast

A 5 starts hotel, high price in return for a motel standard room and facilities. Central air conditioning, weren’t able to turn off the heat. No bath towels.No hangers or shelves at the bathroom. No bedside table The shower head of poor quality with very low pressure. No place to open luggage. Only one electricity socket. We booked a room with an ocean view and got one right on the water park hiding the view.Uncomfortable parking.

It’s right on the beach.

This is by no means a five star facility. Three star at most. It is dated and in severe need of updates. A/C was not operational.

The view from the window was excellent. Sea, beach, some trees. The facilities were great too. The pools were exceptional! Our kids didn't want to leave. The spa was great too. Absolutely ? % .

The cleaning service is only available once for the entire stay. We stayed 3 nights, and the staff told us that cleaning was only available once.

Room are spacious with a kitchenette and beautiful sea view, perfect to meet sunrise at the East sea. Facilities are diverse. Location is great, right at the beach and close to the food street. Personnel was nice.

No big towels or toiletries at the resort room, only soap, shampoo and body wash. Relatively much mold in the shower room, the toilet and balcony. No room slippers, but the floor is heated, so it's alright. The room is for four people, but there were only two bottles of water.

My mom needed W/C and it was available with room key.. whether it rain or shine, ocean view was nicest thing I would remember!!

I made the reservation for 2 bedrooms and didn't expect a room w/o bed.. I don't think I got notification about it when I confirmed the reservation. Central Heat/cold control was another shock for me - they said that they are taking away air conditioner controler in winter time.. No bath towels - they charged me $1 per each bath towel.

I like this hotel since we came here last year and wanted to repeat the wonderful time we had.The staff is friendly and helpful. Very happy with that part of our stay

It really needs an update and freshening up. The price we paid this time around was much, much higher

Fuss free check in. Breakfast was so worthwhile and value for money. They had so many varieties for breakfast.

Centralised aircon. The aircon wasnt working when we stayed there.
