ANGSANA ZHUHAI PHOENIX BAY

The rooms are very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the entire hotel is clea. The breakfast is fantastic. Everything else is mediocre or bad.

The website lists 3 restaurants but two were closed when I stayed, which made it challenging because there is nothing in walkable distance. The only one open was the fancy Asian food place which is ridiculously expensive for the area and the food is awful. They claim to offer room service but the WeChat code doesn’t work. There is a big pool but there are about 10 chairs and they are located in the water, in the shallow part. The beach setting is nice but the water is brown and swimming is not allowed. I had a reservation for 4 nights, but at the check out their records showed that I was supposed to stay 3 more nights and that I arrived the night before my arrival (which is not possible since I was in a different town). However, the bill was correct but they did not provide an invoice since the dates did not match. They don't respond to the chat in the Booking app, but they finally responsed by email and provided the receipt.

I loved everything about this hotel! It was exceptional, rooms were very big and views were amazing. We stayed during a more quiet season, but the hotel staff and amenities were amazing. Highly recommend, one of the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at!!

Good location, away from the hustle & bustle. Good value for money.

There are a couple of sea beaches but virtually zero facilities, which was very disappointing. The staff don’t speak English, barring one. This made communication channelling.The rooms don’t really have sea view, particularly those with a small pool inside. It shouldn’t be sold as having a sea view.While some of the staff were kind and nice, some just weren’t. Completely oblivious of guests needs and borderline arrogant.Won’t visit again but was okay for a single trip.

It has a stunning environment, perfectly designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. It features a private beach where guests can enjoy leisurely walk by the water's edge. There are tropical gardens surround the property and the hotel offers a peaceful retreat that feels like a hidden paradise.

We are disappointed regarding our recent stay at the hotel. We were looking forward to the welcome fruit arrangement that was promised, but unfortunately, it was not provided even when we left the hotel. Furthermore, we have asked to arrange at a non-smoking floor. But the bedding is full of smells of cigarettes.

Dinning experience was bad, went to the South Asian Restaurant there, and most dish on the manual are unavailable.

A paradise far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We spent a weekend here on a business trip. We wanted nothing better for ourselves. Responsive staff. They improved our room category free of charge for humanistic reasons, for which I will always be grateful. Dinner was incredible!

It would be possible to make the sea more blue, but it's good as it is.

The gym/spa facility is not conveniently located. It has to pass through the corridor with guests room along before reaching those facilities Restaurant choices are very limited with only Thai restaurant and buffet No Chinese restaurant

Absolutely stunning ! The buffet breakfast kept you coming back for more with food from all cultures . The resort was beautiful , lush , killer view across the bay , the staff were next level . Their service amazing . Love the attention to detail in the rooms with choice of pillow , aromas, room service etc . I had an amazing massage in the beautiful Day Spa .

The only thing we could fault is currently there is a major addition being added in to the resort so some loud building noises but that will be a temporary issue .

The room is spacious and clean.

There are only two restaurants. The food served in the "Rice Bowl" at the 5th floor is good but those served in the 1st Floor cafe was very poor. I ordered a bowl of lobster laksa noodle and the quality was so bad that I refused to go there for any more meals. I had to look for restaurants outside because I didn't want to dine in the same restaurant at the 5th Floor for all 4 days.

There is no place for a quick bite outside the normal meal hours. No shuttle bus to nearby sites.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were great! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable!

We booked a Concept Suite that should have had a hot tub but did not. We swapped rooms to a Canal King.

Best Resort in China - best service in China and we travel really often. English level excellent. I had to gibt the hospital. Everything is as arrange by hotel. Thank you for this comfort!

Everything was brillant

The staff are friendly and they gave us a cake because it’s one of our kids birthday. Swimming pool is good and the dinner buffet.
