The beachfront Hotel el Velero features an outdoor pool and a private beach where you can choose to swim, lounge or relax. - The location on the beach is exceptional, the food was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly!
- The hotel was so cute. Staff was amazing. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. Absolutely wonderful stay.
- Beautiful shade trees, pool, balcony, and open air restaurant on a beach made for romantic sunsets. The hotel features cool solid stone floors and vibrant local art. The staff smiles, welcomes, sings & dances! :)
Cons -
- Bed was uncomfortable. Only thing keeping me from giving it a 10.
- Even with windows closed, the smell from someone possibly smoking in the parking lot came in through the air conditioner.
- The TV was difficult to use, but we didn't watch much TV. Other than that, can't think of anything.

This hotel was clean and the room had a modern design and fixtures, and the beds were comfortable. The location is great--right on the beach, and it also has a pool. I like that they have lounge chairs available for guests to use on the beach.
The TV was difficult to use, but we didn't watch much TV. Other than that, can't think of anything.
