The hotel room has a simple kitchen, which makes it convenient for us to cook some basic meals, as we do not like outside food too much oil/grease.

I have to call room services several times to get stir fried pan, cutting board, knife, stream pot, dish soap, dish cloth. there are no any ingrediate. I have to buy salt/soy sauce/vinagur/sugar etc from nearby market.

The location is great with the food market just across the street. Room was very clean and decent size. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Everything! Night market was opposite, free shuttle bus to the beach, staff was friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Very clean, spacious & comfortable. Just across the street from the night market. Nice sea view from the living room & master bedroom. All rooms had balcony. Conveniently equipped with a washer or you could go to the laundry room on another floor. Kitchen and dining area were roomy & well-equipped. Would highly recommend!

Would be nice if there was a dishwasher.

Big rooms. Nice balcony to sit outside and look at the great view. Right across the street down the food night marker. Scooter rental nearby.

Location isn’t greatI had a room with sea view but if I’ll be there next time, I’ll take garden view. Because sea is far away and the view is mostly dominated by rusty barracksPersonnel mostly doesn’t speak any English

The hotel is absolutely wonderful—immaculately clean, stylish, and beautifully designed. The breakfast is diverse and delicious, the staff is courteous and welcoming, and the location is perfect—right across from the night market and close to public transportation. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with meticulous housekeeping.

The only minor drawback is the absence of a full-length mirror in the hallway. It would be a great addition, and I hope the hotel management considers it!

Property was perfect location close to the beach and food market opposite. Was very clean and comfortable stay from the bedding to the Aparment facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very good apartment, very complete gym (although dumbbells only until 25kg). There was a very nice kitchen with microwave and oven. I believe this hotel suits better longer stays.

Breakfast charged as separate item and over expensive. On Booking for two people, the room with breakfast included was 50 euro more. But when asking in person, it was 68 yuan = 8 euro. And even that price is too big. We decided to order from a breakfast shop and got a lot for less than that.Felt understaffed at times and the existing staff did nit have the best attitude. The pool is quite uninviting compared to other hotels in the same price range.For the kitchen utilities there were stickers that once removed meant that we would need to pay an additional charge for using those (in the end we were not charged but made us hesitant to use those at first). Any consumables available also would be charged separately: coffee, tea. The TVs had an issue where one remote would command the two tvs at the same time, causing some confusion.A drunk guy touched our doorbell at 4am.

Great location, right across the street from night market. Spacious room good facilities, very helpful staff. Steven helped me found my lost items and mailed them back, very convenient. Super good value for the money, better than starred hotels.

Room and view is great, 30 mins to airport by car.

Breakfast is bad, Even coffee and tea are bad, would not include breakfast next time.

I’ve stayed at the Oakwood many times - staff are lovely - great facilities and a great location!

This was my second visit, and I had high expectations based on my previous positive experience. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing, starting with the service at the front desk. A lady staff member gave confusing information about the meal plan. She mentioned a 1-for-1 meal promotion and offered to calculate if it would be more cost-effective than ordering à la carte. However, she later forgot about it entirely and instead recommended a 7-meal plan, which turned out to be more expensive based on our own calculations. When questioned about it, she claimed it had already expired. She seemed inexperienced and unfamiliar with her duties.The room also had issues. The hairdryer was not functional and had to be replaced, and toiletries were not adequately replenished. Conditioner, shampoo and shower gel were not topped up, and the shower gel bottle was later removed and instead only provided as a one-time bottle for a single use, which is not environmentally friendly as wellBreakfast was another letdown. The hot water dispenser was poorly maintained and didn’t work, and the food variety was limited. The staff at the noodle station lacked basic courtesy. They didn’t mention that the noodles contained beef until we asked, which was highly inconsiderate, especially for guests with dietary restrictions.For the price charged, I expected much better quality and service. Compared to my previous visit, it’s evident that the management has either slackened or cut costs significantly. I left feeling very disappointed and would not recommend this accommodation given the decline in standards.

Highly recommend this apartment for long term stays because of the facilities, cleanliness and helpful staff. Mandy from front desk was so helpful and catering to both mandarin and non mandarin speaking guests, the boy bells were very kind and the cleaning staff were also very thoughtful. Great team here makes the place feel like home :)

-the price is unbeatable.-the room is nice and clean and spacious. We got a queen bed and a single bed, the size of the bed is big enough and the bed itself is comfy -nice and big fridge. Even we weren’t planning on cooking during our stay, but it’s super nice to keep our drinks and fruits cool within a clean and spacious fridge -I’m a clean freak so I sanitizes the room right away when I first enter. As I wipe down each counter top, I can feel this place is clean -I personally also enjoyed the pressured shower head

-breakfast has A LOT of room to improve. not saying it’s bad but there’s a few things that I felt like mentioning. 1) food options could expand some more. There’s a good amount of Chinese options but western options can definitely be better. 2) portions of the food on display was small. My family are big on salads for breakfast and I think we can basically empty the entire bowl of mixed greens. Once they are almost empty, they don’t get filled up immediately. Sometimes, they wait until the bowl is completely empty to refill or just leave it empty and ignore. We always have breakfast pretty early, not like right before it ends so I think this is something definitely worth mentioning. There’s a lot of empty or almost empty bowls while there’s quite a few staff standing and doing nothing. 3) the staff at the noodle station seems like 不太聪明是样子 there’s one guy that don’t really know how to communicate. I asked for more veggie while I barely get a few leaves in my bowl. When I try to communicate, this guy is lack of response. Him being unresponsive makes me wonder multiple times if he hear me or understand me or not. Once the noodle is ready for me, I was not informed in anyway whatsoever. Since I can’t read his mind, I wasn’t even sure if he will be making my order or not. One time I didnt come close to the noodle station until I’m almost done with breakfast (not knowing if he ever heard my order or not) that he informed me that my noodle has been ready for a long time and it’s now cold. 4)I read reviews about staff members English proficiency and I have witnessed communication difficulties at breakfast for sure. -I read negative reviews about noise from the night market right on the opposite side, I can’t really speak for that bc our room was on the other side of the building. But I could imagine it can get noisy at night especially if you sleep really early

Location,friendly and helpful staff

The hallway at the level we are staying at was hot n dark in the night. It could be better if there are lights switched on n aircon as the guests may just come back from late supper or need to go the laundry room.The 3 bedroom had a misty smell when we first opened. May need to properly ventilate the apartment.

The room was spacious and clean. The sea view from the room is nice too.The breakfast was pretty good too with many variety and taste good.There are many other facilities like the swimming pools, gym and free laundry.The real gem of this place is its exceptional staff! During my stay, I made a careless mistake and lost my backpack. But the front desk team, Sweety, Mandy and Peter, went above and beyond to help me retrieve it. Their kindness, empathy, and persistence in making multiple calls to the shop and Didi customer service were truly impressive. I'm forever grateful for their help and dedication. They turned a frustrating experience into a heartwarming one!
