It’s tranquil and peaceful with simple but chic interior design. Spacious rooms with bathtubs. Beautiful view over the pool and beach, very good breakfast - great variety and very delicious.

Beach bar and pool bar were not working. Average dinner.

We were lucky to book this hotel. We stayed at the villa, very spacious, clean and peaceful. Big nice pool at the villa. Excellent service at reception and at the beach. Very nice location in the bay, I would say the best among what we have seen (all other beaches had rough waves and were not swimmable, whereas our beach was peaceful).

The pools both at the villa and the one at the beach side were very shallow. I think this is the standard in China.

Absolutely charming property. Good quality build in warm wood tones. Not new and flashy but delightful and very comfortable. Staff were amazing and made us feel truly welcome. Going above and beyond to deliver a great experience. Food was all very tasty, great Thai and Chinese options. We stumbled upon this property accidentally whilst staying at a nearby hotel, and we decided to book in here. Truly incredible find that elevated our whole trip to Sanya. Direct beach access to a swimmable bay. Lovely pool with ocean views. The design transports you to a South East Asian hideaway. Beautiful architecture. We came back truly relaxed.

I had a generally pleasant experience. The rooms are great, very spacious, and offer nice views with all the necessary amenities. The gardens and pools are a lovely touch, providing a relaxing atmosphere.The breakfast was good, though not extraordinary, it was adequate for a satisfying start to the day. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its prime beachfront location, offering easy access to a beautiful beach, which was a highlight of my stay.

However, there are areas where the hotel could improve. The pool area needs better maintenance, as it didn't always meet the standards expected of a five-star establishment. Additionally, the hotel, in general, would benefit from more consistent upkeep.Service was good but could be elevated to match a five-star rating. For instance, the absence of welcome drinks was noticeable—a small touch that is typically standard in 5* hotels and easy to implement.Overall, it's a solid choice for a beachside vacation, but with a few improvements, it could truly stand out. Hard to find something better in the area.

Poor villa was excellent and it was neet and clean and only language problem which we face

Loved the theme and decoration of the hotel. It does transport you to Thailand. Every space is extremely well thought out. I even loved the bathrooms ? Loved the pool with partial beach and sea view, and the direct access to the beach. Very decent gym as well. The room is stunning, with balcony, huge bathroom with moving door/window so you can get a view of the balcony.

Only one thing. I spotted a little gecko in the room on my third day. The guard downstairs said they're harmless but offered to change my room if it bothered me. I am not too surprised this would happen. Sanya is a tropical nature place and the hotel is very open. They do have a notice upon entering the room explaining that this could happen.

External facilities (swimming pool and beach) suffering of lack of care. Unfortunately no pool bar opened.

The Good location, amazing interior and exterior. very close to beach.

The staff was absent from the beach. every day played only one sad melody.The breakfast was ordinary and not change.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The architecture is worthy of mention. The use of wood, concrete and tile is so tastefully done. The breakfast options were great. The staff were nice. The signature massage and body scrub offer was well worth it. To be honest it was everything I needed it to be. Serene and quiet by the ocean with well manicured gardens. I have to give it to them, they did their homework!

Beach was quite dirty with garbage in the water and rocks on the bottom.

The breakfast is amazing! The hotel looks amazing and the pool is surrounded by a lot of palmtrees, birds and flowers. It's pretty and peaceful. Staff is friendly and helpful.

1. The service: the staff is friendly, but I had the feeling that there is a lot of staff but they don't actually do a lot. There's no bar at the pool or service. So you have to go inside and order, much more money could have made here if they did service at the pool or use the we chat QR-code. On the other hand, we tried some cocktails and they tasted like soft drinks. the fresh coconuts or smoothies on the other hand are delicious! 2. The maintenance of the hotel: I could see that the hotel had better days. It's actually a very pretty hotel, but there are some things need fixing. I felt like the photos were from years ago, because the white beds outside aren't there anymore (read: doesn't look good anymore). and the floor around the pool could use some maintenance. Also there weren't any activities in the hotel and the staff speaks barely English but they do try and are helpful. 3. The sun beds at the sea area are always full with local people. That's why the hotel put a chain on the sun beds, but it doesn't help, they sit their any way and it's a bit annoying if you want a peaceful afternoon at the sea. Maybe it's because of Covid, but I do hope someone will make this hotel great again because it has a lot of potential!

The hotel is nice as usual, it's not the first time we come here and we love its Balinese style, rooms are clean, with good size and with amazing balcony/view. Breakfast is also quite good, there are several options and the outside table area is really enjoyable. The swimming pool is great too. The beach is nice and not overcrowded. The hotel location is not too far from the hotel and close to several restaurants.

The problem seems to be there is no maintenance of the beach facilities. There were only few beach umbrellas (they removed some, just leaving the poles), not enough deckchairs and some available were broken. No personnel in the beach area to assist you: unlock the deckchairs (they're chained to the umbrella pole) and keep them available for the hotel guests (other people were always occupying them). The beach is very nice, but the private spots of the hotels aren't well kept. Also, the bed mattresses in the swimming pool area are old and broken. In the room, keeping the shower temperature stable was an issue. In my opinion, this could be a 9/10 score hotel with just a bit more of maintenance and care.

Privacy and peace. The good balance between Chinese and western style

Sadly this was during a covid outbreak but the staff were very helpful and got us to the airport in time. The studio room was massive and very clean. The pool is big enough for all guests. Breakfast is yummy!

Check in is a bit slow with only one.person working.

Private beachfront location, easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and convenience stores. A short taxi drive to busier parts of Sanya. Buffet breakfast was fresh and the opening times were generous- up to 10:30am.

Tired and dated- in need of a refit. Property advertises DVD player and iPod dock… seriously, in 2022? For the record, there was no DVD player in my room and the iPod dock is for an iPhone 5 phone.Very little English spoken by staff and this to some comes across as rude when they simply walk off because they don’t understand or they are possibly illiterate and could not read the translators.Not many vegan, non-diary options for guests… only had milk and a warm Chinese soy milk to drink for breakfast. Room service is not 24 hours as advertised- it finishes around 10:30pm, so if you come in around 1am from your flight, you have to order from an external delivery service. Also, one night when I did order room service around 6:00pm, I could not order a cheesecake dessert with my meal as I was told the cook goes home at 6:00pm.No pool service… not once did any staff ask any guests would they like something to eat or drink from the bar…even though 4 staff would be standing around doing nothing. Bed was comfortable and the towels were changed daily. Accessories in the bathroom were replaced daily as well. The shower and bath areas were chipped, mouldy and definitely need to be replaced. Balcony area is spacious and I had a lovely view.I get the impression the hotel was once part of a larger chain (Anantayra) and broke away- hence the lack of upgrade of facilities and poor staff training. The price of the room per night is reasonable but this hotel is not a Western 5-star hotel- 4 stars at most. If staff were trained properly, the hotel would definitely raise its standards and has the potential to be a fabulous hotel. If I wasn’t travelling with a group, I would not have chosen this hotel.

The pool and the view.

Some areas could do with an upgrade. The pool bar was closed and no one was taking orders at the pool- a lot of money could've been made there!

The staff is very accommodating. They will try and solve any issue you may have, and will find someone to help if they can't directly. The villas are very well designed and private. Location and price of the hotel are fantastic! Great place for couples or friends, not necessarily for families.

A minor issue, but something as large as the villas should include a Nespresso station or something similar in the room.
