The hotel is across a street from the ocean with good view Hotel management team solved issue to protect consumer's benefit. See below for details.

Unfortunately I was not satisfied!

Service , front office doesn’t speak English , doesn’t accept international cards , the room on photo not same as in reality , loud outside

Great location and service. Good value, friendly and helpful staff!

We enjoyed staying at Shengyi hotel, as the manager Mrs Lin was fantastic in her understanding of our needs. She was accommodating to change our room to higher floor as we needed a quiet corner room. Staff were friendly to provide cleaning product for our laundry use, and extra chair for our need. We liked the convenience to walk to the beach and to the town centre. Ear plugs were provided which was so useful.

Initially, our allocated room was on a lower floor which was a bit noisy due to the construction outside, but the managers handled our request for a quieter room in timely manner.

Location is good, cleaning aunty is good, value for money

The safe box is spoiled and they came to fix 4 times, but still unable to fix, in the end I never use it.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke good English

Perhaps a bit too far from activities

Staff were very helpful even though they did not speak English. Advised us as much as they could. Our room had a great view also.

We thought that breakfast was little expensive.

the location was excelent

the hotel room was bit old but clean

The location of Shengyi Holiday Villa was excellent! It was conveniently located in the Sanya city centre, and a short ride to any attraction be it Yalong Bay or TianYaHaiJiao (they are in opposite directions). There are plenty of good restaurants and interesting malls just a short stroll away. The hotel was located on the bustling beachfront and we enjoyed the large balconies with wonderful seaviews. Our rooms were very nicely appointed and very comfortable. The hotel had a welcoming, beachy atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Wish there was more hanging space in the bathroom for our bath towels. The boardwalk by the beach was bustling with activity (a very interesting walk!) - do be prepared for sounds of singing and dancing from the morning into the night but everyone is very considerate, all activity stops at 930pm so you can have a good rest at night!

The room was very comfortable and clean, the pool was very nice and the staff very friendly

The facilities would need some renovation here and there. The breakfast was for my taste not what I would have expected from a five star hotel.

I spent my time in your hotel so good! The veiw on my balcony was incredible, location was good too) bed so cozy, breakfast was varied. Thank you for every thing.

Nice view of the ocean from the rooms with balcony. Huge 40sqm+ rooms with separate lounge areas/sofa.Nice buffet breakfast. Friendly staff

The corridors and apartment lift lobby areas are non-air conditioned, so feels hot and humid, can't wait to get back into the rooms.

Staff tried there best to speak English! Outdoor swimming pool is nice but not heated. Breakfast was good but very busy!

Not on the beach front - have to cross the road.Location isn’t the best - Not much stuff around.

The staff was amazing, especially Sharon, the manager! She was incredibly helpful and kind. The view and the facilities were also great!

The hotel staff were wonderful, in particular this one front desk staff member- she spoke great English and was so helpful. Everything about the hotel is great, and I would recommend the facility.

I feel the hotel 's restaurants should serve a bit more Western food. And, oh, the bath tub being out in the open next to the bed without any kind of partition.... I thought was a bit weird.

Sharon at reception and the ayis were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent, with delicious banana bread. The facilities looked nice in the photos, but were definitely cheap and run-down.

There is ZERO SOUNDPROOFING. You can literally hear everything- from your neighbors walking and moving a chair upstairs, to people in the hall chatting and opening their doors. Outside was the worst, as there were crowds of people, having talentless singing and dancing competitions with large amplifiers EVERYDAY from 6:30-21:30. It was a complete nuisance and we did not enjoy staying at the hotel during the day. The beds were hard. Also, just to note, some of the photos in the booking advertisements are (discovered after arrival) clearly photoshopped. I was disappointed that there were no cabanas on the beach for lounging, as advertised in the images. It's not actually ON the beach. There is a busy street, a loud boardwalk with singing retirees, a short path, AND THEN the beach.

Convenience location and staffs were very helpful
