The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen

A Great price for a Ritz Carlton.

Location and breakfast were good.

The room needed a revamp. Some of the hinges on the cupboard door was very loose, some of the socket were damaged and the shutter in the bathroom was very tacky. Was a certain odd smell in the bathroom.

Staff were very helpful and polite. We enjoyed every single day of our stay at the hotel. The location is amazing and the landscape is spectacular.

The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered a stunning window view of the city skyline. I particularly appreciated the luxurious bathroom with automatic toilets, which added an extra touch of comfort and convenience. Room service was prompt and the quality of the food was excellent. The gym was well-equipped and maintained, making it easy to stick to my fitness routine. The location was perfect for my business trip — directly opposite the Convention Center and just a short 5-minute walk away. Overall, it was a seamless and very comfortable stay.

Honestly, there was nothing significant that I didn’t like. Everything from the room, service, facilities, and location exceeded my expectations. It was a truly seamless and comfortable experience.

Wonderful personal service, the team go out of there way to take care of you and make you feel like a valued customer. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Comfortable clean room, a little dated but far outweighed by the excellent service across the entire hotel, convenient location and breakfast. Located right next to the metro station, Starbucks and good Japanese restaurant over the road, what more do you need?!

Talk about first world problems, I feel bad marking them down for such trivial things. The room slippers are way too small for male western feet!!

I have stayed at many hotels around the world and I believe the staff and services at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen were some of the best I ever recieved. The staff was amazing, attentive, and treated me wonderfully. The location was great and close to many malls, bars, and restaurants. Room was clean with a beautiful view of the city. Will definitely stay again

Only the food options were a bit over the top service wise and fussy. But I guess people like that.

We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely book again when we’re back in Shenzhen. Our room was upgraded to a Junior Club Suite and the hotel set up a kid's tent for us inside our room! The food and service is excellent.

Waiting staff at breakfast restaurant were not the best, they could learn from their colleagues in Dubai about service

The facilities were quite good, room was nice & spacious. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. A staff member kindly arranged a manicure for me at a nearby salon.

We checked in after 6pm & it took over half an hour as our room wasn't ready. We sat down to wait & nobody came back to update us. We had to go back to the desk ourselves to get updated. For the inconvenience, we got free breakfast but we were very unimpressed with the wait and lack of updates regardless. This shouldn't happen at a top hotel.

the lounge was excellent for its service food was tasty but limited choice the hot deserts in the evening was fantastic

Staff were very accommodating - especially Alex the concierge had great recommendations and even showed us directions to where we needed to be.

The property was lovely - the only problem is that there is limited seating at the pool area and staff do not seem accommodating to set up extra sunbeds.

entrace to the lobby bar was not convenient. It was blocked from all sides and only one entry left.

The hotel is a very well located for shopping malls and transport. The room was exceptionally comfortable.

Overall the breakfast was good. I was only disappointed by the quality of the bread and croissants.

The quality of the staff was outstanding. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Two of them who attended to us personally were particularly impressive - Mr. Jack Lian of the concierge and Miss Fairy Chen of the Western restaurant on the 2nd floor. The former gave useful information of Shenzhen and tirelessly escorted us all the way to the subway after we checked out while the latter met our request outside, we believe, her purview of work in that she went somewhere away from the restaurant to fetch us something that was not readily available thereat. It was our sincere heartfelt gratitude for their exemplary service that far exceeded our expectations. We have to congratulate the hotel management of boasting staff of such exceptional quality. This also explains why the hotel holds such high reputation.

The swimming pool is a bit old.
