Overall a nice option with a close proximity to HQB area. Had initial problems with our room but the staff sorted it out

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but I saw a man smoking while he was checking-in. I later asked one of the front desk staff and she said that she told the man that he can not smoke but he ignored her. There should be a non-smoking sign with a fine on the front desk and also at the elevator area because I also saw a man smoking by the elevator on my floor. The smell of the smoke was in the hallway and inside the elevators. I will not be recommending this hotel for non-smokers. Some of the staff at the breakfast restaurant don't smile and one of the kitchen staff (man) was very rude. This is a 5-star hotel, but a 2-star service in the restaurant. There were only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers but one of the dryers was broken. They should have more considered the amount of guests they have. I would have given this hotel a higher rating if it wasn't for the smell of the smoke and the rudeness in the restaurant. I think the management should provide some training for the restaurant staff on how to behave to their customers, specifically on the tone of their voices.

The room is spacious, very clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is good although there is some walking distance to the metro station. The location is close to the park and plenty of restaurants available nearby. The internet speed is decent although as the Chinese fashion, there are lots of services/web sites are blocked by Chinese government. The ability to check out late up to 2pm is greatly appreciated.

While calling from the phone, the direction given from metro station was not clear enough. Instead of the 10 mins walk, I ended up walking over 30 mins to the metro station. Since Google Map service is blocked in China, it is hard to get the direction once out of the hotel.

Great location and very comfortable, clean hotel. Very upmarket with added comforts.

Someone was smoking in the room, the whole room smelled bad, It was quite late when I came and I decided to not to tell reception, stayed overnight in this room but slept bad because of this cigarette smell and regret that I didn’t ask to give me normal room, but in general staff should control this kind of things. How that even possible that someone smokes in the room? Disgusting.

Clean rooms and location, friendly staff.

It would be nice if someone speaks English properly. And fast taxi pickup service was needed but not provided as for a foreigner who does not have a lot of experience with Chinese apps to do it himself. Expensive tea options on the terrace.

The room was clean and spacious, could open both our suitcases and had heaps of space still. Toilet was separate to the shower which was ideal. The view was beautiful, close to a large shopping centre about 10mins walk away.

The location was not very close to MRTs closest was about a 15min walk. Staff had very minimal English was difficult to communicate unless you had the translation app open. The QR code for room service was not working, wifi was weak and shower was not the cleanest but was not terrible.

Location was good. Room was spacious and clean. Everything was provided for in the room. Staff was helpful and approachable.

The air-conditioning was a-bit noisy and not really cooling. A lot of random noise don’t know come from where.

The bed has bed bugs and I woke up with both legs covered in bites and was not compensated

The room was not soundproof. The Breakfast room but very few table and chairs to seat, at the pick time it’s hard to find a table to seat.

IT was potentially great. Very bright open and seemingly friendly.However, the unavailability of the pool was a real downer. All the staff were eager to please but the communication/language aspect, coupled with the inability to access Google, Meta and other online features made some of the discussions take alot longer...getting taxi is not a simple can we get a vehicle to go to..xx....The reception team were good , allowed us a late check out, no issue. the cleaning staff were wonderful. Aways smiling!

the fact that the pol was unavailable for 4.5 days ...because the water was being changed? This in a city where 10 months ago there wasnt a completed road bridge across the Pearl river (5Km long). Absolutely rubbish excuse. very very disappointed. It might have been better if there was a genuine reception person manning the Health/gym area as opposed to a bored personal trainer

The room was huge and had a lovely art carpet. It's great value and the staff were attentive.The location by the river and park is lovely.

The pool is always busy with children. I tried going early at 6.30am, but it opens at 9am. As it's so busy, I would suggest extending the opening hours.The bar closes at 10pm which is quite early. I wanted to get a drink but they had already closed early, and they were late opening breakfast one day.The windows were never clean which spoiled the views a bit.

Great location, very clean, confortable and with a SPA on the 2nd floor.They also have a robot that delivers food to your room!

Nothing to mention
