Pullman Shenzhen North

Amazing location, right on the train station. Helpful staff with great English skills (unlike what some other reviews stated), they sent detailed instructions on how to navigate and find the hotel lobby which turned out to be essential because it is a little confusing. Incredible view from the high floors.

No complaints really. It wasn't so cheap, but the value is definitely there,

The design, room cleaning, and proximity to the train station make it essentially a station hotel. If you're interested in seeing the best prostitutes in Shenzhen rather than working or exercising, the hotel will suit you. But if you want to sleep, the moaning from neighboring rooms will disturb you.

My stay at this hotel left me with extremely negative impressions. The problems started right from the beginning: the hotel staff took a long time to process the payment correctly. After check-in, it turned out that the pool advertised on Booking.com was not working because it was unheated and located outdoors. The sauna, which was open on the first day but not functioning, was boarded up with drywall the next day to prevent guests from using it. The equipment in the gym was very poorly chosen. The hallways often smelled of cigarette smoke.The breakfast, especially for the "Pullman" category, was very meager and did not meet expectations. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable: when I tried to lie down on the bed, the connection would drop, causing my phone to switch to roaming, which resulted in additional charges. During important calls, the connection could also drop for no apparent reason. This happened both in the lobby and in the room.The gym locker room had a strong smell of paint and chemicals, making it unpleasant to be there. The hotel staff seemed unprepared: they couldn’t give clear answers to simple questions, such as the location of the locker room, even though it was in the next room. There were other instances of incompetence: I left my phone in the lobby, and when I returned, it had been taken away. Thanks to the Apple Find feature, I managed to locate the device in the staff’s service room.The final straw was the check-out process. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get the necessary documents from the concierge, but in the end, they told me they would send them by email. However, given the level of staff competence, I doubt this will be done.This is probably the worst Accor hotel I have stayed in over the past few years. I am very disappointed with the quality of service and the living conditions.

The rooms in this hotel are spectacular with amazing views over Shenzhen. Bed is very comfortable and great bathroom / shower. I paid around £70 GBP per night for my stay which is incredible value. Reception is on the 50th floor so the hotel has a very cool feeling as you arrive.

The coffee at breakfast is brutal. I often find this when I travel to China. Apart from that, the breakfast is good with a good selection of food. Also the pool was closed which is was a shame.

Everything new and clean. Great location to get around Shenzhen. Efficient staff. Don't believe the myth about unfriendly staffs here. Whether they're proficient in English...I don't know though. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here very much and have no hesitation to recommend it to any traveler.

The windows are a bit dirty (from the outside). It somewhat reduces the impact of looking out from 5x floor.

Hotel is modern and clean. Staffs is friendly and helpful. Lobby is locate at 46th floor and very nice view. After work have a drink at the lobby lounge is so relaxing. Rooms located at 47th and above with nice view. Comfy bed and pillow. Most important for me, Super convenient and is just less then 5 min walk to the Shenzhen North station.

If you are foodie, other then three hotel restaurants and some fast food at the station. Not much choices around.

Cleanliness pervades every corner of this place. The air smells fresh, and the meticulously maintained surroundings create a sense of calm and the amenities here are truly impressive. Also, the panorama when gazing out from my room is awe-inspiring.

I’ve noticed that the staff here could use a little boost in their friendliness. Perhaps a warm smile or a more proactive approach would make a difference.

Can be better if the price is lower

Location is perfect as it's connected to Shenzhenbei station.Breakfast was very good - a lot of choice!The hotel itself feels luxurious and futuristic - with it's robot cleaners getting on the lift etc! The room was incredibly good and one you would be paying many times over in Europe.

The swimming pool was one of the reasons in booking this hotel so was very disappointing that I was then told it was closed - seasonal reasoning doesn't really make sense as it was 27c out!

The room is clean and the bed is comfy.

Breakfast is so so. Hv to find table ourselves and the dishes was not collected after other customers finished

Excellent location signposted directly from Shenzhen railway station. Room/suite was enormous, luxurious and super comfortable.

Great proximity to the train station and breakfast was lovely.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best stay. Our room stank of stale cigarette smoke and our TV volume was so soft that you couldn't hear any of the movies. The pool was closed as apparently too cold to use which was disappointing.

I stay here all my visits.Perfect location for business travellers in SZ and China since just next to SHENZHEN NORTH RAILWAY STATION.

We've got upgraded to the Deluxe Suite which includes a bedroom and a living room. It is very spacious and nicely furnished. The view is also nice. The bathtub has an amazing view. The bed and the overall stay was comfortable.

It looked and felt clean. We liked the room all the way until I stepped into the shower area to find a toothbrush and package left by the previous occupant...Location wise it should be a good one for business, but less convenient for leisure travellers as it's slightly far off from tourist attractions.

The location served us very well. The staff were courteous and helpful especially those at breakfast. They were alert and meticulous. When the sun rays began to come in, the staff would immediately lower the blinds to a level shielding us from the sun without blocking the view.The breakfast was superb too. I used the gym and it served my purpose.
