Pros +
- The newer sections of the hotel are beautifully designed. The spa area is spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to unwind. All the amenities offer stunning views of the mountains, and the serene atmosphere makes it even more peaceful. A last remark, I’d like to make about the gym was amazing and had everything one would need.
- Excellent. Ski-in ski-out, incredible breakfast, super spa, really nice staff. Feels like a home from home which is the best thing I think a hotel can achieve.
- Excellent location, good food, excellent facilities
Cons -
- Some areas of the hotel are older, though very well maintained. It is surprising that not everything has been updated compared to the newer sections.
- The dinner was below standard for a four star hotel in our opinion plus it was expensive for what we got. We had higher quality food at Esszimmer and Stüva for not much more. The staff who served the dinner was very friendly and helpful and the service was good but the food mediocre
- Small menu at restaurant

amazing for skiing, very convenient, free parking & beautiful spa
Good facilities and good hotel location. Our stay was enjoyable till the last evening and an incident that marked our holidays and the first day of the New Year.
The evening before our departure from the hotel I approached the reception desk (I was greeted politely by Mr Janett) and ask of a copy of my bill. After reviewing the invoice, I noticed that a charge of 112 CHF has been added to my bill but that is not something that I have been informed or agreed on. I explained my reasoning and informed that I am not happy to pay for that specific fee but the rest of the bill (overall exceeding 3000+ CHF) is indeed correct and I am happy to clear the outstanding balance minus the 112£ CHF overcharge. Mr Janett politely explained that he has to request his manager approval for that. I replied that I understand and waited for the next step.I was approached by an agitated and sarcastic Head of Reception (Miss Schmidbaur) who in a very agitated and unprofessional way placed from the beggining of the conversation a barrier, not willing to listen to the guest and understand the aspects of my complaint.I informed her that as a matter of principle I am refusing to be overcharged and that decision was being supported by my signature being abscent from the hotel receipt presented to me, by a verbal interraction we had with a hotel waitress that informed us that the specific champagne that we ordered was on the house (witht my partner witnessed the entirety of the conversation and the truthfulness of my claim) and from the fact that in all communications received from the hotel there is no single mention that the drinks will be charged separately and not as part of the New Years meal service. It was at thet point that Miss Schmidbaur started raising her voice to me in front of the eyes of my astonished partner shouting “You have to pay and you WILL pay”. In an attempt to intimidate me she “threatened” me that she will bring the hotel Director to talk to me. I felt inI strongly believe that had I spoken fluent German and not English, I would have a higher chance to be treated with dignity and not being looked down on.
Good
Unusual for a Swiss and not ideal to have the spa saunas not open until 13:00. This isn't fair to guests that check out at 11 on the same day and aren't able to make use of the facilities.
The Restaurant, dining choices and service were all exceptional. The panoramic views from the restaurant were an additional bonus! The children were treated with absolute equality with the adults, which was a wonderful experience for them; the check-in, the little robes and slippers, and the thoughtful little touches like the "Ice-Cream passes" and small gifts just set this place apart from anywhere we've ever stayed, even which claim to be child-friendly.The history of the hotel, the views, the fresh air and the small acts of going above and beyond mean we cannot wait to return and create more fantastic family memories together here.
Beautiful hotel above Arosa, if you come by train they pick you up at the station.Book half board and they make a great dinner with chooses for everyone. The breakfast is ample and delicious. The bar is also very nice and staff friendly and competent.
Breakfast. Location. Facilities. Staff very attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Variety of restaurants and bars in the town.
We loved everything.
Gear facilities and very helpful staff. Amazing breakfast spread. Great pool and outdoor spa pool.
simply amazing hotel, perfect location, great rooms, attentive staff, very convenient to get on the slope, straight from the ski room, I very rarely give 10/10 this is one of those times
pillows were awful and that’s about it, Wi-Fi was breaking connection at times but other than that everything was amazing
The hotel was very nice and we really enjoyed our time in Arosa. We took our dog with us and that's great that the hotel accept dogs in the rooms. In addition, everytime we had questions the hotel replied very quicky per e-mail which is very appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional and the spa areas are also great.
We booked only one night and as the check-in is quite late (4pm), with a dog, we need the room before going to the spa or do some activities. Therefore, we could only enjoy the spa facilities on the evening (The outdoor pool and sauna are closed the mornings until 1pm).The sauna areas are mixed and without clothes. For some it might be normal but not everybody can feel comfortable to go to the sauna.
position and SPA are the best of the hotel
The concierge people are not professionals.
Fantastic ski location . Superb wellness area .Nice hotel . Shuttle service bad , only till 19.00 .
The shuttle hotel service non applicable after 19.00 to the Arosa Center . The reception stuff not efficient ! Had to remind them on questions and reservations of restaurants .
location, facilities, staff, food - everything was excellent!!
only area for improvement was probably the beds - quite dated and twins not doubles.
great location and wonderful staff
no good coffee unfortunately
Restaurant Kachelofa-Stübli was a delight, amazing food, fantastic service! Breakfast was nice as well, with a fantastic room. We also stayed on one of the renovated rooms which are well done.
- They booked the full 970 CHF for 2 nights from my credit card nearl 2 weeks in advance- 1st floor, right above the parking lot- Room has no minibar, not even a waterheater or cups. They cleaned the room but didnt pick anything up that was on the floor and left dirty napkins from room service the night before on the table- when we asked about the Spa at reception, a lady without any ability to smile looked at both of us and said it is only open for hotel guests....- we couldnt get a table at any of the 3 restaurants the fiest night. When we asked about room service, the guy said no, not availability since all restaurants are fully booked, we have to go into town....
exceptional staff, great kids facilities, high quality ingredients breakfast with large variety, superb location, very good restaurant
apparently some rooms decorated old style, modernisation of interiors is needed
