    • very clean and nice small hotel located directly on the ski slope - modern room with balcony with Mountain View was sensationell- great terrace to sit outside especially on a sunny day - very polite staff and very good food

    Cons -

    • Incredibly poor value- especially during October off season in Arosa. The room was unattractive with worn out and outdated furniture, poor quality linens, 30year old decor, no amenities, cheap plastic flooring in the bathroom… the list could go on! The personnel were also entirely inadequate (poorly trained) and verging on rude- zero sense of hospitality or professionalism. It’s so disappointing to see how much this hotel has declined over the years. The restaurant was equally sub-standard with poor quality products (especially at breakfast!) and a mediocre wine list.
    • The fan in the bathroom was a bit nisy... however it switched off automatically after a while.

Super clean and tidyBreakfast with high quality products. It is a bit further from the city center but excellent value for money and super close to some nice hiking routes.

    Location, spacious rooms, great food.

    10PatrycjaPosted on: 11-26-2024

Nice Mountain View, great food in the restaurant, good location straight into the mountains (and slopes in the winter), nice renovated bathroom in room, it was practical to have a parking space reserved for each room.

The view from the balcony is amazing. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the staff is very lively. The outside restaurant's terrace is perfect to a nice meal with beautiful view. A very welcoming place in general. Receive a handful of tips which hikes to take and where to go.

The breakfast was included, which is great, however it was pretty standard. It would be great to have some veggies next to cheese and eggs.

Marc and his wife and parents were exceptional hosts. The meals were fantastic particularly the Cordon Bleu

    Location was ideal.

Wi-fi was somewhat lacking - I was not able to connect with my laptop, which was something I very much needed. Thankfully, a helpful member of staff assisted me in finding a solution. Breakfast was fairly basic.

Perfect location, ski in and ski out. Room is clean and very comfortable - and with a very nice view!

Great for hiking and restaurant good quality, but staff could be more friendly

Air quality in the room could improved, smell a bit of kitchen 3 floor lower, building needs a revamp

We had a lovey spacious room at the back of the hotel, which overlooks the slopes so you can see the skiers coming past your window. The layout of the room was well thought out, with plenty of space to hang clothes and ski gear for instance, and plenty of shelving around the sink and bath for toiletries. It could not have been better located - you are straight on the slopes when you come out of the door, and just a few metres downhill to the regular ski bus to get into town, to the station etc. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful and speak great English too. The restaurant is fantastic, the best food we had during our stay. The terrace is a popular spot for lunch with skiers and locals. I am gluten free and they made sure that I was well catered for. There is a good choice at breakfast.

Nothing, it was all great. Do make sure to bring good walking boots with grip, as the hill down into town (there is a bus too) can be slippery in the snow. Note that there isn't a lounge to hang out if you are not skiing, though of course there is the restaurant area. There is a small day room which would be fine for kids to play cards or a board game but it's not somewhere you would sit and relax for long periods.

Top location - friendly family mountain chalet

    10IvanPosted on: 10-31-2022

Rustic, eye-relaxing interior design. The staff speaks English and is very friendly and makes their best efforts to help. Exceptionally tasty food (make sure to reserve the dinner table 5-6 hours in advance, and maybe even more in winter).

Pillows are replaced with folded duvets which are uncomfortable

    9HenryPosted on: 10-19-2022

Nice location, nice clean room, friendly straf. Fine restaurant.

Hotel and staff were very accommodating to our needs. The room was very clean and spacious.

    8CatrinaPosted on: 8-6-2022

The hotel was peaceful, out of the centre of the village. The breakfast choice was good.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room despite being told there were. The en-suite bathroom was small - the washbasin was in the room itself and the bathroom door was made of transparent glass.

    10PeterPosted on: 7-11-2022

Wonderful view of the mountains. Pure enjoyment! Excellent cuisine - both breakfast and dinner.

    8JimPosted on: 7-6-2022

Lovely family run hotel located about a mile from the centre of Arosa. A comfortable room with balcony offering great views. Good range of options for eating and drinking both inside and out and friendly staff.

Duvets too small, kept slipping off.Everything else good ?
