Pros +
- Kids facilities are very nice
- I loved the spacy room, excellent breakfast and dinner and a great spa and pool. The shuttle bus was perfect and flexible. The staff was very friendly.
- Very helpful staff good location and restaurant and bar very cosy chalet style although quite a big hotel. Breakfast excellent and good sized room with lovely balcony view. Pool was quite cold but a good size for swimming.
Cons -
- The change in management is evident, as compared to the previous year the quality of many things declined. Staff was, save for some exceptions, unhelpful and bordering on the rude. Quality of the food was also poor.
- Only 2 small things: 1) I had contacted the property before my arrival via booking.com message and then via on-line chat. In both cases I only got 1 answer back, but no further info to my further questions. As a result, I had to book a table in the restaurant for dinner again once I arrived at the reception. I booked all 3 days of my stay but when I came to the restaurant on the 2nd evening, I realized the reservation was not there. 2) The yoga mats in the fitness centre are very dirty.
- Hotel did not answered my questions, what I asked through booking.

Nice spa, with tee or water to drink and some nuts and dried fruits to eat.

The staff was very friendly which made the entire stay absolutely pleasant!
The restaurant is quite expensive, more expensive than many places around. The choice of the food is rather limited. However, the food itself was really good!
Very comfortable beds. Shuttle frequent and flexible.
Awkward way to Gym, Pool, and Spa, all on different levels. It was a pity the halfboard didnt offer the different menues. It gets boring to eat the 5 course meal every evening. It would have been nice if you could offer afternoon tea/ cafeteria with cakes from 14.30-17.00.Boring tv. No English channels on TV ( although swisscom and upc sunrise offers this)
Pretty central location 100m (uphill) to a supermarket and restaurants. Great pool / sauna at the hotel. Traditional Swiss decor hotel and early booking made it good value for money. Breakfast very good with everything from cold meats / fruit / cereals / hot options. Great shuttle bus down to the lifts and back again. I would stay again.
Breakfast was outstanding, views spectacular and staff all very friendly. Food was delicious, coffee fab.
Not applicable. Loved everything.
We liked the restaurant (best steak and service) as well as how kind the staff was to our pup Disco. The sauna and steak was amazing and weight room was awesome.
Good offer for families with children, including spacious indoor playground and SPA.Different restaurants inside of the hotel to choose from.Nice family room with beautiful separated space for children’s bed.Friendly staff.
The family room with balcony was great. There are various facilities for kids - much more than in a regular hotel. Our son loved the game rooms.
The spa was clean, greatly organized and over all relaxing. The supplies for towels, drinking water and tea were well replenished at wellness area. The view from our room was majestic. The swimming pool view was fantastic, most especially at sunset. It was our honeymoon weekend and they have made it truly romantic. The experience was overall 10/10 for us.
Very friendly and welcoming personnel, upgrade to "family room" appreciated. Large room with great view. Excellent breakfast buffet and restaurant (though choice somewhat limited).
Quiet location but relatively far from train station.
- the staff of the Hotel is very friendly and helpful- the location of the Hotel is perfect, a view meters from the main street, but not noisy aso and close to a small lake- the Hotel room was nice (top floor) with balcony, size was good- minibar was for free- there is a lot of entertainment equipment in the Hotel (Dart, table football, own bowling track, flippers, and much more)- breakfast was good, event there was not buffet, bcs we have been out of season there, but we have got everything we wanted to have- - parking for free and enough space- i've needed some print out for my business and they did it for free (thx for that)
- in Arosa a typical topic, that a lot of Hotels are really in the ages, it was renovated, but finally u can feel the age sometimes in the structure
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, there are direct shuttles to the train station (and ski lift). The room had a breathtaking view of the forest and snowy mountains. Breakfast was also quite pleasant.
The design is slightly old fashioned but it did not take away from the amazing service we received.
Playroom for children had many options. Hotel was close to the ski lift.
Extra fee for outside parking.
The hotel is in. Fantastic location just an 8 minute beautiful romantic walk from the Eisbadi and the beach at Untersee. The shuttle bus to the ski lifts is very flexible and frequent and I literally never had to wait for the bus. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of electric car chargers and I didnt have to wait to charge. The wellness was quiet and well equipped with all kind of saunas and nice rest room beds. The fitness has great space to accommodate workout activities using mat and my own equipment.
This will not be a problem to most but will be useful if anyone needs to carry equipment to the gym. The fitness is a bit remote from the rooms and has no lift connection. It was a struggle to carry my own equipment into the fitness up and down 2 levels on the stairs. The hotel lift in the main part of the building is not connecting to the fitness and wellness and is quite small but overall dont let this turn you off.
Room was spacious for a single room, with all the basics with included mini bar. Chocolate on my bed every day which was a nice touch. The spa area was modern and very clean, with lots of space. I did get a massage and it was amazing! The hotel provides a ski lift shuttle which was convenient since the hotel is slightly away from any lifts. Breakfast is adequate.
Pillows were too flat/soft, had to ask for a second one, wich was gladly provided. The shoe room for ski boots were ample with space, but the heaters were never turned on, so no warm feet in the morning.
Extra spa facilities, room clean and well kitted out Hotel restaurant excellent. Staff friendly and helpful and all spoke English. regular transport drop off and collection to ski lifts really helpful to have
The room view is very nice, especially since the hotel is around 15/20 min walk from the train station. Of course, you can wait for the hotel shuttle that comes every 30 min, but please keep that in mind when going back in the evening. The sauna area is quite nice but also very small. The view from the relaxation room is amazingggggggg. The bar area is very beautiful, the piano artist is very talented and the people are always very helpful and smiling.
The bed is like a mountain hut bed, made of wood, small and quite uncomfortable. The pillow was very small and had barely a few feathers in it. I am a tall person (185cm) and I could not fit it properly and always hit my leg on the wood. This is not what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Disappointing! The hotel is especially good in being politically correct and disappointing you in terms of facility. It does NOT provide flip-flops and you can only buy them with 7CHF. For a hotel of this status and the price that I paid for 2 days (almost 800CHF), you would assume that they would not force you to pay an extra 7CHF for flip-flops. When asked why is not as in the advertisement, they say "We say we provide but you have to pay. We don't say that we provide for free. " ... :)))) .. .very politically correct and frustrating for us.The dinner was very disappointing. The food barely had a taste in it and most of the dishes were cooked by someone who looked like unexperienced. The soup had no taste, the risotto was overcooked and no salt in it, and the burger was overcooked and not considering how we asked it to be ... just very mediocre food and expensive. I would NOT recommend eating there.
