Super location off season Park house was very good value 6CHF got almost 25 hours We got given a tourist card which gave us lots of free or reduced tickets Great place to hike all in all a great stay Supermarket coop very close .

Due to a knee and back problem, I had a very hard time to climb up the stairs. The room was very small. The bathroom couldn’t be any smaller: The toilet is not meant for left handed people and the shower door is for slim guests only, for it doesn’t open very wide. Unfortunately, the very good restaurant opened on the weekends, only.

The location is fantastic- one of the few hotels right on the lake. The rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows are comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. For 6 chf you can park in a nearby parking garage. The Arose card made for a great experience.

The sound proofing is horrible and I could hear phones vibrating from other rooms as well as talking and walking and doors shutting vibrated down through the halls. Also, it smelled like people were smoking inside the hotel each time I went into the hallway and shared spaces.

My room smelled like cigars unfortunately. Staff took care of it with a spray since it wasn’t possible to change rooms.

The quality of the room greatly exceeded the price. And the owner,who also works the reception, was very friendly and helpful.

Wish we had planned to stay longer.

Amazing location. Right by the lake, easy to walk from the train station or park. There is car charging in the cover carpark across the road.The staff were nice and helpful with check-in.They didn't mention the Arosa card but they did supply us with them one we asked. This gives you access to the cable cars and other discounts.The bed was very comfortable and beautiful views from the balcony.

The bathroom was very compact.

Location was excellent. Breakfast satisfactory.

Room hot at times. No air conditioning could have been an issue if the nights were any warmer.

The room was very small, with no table to sit at and no balcony, even though the rooms were all supposed to have a balcony...The bedside lamps were mounted too far away from the bed

The staff were very welcoming, the breakfast was very good with a wide range of local products on offer. The location was great very close to the station and cable car.

Great location right a the lake. Everything is decorated with love and the receptionist and housekeeping was really friendly. Parkade is next door and only costs Fr. 6.00 per day (Summer rate, not sure if it is the same in winter time). The breakfast buffet was not big but fresh and had all you need including various breads, eggs, fresh coffee, and fresh fruit salad. Server was attentive and well handling everything.

The servers on the patio were not attentive and seemed like they were more interested to look cool than to serve customers. Also when you enter the hotel there is a smoke smell from the bar (or staff room?) The room we were in was small which is okay for the price but there is really a lack of storage space for toiletries and small items like watches or wallets.

Very good location with comfortable walk from train station, even with a medical issue I have that restricts my walking ability. Very helpful and cheerful proprietor who checked us in and helped carry bags up one floor to the reception desk. Room with balcony had a great view and enjoyable to use. The complimentary Arosa Pass was great for using the cable car and a very enjoyable experience. Very good breakfast.

Better communication about paying our bill. Nothing was said when we checked in, then when we left around 10:15am there was no one at the reception desk/office, so we just left the key on the counter. Today we received an email from Booking.com that we hadn't paid our bill! I thought it was prepaid as are many of our stays, but no worries since Booking.com will charge the credit card we used for the booking.

Great location (within short walking distance to the train station, the gondola and the main street), friendly staff, breakfast included, good shower, restaurant/bar downstairs, room with a view to the mountains (top floor double room)

The room itself (double room) not practical (no hooks/shelves in the bathroom - nowhere to place towels or anything else like cosmetics), only one bedside table on one side, a single uncomfortable wooden chair (think balcony chair) next to the bed. Can get noisy as can hear doors slamming in the corridor.

- Breakfast was just awesome; every day. I was looking forward to it every day. - the view from the balcony was epic- quiet

- WiFi was bad / slow. - light in the room was not sufficient- a table was missing (enough room was there)

Delicious breakfast and convenient location close to ski lift and rental shops.

Only downside is the small bathroom without any shelf space, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

We found quite some dust on shelves, lamps etc.There is not one hook in the tiny bathroom to hang the towels, not even the one to dry your hands. This would mean no effort for the hotel but more comfort for the guests.The TV and the remote are old and work partially.

The hotel is very well located, a 5 min walk from the main station and area with 2 ski lifts. Also, there is a bus stop at the door that takes you to Hornli, another ski lift, in few minutes. While small, the room was ok: comfortable bed and pillows, closet for things, sockets near the bed, and a balcony. Breakfast is simple, but good variety. The shower powerful, but the area is tiny.

No main room light (only doorway and bedsides); Nowhere to write postcards; Wooden, folding, very uncomfortable chair; metal (noisy) shelves were too small; Dark-coloured light switches (even in the toilet and shower). No shelf or grab-handle in the shower. Maybe OK for younger people.
