Holiday Inn Express Madrid-Alcorcon By IHG

Everything is clean, good breakfast close to commercial center

Room was a good size and clean overall

It was very difficult to find the entrance no sign out by the entry road

The hotel, bedroom, bathroom are all clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Alcorcon Central, a major hub in public transportation.

Wonderful staff, good variety breakfast, good location

Thermostat wouldn't cool room.Cramped room.

Staff let us check in early at no cost. I speak only moderate level of Spanish, but the staff understood enough English to understand us. Location was close to major highway. Price was reasonable.

Room set up and cleanliness nice staff, good buffet breakfast.

Nothing in particular for us, but Uber drivers tend to complain about the exit route.

Location near my event and bed and bath was perfect.

Was small thing that I didn't like I mentioned to reception so everything will be perfect now

Very well connected to the city Easy to get in and out

School groups choose this hotel. It’s so noisy at 1 am - you’ve had a long day and want to sleep and the kids are running around shouting and banging on doors in the corridors

Staff were really friendly and helpful especially when there was an issue with the bath plug it was seen to immediately, staff also very helpful with providing local information, also proximity to Alcorcon Central train station and Tres Aguas Shopping Mall are a great bonus

Pillows in beds are a little on the firm side and made getting off to sleep a little difficult, Aircon in room was not working properly and only blew out warm air, luckily as it was April we were able to leave our window open to stay cool

Staff were very helpful and attended to a minor problem promptly.

Difficult to control the temperature in the room.

Location on the outskirts of madrid with access to shops and restaurants

My son woukd have liked a cooked breakfast - American or British / but he appreciated the tortilla

No cooked breakfast - unlike Holiday Inn express in U.K.

Great breakfast, excellent staff, room and bed.

Exceeded expectations. Great breakfast, super helpful and attentive front desk (thank you Anna and Rachel), very very nice room. Great value at competitive price. Lots of luggage stowing space and desks and chairs in room.

Had to leave window open to cool room. Thermostat pre-set to 20 deg C - too warm for sleeping. And integrated top sheet and heavy comforter - need a single top sheet unless it's possible to cool the room down.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. The location was perfect for us just off the A5 into Madrid and close to the junction for the M50 to continue our journey north. A 10 minute walk to the train/Metro station into Madrid.

Lots of fruit

No Irish tea. English tea is too weak

Proximity to San Jose Hospital

No on-site restaurantBed too firm and pillow uncomfortable

Clean, spacious and well-maintained rooms. Mine unexpectedly came with a little sofa that was very handy for packing/unpacking the suitcase. Breakfast includes decent coffee from a machine.

Breakfast could have included a few more warm items in addition to bacon and eggs. The sweet pastries that are typically in abundance were also 2/5.

The staff, very helpful

They advertise that they had air-conditioning. However, the air conditioning consisted of opening the window and the staff brought up a fan! That’s not my idea of air conditioning. They should comp the room because it was false advertising. Many people have mentioned this, but they have never done anything about it, the pillows are too hard!

Room met all our expectation and breakfast as also good.

Our checkin was prolonged as the room was not ready at 3pm in afternoon.
