Best Western RC Hotel

zero! boring location, low value, helpless stuff. they are working only to get salary, no service mind at all!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First, the location was completely unsuitable — it turned out to be in an industrial exhibition area, not at all what I expected. I also paid 30% extra for a balcony room, but the balcony faced a parking and loading area, offering no added value.Second and most serious, I was charged at the time of booking via Booking.com, but upon arrival, the hotel claimed they hadn’t received the payment and made me pay again. Despite showing proof of the original charge, the staff refused to help and told me to deal with Booking.com myself. I ended up paying twice for a one-night stay.At checkout, no one took responsibility. Both the hotel and Booking.com admitted they received my money — but neither refunded me. It's now been over a week, and I’ve written and called multiple times with no resolution. I am still waiting to get my money back for the duplicate charge.The complete lack of support, communication, and accountability from both the hotel and Booking.com is unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel, and I advise travelers to double-check payments and be cautious.

Very good breakfast, lots of activities to do, very friendly staff

Really uncomfortable beds. Felt like I was sleeping on an air mattress and the room was way to hot . It has a window that you could not open

I liked the activities avalebal and the really niceAnd comfortable beds and that that have maybe the best peanut butter in the world at the breakfast buffet Calvé Pindacas...

We wanted to have a stop on our way from Stockholm to Denmark and watch a hockey game. Perfect location, right next to HV71! Big enough room for 4 guys.

Even in October the room got quite warm and you can't open a window.

The location is great for activities at Elmia. There is good insulation from hallway noise in the room. The breakfast is very good and all staff I interacted with were friendly and professional.

When I arrived I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned at all. I was upgraded to a larger room which was nice. However all the wall lamps had burned out lightbulbs. There was a fan for use but the cord was broken so we couldn’t use it. The shower had mold in one corner. The beds are very wiggly. The mattress pad slips all around, it’s very annoying. There is a dimmer switch for the bathroom light but it didn’t work. There wasn’t an outlet at each bedside table, only one on the farthest side. It was very impractical.

Good breakfast. Silent and comfortable room. The location was great for us, a few minutes walking distance to our event in the Elmia area. Free parking close to the hotel. Serviceminded staff at the reception.

Scrambled eggs and bacon could have been a few degrees warmer at the breakfast. But it was not too bad.

Beautiful bathroom with heating floor (so amazing!).Nice room size, bed sheets very soft.Good breakfast and parking lot, both included in the room fare.

Bed was a bit too soft for my taste, pillow also quite small. But all good since we only stayed for one night.

Location for me was perfect. Parking on the back and easy entrance opened by the room card. Convenient bed, I slept very well. Pretty good breakfast.

A bit small room without any table but it’s not a problem with this budget.

Location

Inconsistencies when it comes to amenities in the room. On our first stay there were extra pillows, towels and hairdryer in the room but have to ask for all of these during the second stay about 2 weeks later. We didn’t get bottled shampoo during our first stay but got them during the second. Cleanliness is also another thing to be improved. Both times there were disgusting stains on the extra quilts (yes no covers to be found). Had wayyyy better buffet breakfast at other similar starred hotels so really is nothing to be desired unfortunately.

A big well planerad room for families with an extra bed for fifth person. Clean and comfortable. The kettle in the room.

The pillows were too small.

The hotels account on booking.com is hacked and I get daily spam messages (in app booking.com) and email to fill a form (with ofcourse bank details) to keep my reservation or it will be deleted. I talked to the hotel weeks before arrival but they never managed to fix it, and sounded ignorant when I spoke to them about it onsite. I stayed 2 nights and the restaurant were booked to business Christmas dinner both evenings and no space left to the hotel guests. They didn’t even have any bar food available in the bar, and it is not located near another restaurant (unless you take the car to Jönköping city) so we had to make a Foodora order. I think they should have optional food for other guests (I didn’t overnight with a child) if the restaurant is booked to business event.

Breakfast not labeled at all, what was labeled only in swedish, meats cheeses not labeled at all. Beds to soft, two single beds very near each other, near interogation room numbers in the breakfast. Car park to complicated to register you car every day, and if you come after 10pm you cannot register your car at all. To sum it up I asked for late checkout for two rroms was charged extra 1,400.00 SEK until 18:30. crads were disabled at 15:30!!!!! in the middle of having a shower. Staff completely non apologetic as I had to cut short the shower just like nothing happened.

It was so bad night. Tha bed was bad and horrible that the man seems som sleeps in hole . I could not sleep this night and The room was not clean .The bathroom har afew flies

Don’t stay here. Not reliable.

They called me in the evening when I was already on my way there at the arrival day and told me that they were closing the reception. They could not wait for my arrival although they had confirmed my booking and received my payment earlier the same day. I had told them about my late arrival at the time of the booking.

The long balkony, possibility to charge electric car for extra charge, satisfying breakfast, outdoor seating to enjoy a drink, quiet area for recreational activities

Lack of cats nearby - its a huge property, could have at least one company cat

Free parking, option to play bowling at the hotel, but at an expensive price.

Bed was soft. Single bed was about 80cm not enough wide. Double bed not provided even after asking for it while booking. Bowling was expensive 330sek for 2 persons for 1 hour.
