Vox Hotel

Great location near lots of shopping, restaurants, and attractions - wish we stayed longer. Rooms on the smaller side, but nice large bathrooms. Very comfortable and modern. Great breakfast and coffee.

The location, friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast.

The Standard room was smaller than expected for two people. There was no place to sit except on the bed.

The location, the service, the decor

The room was so tiny that ot felt like you jumped out of bed into the bathroom. The bed was also incredibly small. It's definitely a bit tight for 2 people but works fine for 1.

Room design is very thoughtful, from the position of the various light switches and charging points. Shelves were also really useful. I love the lake view! I also appreciated that the room could be brightly lit - very useful for being on my laptop.

There was no safe. Mattress was too soft.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the staff only apologized and said that when people are smoking outside, that it's normal if it gets in to the room..... we had to pay for another room to be able to sleep

Very nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and felt valuable. The breakfast was delicious. I really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.

Bathroom was tiny. Tooooooo small. No room to put medication or makeup stuff my wife uses. Also public parking lot was next door for about $5 Staff got me to pay about $30 for parking when it was self parking. Felt duped

Stayed in the tiny pens underground, cannot recommed. Very noisy at night and cramped. Gym apparently was not available even though the hotel lists one on their web pages.

Location was great, close to dining and shops, waterfront, staff was very friendly and view is nice.

Do NOT opt in for hotel parking. They have to manually open and close the garage for you everytime you LEAVE AND come in. As in, front desk has to stop what they're doing to open the garage. Facilities were bare minimum in room, no way to call front desk if you need anything. Beds are strange mattress toppers, and room wasn't super clean, not filthy but hair and dust was found upon entering thw first time. I opted out of housekeeping the rest of my stay. No safe in room and one morning the fire alarm went off for about an hour because "someone sprayed hairspray to close to it" but it was early and it was loud and non stop.

The view - Vattern Lake. The comfortable bedding. Location.I like the liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. Rare in Sweden. Usually only liquid soap.

Parking is away from hotel. Shower head too big for space. I stayed there before where there was a double shower.

The name of four star hotel and no good enough beds for two persons, No any view of outside because of no windows in the rooms, No tea bar, small fridge and safe ?

Location was great and the staff was very friendly!

The hotel did not meet my expectations for a four star hotel. It was not family friendly. We traveled with our baby and wanted to have dinner in the restaurant but they only had one baby chair which was occupied. I was not possible to open the windows in the room and the aircon was not able to cool the room. No minifridge, no kettle or iron in the rooms. Overall disappointed but probably a okay place to stay without the family for a short stay.

a little worn down. strange check out experience where I was accused of trying my luck to not pay for parking even so i was never asked during the online check in process. also i needed to justify myself wanting a company address on my invoice. get your checking in process in working order and don’t blame it on customers
