Pros +
- Great locationLovely breakfast
- We liked everything about this hotel. This is a remodeled boutique hotel which is maintained very well. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. We loved the breakfast. Every morning we could get fresh croissants and coffee with some cheese and cold cuts etc. They made sure guests feel warm hospitality. The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was, we believe, newly remodeled so it was new and clean! Also the location was superb. It's in the old town of Tours. Everything was within walking distance.
- Beautiful and elegant room . The welcome from the owners was exceptional, so personal and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and although on a busy pedestrian street the rooms had excellent sound proof windows. Breakfast is recommended in the stylish rooms on the ground floor.
Cons -
- It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to be able to make tea or coffee
- There was no elevator. We didn't mind but some guests would mind. We stayed on 3rd Floor (which was the top floor). We had to go 6 or 7 flights of stars to go up. Good exercise!
- No hairdryer and very basic room

It was in a great location and a good price
No hairdryer and very basic room
Location was super to visit old Tours Staff very gracious and helpful
First room was a single and bed really too small for average size adult. Better fit young adult. Switched to a double which was fine.Blankets are too heavy
Excellent location in the centre of historic Tours. Historic house. Very pleasant staff.
The climb to the third floor (my fault: I rashly refused help with the luggage). Slightly cramped room on the third floor, with few available electrical sockets
The room was lovely; very comfortable and very well kept. The soundproof windows were a brilliant detail.
Practically nothing. It was great! The only tiny ask would be a second mounted shower holder so that it's easier to have a stand up shower as well as a bath. But that was only a very minor thing.
Great location, very clean, and very quiet especially concerning the very central location.
The bed was comfy and the room was cleaned every day. Good location in the old town and walking distance to everything.
The room we got was very small. It could have used a bit more TLC (decoration- wise). The cleaners did a thorough job every day but they kept changing the towels and throwing away the little soap bars every day. Quite wasteful.
Comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom. Room cleaned every day.
I guess the small size of the room and bathroom is expected in Europe. It was perfect for one person.
In the historic cool part of town. The breakfast room was so modern and nice- great breakfast!
Rooms were a bit small but still nice and because it is near the square can be loud with people partying late
The hotel was well located to the train and bus. The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were modern, clean and comfortable.
The manager was wonderful, extremely helpful, served a great breakfast, great location in the heart of the city. The manager recommended some truly gourmet restaurants close by, excellent and friendly job!
No elevator but our room was only a few steps up
Great Location. Clean and comfortable beds.
no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Would have liked a shower head rather than hand held.
Excellent locationNice roomPleasant staffGood breakfast Good price
The hotel is owned or managed by a very accommodating couple. When the taxi to get us to the distant train station was 30’ late, the owner drove us himself to the train station.
Location was great, 20 minute walk from main station and on a side street with cafes and restaurants. We ate breakfast at hotel every morning. Lovely breakfast room and hotel very nicely decorated. The owners were extremely accommodating. My room was perfect, right size and Spotless. I felt very safe there. Would stay again.
Nothing really. Hotel I. Great location to everything, and then really quiet in your room so great night sleep
Location was excellent, the room was comfortable and stylish, beds comfortable, breakfast good. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We would definitely go again. The position of the room meant we had no view, but it also meant that it was quiet at night - more important for a decent night's sleep.
The lighting in the room could have been better, as there was limited natural light because of the enclosed location - no overhead light and needed to unplug a bedside light in order to plug in telephone charger overnight (for ready access to alarm!). A hairdryer would have been good. Finally, hanging space for damp towels. None of these were "deal-breakers" however, just desirable improvements.
Nice style, understated charm. Breakfast was excellent and very good value. Dining room was lovely. Would stay again
Great location in a beautiful city.
This isn’t really a hotel, it’s more a hostel. Check in time limited 3-8pm, room very basic, no water/tea/coffee, room on 4th floor with no lift.
