The Originals City, Hôtel La Terrasse, Tours Nord

The food at the resturant was wonderful. We arrived after a long drive to be greeted by really great quality french food.

The position is pretty dire! The rooms very small.

We always stay here when travelling back to Ireland, a great local hotel with friendly staff and a good location

The staff are exceptional, polite, interested in their customers, food and service could not be bettered, bed comfortable, room clean, and as we travel with our small dog the staff were brilliant, accommodated all our needs, were already booked to return.

To be honest, nothing.

Receptionist was super. He was very polite, professional and helpful. Dinner was good as was the restaurant service.

The property is tired and is in need of refurbishment. Booked a suit which was not to the standard expected. The main bedroom smelt of dampness. There is no aircon. The 'lounge area' was simple two bucket chairs, a table and a TV in very basic room, not a 'lounge' at all.

a room closer to entrance, a larger shower room ( mine was very small), and information on how to get out of the building at night when staff were not on site and somebody to answer the phone.

Easy to find, nice food, very comfy bed.

Only that there was no milk of any kind supplied on the “hospitality tray” but we were supplied with milk by the receptionist. We had the same problem on our outward journey at another Originals hotel in Chambray Lés Tours. Apparently the management is aware now of English requirements but not sure if this will be addressed!

Restaurant closed on a Friday?!?! Website states open Monday to Friday. Not the most picturesque location, but was chosen as a stop over. Small beds

Very small room for 3 people and 2 small dogs but adequate for overnight stop

It looked clean and smelt lovely. Bed sheets were as expected, fresh and clean. Room had air con, which was much needed as it was 30+ temp outside! The beds were very comfortable and we had a really food nights sleep.This was a last minute swap as we were supposed to be staying down the road at Premiere Classe Tours Nord, which we went to, walked into the room, stayed 20 minutes and left (we did pay dont worry, and didn't even bother to ask for a refund) as it was just grim and my boys wouldn't touch the walls, bedding or bathroom.We would definitely stay in this hotel again though, if we need a stop over again.

Location was good, we deliberately chose a hotel out of the centre, so we could park and travelling with a dog , staff were friendly and helpful

The room was clean and comfortable. We booked dinner which was generally good but not breakfast.Good provision for the pooch and the staff were great, especially the morning receptionist who did our checkout.

The prawns on the starter were still frozen and seemed as if the dish had been prepared and left in a very cold fridge.

Good location near to autoroute, secure parking, plenty of restaurants accessible by walking, excellent breakfast.

We arrived 5 min after the restaurant closed, having travelled 11 hrs. Exhausted and starving. Staff (mgr/chef/asst) all went out of their way to making us comfortable, fed and relaxed. Bravo!
