    • I think even basic or standard room provide some basic things in the room, we came so late and there is no shop open i ask if there i slippers available but they are short staff its only 1 guy on the reception. But good things he assist still but i hope novotel to take time to see the room
    • The front desk staff Gabriel was professional and welcoming. He arranged to get us an upgrade to a suite upon learning that we were celebrating a big anniversary! The location is great for hopping on a train or bus to visit a few of the chateaus for the day!
    • The room was big and clean. The beds, even the third one for the kid, were very comfortable. Staff was amazing and they even offered us complimentary parking.

    Cons -

    • AC was weak due to some law requirements.
    • The breakfast was quite limited in options.
    • I checked into the hotel after a 10 hour drive from England at around 15.00 hours. Went to the room for sleep while my wife took the children fir a walk and was woke up by constant drilling for 2 hours. The reception did not advise me of any maintenance. I was not very happy tbh.. very poor!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was clean. The location was great, being so close to the train station which meant that we weren't dragging our bags around.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We also requested a cot for our baby on 2 occasions but did not receive one.

    Good location and friendly staff

Stayed 2 nights and room was not cleaned

    5PangPosted on: 12-21-2024

Convenient location and good sized bedroom

Lack of amenities, even when requested for more hangers or even extra trash bags (to replace the full trash bins), service staff simply said no!

    Nice guy at reception.

3rd bed was no bed, just very very uncomfortable sofa. No way to sleep!Too loud next to the main station.

Staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. Parking was available on site and they reserved me a taller parking space

    Lift is very small!

    Location, rooms & restaurant staff

The hotel was understaffed and incompetently run. Accessing their car park was a nightmare as the button to open the entry gate was very well hidden! Not enough towels for 2 and desk staff were quite awkward about giving us any more. Tea and coffee items in room were never replenished. Only discovered the day before we arrived that restaurant was closed at weekend ( 2nights of a 3 night stay). I had searched with restaurant filter option on so this is down to Booking com’s website

Attentive and helpful restaurant staff, close proximity to railway station. Room was spacious, furnished with style and clean.

Cleaning lady put pressure on us to leave the room 30 minutes before regular check-out time. Accessing and exiting the hotel's garage was complicated. Synthetic bed linen were not comfortable and air conditioning control in the room did not have any impact on airflow and temperature. Internet connection was slow and interrupted.

The Hotel was very well located next to the train station, easy walking around the surrounding area to restaurants, coffee, bakeries. The room as clean, the staff were pleasant, we were able to drop our bags early and leave them secure for the day.

It had air conditioning, and location.

One elevator, always for service, one very rock like pillow, lack of hangers, non working toilet and very poor electrical outlets.

Clean modern and within walking distance to tours centre

    7NadiiaPosted on: 8-22-2024

Nice location, friendly stuff, good breakfast.

    The room wasn’t clean

The underground parking was a good thing as it is right in town

There was no restaurant on at the hotel so we had to go out and it wasn't easy to find anything decent . I would except a hotel to have food.

    7PaulaPosted on: 8-19-2024

Great location, fine rooms. Not noisy.

Would not consider this a four star hotel as it is a bit old. Carpets in a room need deep cleaning. One of the elevators did not work which caused long waiting time to get up. This was needed as we were staying with a baby and a stroller.

    5ConchaPosted on: 8-19-2024

    Clean .

The staff on the check out made me feel really uncomfortable and he threat me to give me a bad review if I complain about an issue I had about reservations

    8JudithPosted on: 8-8-2024

Excellent central location in Tours and not far off the autoroute. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Comfortable, quiet and well-appointed room. A great stopover on our journey south.

Parking is a bit of a challenge if you arrive later (especially if you have a roofbox and cannot access the underground parking) but staff were very helpful in directing us to alternative parking.

Lovely room and very comfortable bed, very clean, great shower, excellent location.
