Hotel Vip Praia

Everything!Easily the best hotel in Praia. I took the time to go to the other hotels during my search, and I'm happy to report VIP Praia is the best hotel in Praia by a long mile. Incredible!

Well trained staff, super clean hotel and great location.

The property has been updated and our stay there was very good; very clean and comfortable.The staff was exceptional and friendly at all times.

The restaurant for dinner was our only poor experience. They did not have enough staff members working. The room was 90% full of guests/tourists and only one young man taking orders,answering phone, serving and working as cashier. We were a group of 8 and it took almost two hours to get some of our dinner orders. 6 people were served partial plates while two waited another 38 minutes to get their plates.By the time the foods were brought in distant time frames, the entire dinner was cold.The food was tasty but would have been great if it had been served all at once and not cold.The breakfast service was exceptional unlike the dinner. Every breakfast item was fresh, tasty and hot.

I absolutely love everything about VIP Praia Hotel. From my incredible room with a spectacular view of the city, mountains, and sea, every moment felt special. This is definitely the place I’ll be staying whenever I visit the capital.The property itself is top-notch — the food, services, and staff exceeded all my expectations. I couldn’t ask for more. I wholeheartedly recommend VIP Praia Hotel to anyone visiting Praia, Cape Verde ??. Whether it’s your first time or a return trip, you won’t be disappointed!

People at the reception are very friendly, personal in general is very helpful

breakfast is very bad, food is old, sometimes rotten and hygiene is complete gone. Place is dark with a gym beside it so you can watch sweeting people. Only one elevator working, the other is broken. The place is dark in corridors. Maintenance is poor with serieus problems in bathrooms and curtains

The pool, the nice cooking, the helpful and kind girls at the main desk, especially Chiara and Ivone, as well as the very dedicated responsible of the poolbar, Rodrigo.

Two comfortable weeks in hotel Vippraia

Great staff, great breakfast and great service with personal requests

Location is good, as you can find great restaurants nearby

For the price, I do not see value for money in this hotel. Rooms were small and very basic. Restaurant was in a dark place, not well lit with lot of food smell staying inside the room.

Filter on hot tub needs cleaning.

Never again in my life

Rooms are renovated as face lift but nothing works. Aircon doesn’t work, TV cannot be controlled and room lights stays on without a switch to turn them off. Restaurant closes too early and not been notified.

Overpriced and dated hotel.

Old and dated, overpriced hotel. Everything is broken and barely working. Elevator is barely functioning. You only get one bottle of water and afterwards they charge you for it. Staff is bored and rooms are awful. Shower wasn't working either. Not a nice place.

The pool and location

The staff they are always trying to offer some type of work that has nothing to do with the hotel or what you need. They kept constantly asking what I do for a living, if I needed a tattoo and they knew someone, if I wanted to go on a ride on their car, touching my things, a member of the bar even came all the way down and got into my room without my permission with me in it and started touching my shoes and asking for money. The ac doesn’t work, the towels were dirty, the fridge didn’t work and every time I left the room, when I came back the door was open. I thing for more than a 100 euros a day this is UNNACCEPTABLE and the staff they don’t understand a NO. I kept saying to the guys to leave me alone but they kept coming. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
