Great hotel, very modern and clean. Very comfi bed, good breakfast and amazing pool on the rooftop

They wanted us to pay upon arrival which is unusual

The gym is small. The pool is at the top, and the wind makes the pool not comfortable to use

I’d like a better offer for breakfast options. Need to pay a half day for late check out, and most of flights are midnight. You have to pay.

The room and hotel were amazing! Beautiful room with ocean view, lots of space in the deluxe double premium. Modern decorations and bathroom. Large rooftop pool area with seating.

Breakfast items were not all put out and ready by 7am. Door was locked to restaurant until about 7:02. Breakfast staff was not very friendly and didn't explain where to find certain items.

Enjoyed the view from the dinning room.

There was no provision for tea/coffee. No mini toiletteries ie shower cap,toothpaste, toothbrush etc

My 2nd time at Perola, got an upgrade, thanks to the staff. Great Location, close to the Plateau, nice Interior, great breakfast variety - fantastic fruits, nice pool area, great time to relax.

good location, nice staff, good restaurant for breakfast and meals if wanted - unfortunately the menu only in portuguese

actually the pool area is nice but I missed the supply of towels: people lay/sit down with their wet bathing suits on the sun furnitures and leaves the mess

Staff was confidently unhelpful to even the simplest requests or recommandations (ex: where could we order food or go out to get some around here, as two women at night? We asked this while reception was not busy, we were the only clients then. Their answer "just look it up online on google or something") .Lots of time lost at both check-in and check-out, in the range of around 15 minutes for each. How can such hotel at such a range be so inefficient? Honestly other hotels with seemingly "lower" standards were much more welcoming and better stays in the city.

It is a very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. However, room smelled like cigarettes and breakfast offer could be improved.

I liked the hotel a lot. My room was spacious, with a large balcony with a view over the bay. The breakfast is well prepared and varied for all sorts of tastes. The restaurant is amazing and I recommend having grilled fresh fish. You can’t get it wrong.

The room was slightly noisy. I believe because it was very windy but it disturbed my sleep a bit.

Swimming pool is nice and offers some shade area to chill too. Breakfast pretty nice, best we've had in Cabo Verde. Staff nice, friendly and accomodating.Beds really confortable, shower top notch. Very good quality for the price.

Location, while very central, is still along a big road with few other POI's in the immediate vicinity. It's a bit of a walk both to Plato (like 10min) and to prainha (like 15min at least), but at least everything is within walking distance, including some good restaurants in the "embassies district".

Good location - Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Within walking distance for major sights like coastline, the city plateau and the new Government Neigborhood - but always use a taxi after dark. Or have diner in the hotel restaurant with good selection of food...

Lovely views from the room, the 6 the restaurant. Spacious room, and the windows floor to the ceiling with lots of light. Walking distance to the heart of Praia and to the beach. Restaurant food was good and they we will to serve at the pool.

Sadly, there are a number of issues with the hotel. There was no hot water when I checked in. They sent someone to look at the issue - he ran the tap for 10-15min, but the water was luke warm and stayed like that. The refillable toiletries were empty, I literally only had a soap to use. I came back to the hotel late at night and realised there were no duvets in the cupboard - literally a single sheet on the bed, I slept with my jacket on. I informed the reception at check in that my flight is very early and I need a packed breakfast. At check out, I was told I had used 2 waters of water from the muni bar - I did not! The only thing I did want was coffee (which they charged you for), but there were no capsules. ALL of drinks are stated on a report card, and unless you check what's there when you check in, you are likely to get charged.On top of it all, my packed breakfast was LITERALLY 4 pieces of cake, an apple, an orange, and a few grapes. No sandwiches, no drink. For the price they charge per night, I would avoid at all cost in the future!

The staff were expecting me at the time of checking in. This shows and awareness and good planning. I forgot Aloe Vera gel in the room fridge, which the staff kept safe for me when I returned. Friendly and polite, and willingness to help is key.
