La Maja Rica Hotel

Staff was friendly.

Free breakfast was only for one guest per room. Internet access limited to one device.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.

We had an excellent stay at La Maja Rica. Hotel is conveniently situated at the heart of Tarlac City along the highway. SM Mall is less than a mile away, where you have all the choices of good restaurants and groceries, Starbucks and ATM’s. On the streets, few steps away from the hotel on every direction, you will find more quality restaurants and fast foods like McDonalds and Jollibee. Yes, Cindy’s and Robinsons are next door. The Staff was superb. I meant everyone. They were very helpful, welcoming, courteous, trustworthy and service was exemplary. Check-in was easy and quick. Our room was very clean with comfortable bed and fresh linens. WiFi was fast and TV programs were good. Airconditioned room with small fridge and a hot water. Very homey! Newly cooked breakfasts were served everyday. Good selections of foods like fried fish/squid, sausage , tocino , beef tapa , adobo, corned beef, noodles, soup, cereals with garlic rice, eggs, bread, with hot coffee and juices. At the Veranda, you must try their sisig, calamari, laing with lechon kawali, tuna sashimi sushi while dining by the pool. Yes, a bottle of red wine and caramel macchiato were refreshing and zesty. Cheap laundry option, clothes folded and delivered to you. Overall, Staff was exemplary and services were at par. Our utmost thanks to you All. La Maja Rica was great. I’m looking forward of coming back and I highly recommend to anyone on your next stay.

Just fine. Long stay rate should be given lower rate instead of using a regular nightly rate.

Internet connection was bad. Unable to watch television most of my stay when I want too coz’ of poor internet /satellite connection. Hot water operation instruction incorrectly shown.

I was told I couldn’t order breakfast from the menu and that I had to eat from the breakfast in the dinning room. Which is confusing and disappointing because your menu says restaurant is open for orders.

Dismounting from the tub-bath area is quite a challenge. They are not designed for short people, there's a tendency of you slipping and having an accident. No complimentary slippers

It was where my family member's AUDAX event was being held so was happy there were still available rooms for me and my partner to stay in so that we can support the cyclists!

Connecting to the internet/WiFi was not easy at the start, had to call the front desk a few times as the voucher codes given to us did not match what was needed when we were prompted to enter them.

The location, easy access to where I need to go. Close the bus terminal, grocery, eating places.

I like my stay, staff are courteous and accommodating.Room 504, the faucet needs to be fixed because it’s loose. No worries, I still love my stay.

Outside reception, when it becomes wet from the rain. I almost slipped on the floor going outside our car, good thing the security guard was there to support me, he is very efficient.

Location and friendly staff.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress was way too firm and was painful to sleep on. Breakfast offering was fairly limited.

Excellent location, very helpful and kind staff. Beautiful skyline and view from the upper floors.

Breakfast could have more choices.

The room and the bathroom were OK.

They said us that the last order at the restaurant was at 9,00 pm. We ordered at 8,45, they had actually 1/3 of the menu, they served our dinner reluctantly and we must pay inmediatelly because they were clossing at 9,20pm. Next morning, the breakfast doesn’t have western options, not even fresh fruit.

The room is a bit old, not really maintained anymore in comparison to few years ago that i was there. You can also clearly hear the noise from the hallway and even the chicken and dogs from the neighbor residential area.

I booked Premier Superior Room and paid more than Php 4k per night but it was not worth it. I also stayed there last June 2024 but the rooms were better and price was reasonable (considering it was off season)Here are some reasons why I was disappointed:- Facilities are not well take care off (Chipped paints on the furnitures, Noisy exhaust fan in the restroom, Shower head adjustment knob was broken, LED lights are not the same tone and they don’t blend well with the room)- Air condition (I requested moved to another room because of the lights but the 2nd room’s AC was not that cold and it kept on stopping)- Breakfast buffet doesn’t even have fresh fruits, milk or cereals- No divider or bathroom curtain (water spills/flows on the floor)

The room is big and near with everything you need such as food, groceries.

The hotel is quite old.
