Val Soleil Hotel

We had a joining room with our children both rooms are very large with beautiful views of the dragon bridge. The roof top pool is also amazing and even a gym which we used. Location is excellent just a 2 minute walk to the water 30mins to the dragon bridge to see the show.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. The price was very reasonable and budget-friendly.

The water temperature could be a bit inconsistent at times, and the hair dryer felt quite basic. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Quite a lot unfortunately. The big one is having to pay for water. Of the four hotels I've stayed at in Vietnam, half have charged for water, half have not. It's not very expensive, but in a country where the water isn't safe to drink, it becomes a mandatory fee that isn't disclosed to you up front. Very disappointing. I wish that is where it ended, but there is more. The sheets on the bed were torn. The shower was terrible. Also, they were understaffed when we arrived, with one person doing 3 jobs. At this cost, these things just aren't acceptable.

Location very close to beach n Han market staff is very friendly and helpful space at the front hotel to load n unload luggage very convenient

Great staff and service. Immaculately clean room. Enjoyed having a dip and drink on the rooftop pool and then exploring the city.

Strategic location, close to food, entertainment, shopping and airport

Amazing hotel. Great value for money. Excellent breakfast options. Friendly staff. Comfortable large room. Rooftop infinite pool overlooking the dragon bridge was just breathtaking. Walking distance to the river and dragon bridge, walking street markets etc. Lovely lush garden cafe next door. So glad we chose this hotel.

The shower was terrible. Battled for hot water and the shower head placement was very far off. This is the only complaint, but an important one for me

Obviously the great rooftop infinity pool comes to mind first. Service is tops and I can only compliment all the staff that I have been in touch with.Breakfast waa also top notch with many choices and great service.Location is a highlight with views of the dragon bridge and plenty of eats and pubs near by. Cho Han market also only a few ninutes away.

The entrance with many stepsis a problem for people with mobility issues and heavy luggage.

The pool and the views were amazing. All the staff were so friendly, especially Alice who assisted me organise transport and went above and beyond.

Hotel near tail of dragon bridge with a beautiful infinity pool and bar up on the roof. Friendly staff and great breakfast spread.

I liked... breakfast - good variety. Pool was nice with a great view Location was spot on Disliked ...My room had a pigeons nest outside - I could literally see the whole family and all the bird poop associated with it Needs a bit of a touch up as it's feeling a bit tired Staff were a mixed bag some were excellent others were OkThey tried to push their drivers on us a lot when maybe a grab would have been easier

Great welcome upon arrival from Mr. Phung Thanh and super fast check-in. View from the room and especially the pool area was awesome. Room was clean and comfy. Location worked well for us. Staff were really friendly, and we especially appreciated the recommendations for local food. Also, Heart of Darkness has a new tap room just one block from the hotel inside of Wink Hotel, and there's a branch of the famous 4 P's Pizzeria one block in the opposite direction (be sure to go early there, as the queue gets quite long during dinner time).

The pillows were not good (way too big and puffy), but it was manageable. The breakfast was pretty weak, but I didn't much care about that to be honest. It's more interesting to have some local Pho for breakfast when visiting Vietnam anyway. The best one we found was just one block down the street called Pho Bac Hai (thanks again to Mr. Phung Thanh!)

Location. Rooftop and pool. Staff very friendly. Room clean, good beds. Air-conditioning is very cold. Lots of tv channels for foreigners.

Breakfast western style very poor. Only bread and jam and fruit. The rest was all Asian style, which I don't fancy for breakfast.
