Gio Bien 2 hotel

It was very Central a heartbeat from the beach surrounded by restaurants coffee houses and everything one wants. Super happy with my selection.

I cannot find anything I didn't like.

- Staff very nice and professional (same with the housekeepers) - Comfort - Cleanness - spacious room- location

Excellent location, great staff, very good room. Would definitely stay there again.

Really clean. The house keeping staff, girls, guys at the front desk and the maintenance man were all really friendly and did their jobs well. Location 1 block off the beach plus many shops, bars and restaurants all within a couple of blocks.

The location is very good, a lot of stores, convenience stores, restaurants and few steps from the beach.

The furniture and installations are quite old and outdated.

Wring info and photos. On booking says city view but in fact no windows. Only narrows glass facing another building in super close distance.

Convenient and quiet location, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes,walking distance to the beach. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful ( thanks to Linh and Phan),as well to the housekeeping staffs.Good value for the money.

No one will help you to carry your luggage at the front entrance stairs.

AC wasn’t working properly due to which the stay wasn’t comfortable.

The location is just 5mins away from My Khe beach and had lots of restaurants nearby.The bathroom had a bath tub which was nice and the room was very clean. Good value for money.

The air conditioner in the room wasn’t cooling properly, hence had to use the stand fan as well.

Awful experience

An awful experience. We checked in 23:00, only to find the receptionist sleeping at the desk - we were genuinely scared when I entered the hotel. I was told I had to pay in cash, despite having clearly marked that I’d pay by card (for obvious reasons: higher fees for international accounts and mistrust of local ATMs). Apparently, their card machine had stopped working the day we arrived. Later, we ended up wasting hours arguing with the so-called ‘manager’ about why we needed to pay by card as per our booking. Instead of trying to help, the staff were confrontational and completely unwilling to offer any solution - it felt like we were stuck in an endless argument. The level of English was quite poor and we ended up having to translate everything ourselves.As if that wasn’t enough, the room we got looked nothing like the 'deluxe room' we booked. We expected a view - we got a wall instead. The place was crawling with ants, the bathroom was old and stuffy, and when we asked to be moved to the room we actually paid for, we were brushed off with a “we’re fully booked” - no attempt to check, no apology.The only (sort of) redeeming factor was that they agreed to keep our luggage for three hours - though they just dumped it in a common area next to reception. All in all, this was an exhausting, frustrating ordeal. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

The pictures are way more nicer than it is in reality. I had to change rooms 3 times for different reasons - first the view was straight into the wall with lots of aircons, second time it was so noisy, I couldnt sleep till 4am cause there was a party somewhere. Overall - noisy, you can hear neighbours very clearly, outside noice from the street, even though in the description it says - soundproof - it is not. Its not very clean... and everything is old.The staff was very helpful and nice - that is the only positive thing about that hotel. Probably location was very good, thats it. I know it is cheap, but I wouldnt stay there again.

Normal place near to beaches and all shops. Value for money. Nothing great. But doesn’t disappoint.

Washroom water got some kind of smell. But things where clean.

Employees are smily and agreeable. Their English is limited, but I used Papago for heavier stuff. Only a 3-min walk from the beach.For the price, it's great value.

The room was small, which was surprising for a 3-person room but I didn't care about that, being my myself. The furniture is a bit worn out and the fridge was dirty. The room as a whole could benefit from a good spring clean.

If you’re looking for affordable accomodation this place is great. Staff are kind, location great and the rooms are very clean. (We stayed at a “luxury” hotel in Danang and found Gio Bien to be cleaner. We rented a scooter during our stay and had no issues with complimentary parking. TV had 3 English channels - this is decent. Most hotels including luxury have no English channels.

No in house amenities such as a pool or gym but beach is a skip jump and a hop away. No safe in room Sometimes hot water doesn’t get very hot, but still okay.

My favourite place to stay in Da Nang, the staff are all so lovely, it’s clean, close to the beach, good wifi, hot water, great location, I’ll definitely be back.

At first, I wanted to put a lower rating, because the first room faced the wall of the neighboring house with noisy air conditioners.The first room was very damp, the furniture was in poor condition, nails were sticking out of the closet, I tore my clothes, but after changing rooms it was better, only the lock on the front door did not work, I quickly fixed it.Good location, close to the beach and cafes.

Old furniture, you can smoke in the hallway because of this there is a smell everywhere.There are no free outlets, I used a TV outlet.The price-quality does not match.

Mosquitoes in room - door left open on arrival. Ac next door very loud making it difficult to sleep

The room was very large and nice, and the location was excellent. Very clean and no noise from the street.

The beds were very hard. The 3 small windows only looked out onto a wall.
