Sekong Da Nang Hotel

Location

Dirty hotel. Water damage on the wall and mold in the bathroom. Pillow has red stains on them. Not sure if they are blood or sweat stains. They smells like old towel. I had to push all my luggage on my own.

Loved the ocean and city view and the fact it is very close to the beach. The room was spacious and clean even though the design looks old and classic. The breakfast buffet also offered a wide variety of food.

The included breakfast buffet was quite good. Good location near the beach.

I was on the 11th floor and the 12th was a conference room. There was a convention of some sort going on for my whole stay and there was quite a bit of noise from above. Only during the day at least.

Hotel is old and tired especially common areas and elevators need a good refresh and clean. Large amount of jars of ginseng in the breakfast room was overwhelming.

No swimming pool, no normal drinking water, Rooms are very old and all the equipment in the rooms are old and about to damage

Stable internet even at 11st floor. Very clean room, daily cleaning, spotless bed linen, the room all dry, no smells no mold. 2 free water bottle per day. I have tried before other hotels in Da Nang, this one I have even extended my stay with 1+ more week ! My room had a sea view, I highly recommend it, it's spectacular. Superb location, just across Malibu CLB and public beach. In December the swimming current cordon is in front of hotel so no need to walk for km to be able to go in water. Lovely, smiling staff and a plentiful and very varied breakfast and to be able to say that after staying 14 days i think it says a lot. They have a fresh Pho buffet, eggs - bar with the most kind and professional lady-chef running the breakfast action. Freshly squeezed guava and other fruits juice, lots of main dishes. I believe for such a great front beach location, price, breakfast quality and overall staff engagements , you could hardly find a better place. I will definitely return.

Ideally cater for vegetarians - It would be great to increase the options and make it know what is available at the hot counter. Also useful to separate vegetarian with a stronger divider such that there is no mixing of cutlery! This is purely to avoid contamination by guests - not the hotel! The breakfast is fantastic for those that are not vegetarians. Veg choices are there - but not as extensive!

We left the hotel on our 2nd day even if we booked for 3 nights because we are not comfortable of the hotel itself

The lobby smells bad, the receptionist is not considerate of the request, the room is old, over all the hotel is old and not clean.

It was adequate. No big problems. The bellman was very nice and helpful and proactive.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, but weren’t labeled and was mostly cold. The front desk staff seemed annoyed when you asked questions. The property itself was run down/beaten up, photos didn’t match.

This so-called “4-star” hotel is an absolute joke. The place is old, dirty, and downright disgusting. Nothing about it feels even remotely close to four stars — I’ve stayed in budget hostels that were cleaner and more functional than this dump.There was no hot water, and the water pressure was basically nonexistent. The room felt neglected and worn out, like no one here has bothered to maintain anything in years. The doors had no security at all — no latch, no chain, nothing to actually keep the room locked from the inside. Late at night, there were strange men wandering the hallways, acting suspicious, and somehow the hotel didn’t care in the slightest when I mentioned it.The regular staff were polite, and honestly they’re the only decent thing about this place. But the management? Horrible. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and shockingly disrespectful. When I asked for a refund due to the clear scam-level conditions of the hotel, they argued with me over WhatsApp in the most uneducated, confrontational way possible. After all that back-and-forth, they only refunded me 50%, which was insulting considering the state of the place.This hotel is a disgrace. Overpriced, unsafe, dirty, and run by management that clearly doesn’t care about guests, safety, or basic standards. Avoid this place at all costs. It should be listed as a 1-star property, if that.

Furniture felt a bit old and worn.No ironing facility in the room, even though it was a paid service in the hotel.No restaurant on-site, so I had to go to nearby hotels just to get a coffee.The room’s window was dirty, which made it hard to enjoy the view.

Good quality linen, furnishings. Very clean, nice toiletries provided. Complimentary buffet breakfast with limited choice for vegetarians.

The family 360 beach view room is great! ? the room is so spacious. I love it so much. The food was great too.

The uneven pain of the room 702. My suggestion is to fix it because it is not good to take a photo with those pains below every sides of the wall and the flooring pain of your woods. So better to repaint it.

It’s close to the beach, just beach front and have convenient store next to the hotel

When I book the room via booking the price is different when I paid at the reception. Because I choose to pay by cash. Maybe better to pay online.

We loved our sea view room with a nice, modern bathroom and comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the location was fabulous, right across the street from the beach and within a short walk of numerous convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. Staff were very helpful in recommending and booking tours and transportation for us. Overall, an exceptional value.

The in-room refrigerator did not work, but it wasn’t too concerning. We didn’t even mention it to the staff.
