We stayed at Kova Diamond Hotel from 1st Jan to 6th Jan. Our initial booking was until 5th Jan, but we enjoyed Da Nang so much that we extended our stay by one more day, which reflects how comfortable our experience was.The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. We could see the Son Tra mountains with the Lady Buddha as well as Da Nang beach, which made the stay very relaxing.A big plus was the convenience of the location. There are two shops right beside the hotel that are open 24 hours, which is extremely helpful. The Grab cab fare to and from Dragon Bridge was only around 30–40k VND, and the hotel is also close to the An Thuong area, just about a 1 km walk.The staff was polite and helpful, and the pricing was very reasonable compared to other beachside hotels nearby. Another thing we appreciated was that no security deposit was required, and card payments were accepted (with a 3% charge), which made things very easy.Overall, it was a great value-for-money stay in Da Nang. We would definitely recommend Kova Diamond Hotel and would happily stay here again.

There was no microwave in the room, due to which you can't cook any instant food which is easily doable if we had microwave.

Towels, and bed linens were old and showed wear and damage . Ie holes and stains Shower water splashed/ drained towards toilet area . Entrance doors were old and had large gaps all around so noise from people coming and going in the corridor was loud.

The staff are AMAZING!!! Always smiling and happy to help. We checked in late and went to our room and it had a very heavy mildew smell. We stayed the night because it was late and were hoping it would dissipate. Needless to say, it did not but they were happy enough to get us a new room. It was better, still a slight mildew smell but that is Vietnam by the beach! The location couldn't be better!! It is a few short steps from the beach! Everything is walkable, which is very important to us. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options from local Vietnamese to some western eats. There is something for everyone. We were here for 2 weeks so by the last day we were ready for a change. But the staff at the breakfast are so lovely!! Always smiling, eager to help, definitely started the day right!The pool/gym do not look like the pictures, at least the gym doesn't. If you are looking for a decent gym, I would not recommend this place. If you are looking for a bougie place, continue looking, this is not it. But, it is clean, great people and amazing location.Make sure to check your room description carefully, a lot of the rooms DO NOT have a window. We booked the family room which had 2 beds and a window. We are only 2 people but need some space because we were staying long. Luckily, we did, the smaller room has no window. May not be a deal breaker for some but for me it 100% is. So as always, read the descriptions!I will definitely stay here again when I return to DaNang.

5 nights in this hotel, the house keeping staff did not change my sheets at all, including do not put the tea/coffee on my desk (when i ask, she gave it to me), they also not broming/cleaning my floor, it was only done day two, then they do not clean it again.

Nice view. There was parking lot view apart of it though. Hot shower. Big room. Clean. Friendly staff. Close to the beach. Nice bed.

The location was perfect and the pool and its view were amazing! The room itself is a lot smaller than what the pictures portray but for the price I’m not complaining and the beds were very comfortable as well as the bathroom being clean

Although the morning buffet was delicious, it caters to Asian people more or less. The coffee was not all that pleasant (to me) and the only breakfast type food options were the eggs and bread. I don’t want to be biased because I am American and is used to a “sausage, grits and eggs” type of breakfast style. Again, the food was very flavorful and good!

I hated the guest room because it had no views to the outside properties. No ventilation. My Guest room smelled of urine. The supervisor for housekeeping came to the room, and spent 5 minutes changing the bed linen and I observed how she instructed a worker to mop the floor without sweeping the dirt on the floor, plus they never disinfected the room or surfaces. I complained of a urine odor, and they brought a small bottle of air freshener and sprayed into the air. They spent less than 10 minutes cleaning the room. I will choose wisely on my next vacation, but never again will I use Booking.com. Reason: Falsely Advertising hotel rooms that are in poor condition, Like Nicely Hotel in Ho Chi Min City, and Kova as having great window views. All false. ?

The bathroom was a bit small with no shower door and a leak from the bum gun, so we had water on the bathroom floor all of the time.

Great location for the price. Staff tries hard to make your stay enjoyable. They have to work with what they have. Rooftop pool was clean. Had a few weights to toss around.

We spent 9 nights and never got the bedding changed. Luckily we spent 5 nights in other resorts. Daily cleaning was every 3 days and all they did was trash, refill water and coffee and sweep floors. Door to room has 3/4” gaps around the frame. No sound proofing at all. Was remodeled somewhat recently, but not very well. Water lines leak.

The location was accessible to beach, restaurants and convenience stores.

The staff can’t communicate well in english. However the manager, Ms. Joy speaks well.

I like where the hotel is located.Receptionist and room cleaning staff is quite helpful too.

The interior look quite old, but still acceptable and comfy. Although I book a room with a seaview, but felt quite disappointed as the glass panel is very dirty on the outside and hence spoiled the good view.

Location was good, we enjoyed the rooftop pool and got a lot of use out of the gym. The room was spacious and clean although it didn’t have a window. We were given water each day and there was shampoo, body wash and body lotion in the room to use.

Not the hotels fault, but our floor was also used by a large family/tour group who were very loud throughout our stay, slamming doors, talking loudly and constantly leaving their doors open and shouting across to eachother in the hallway. The rooms are not soundproof so bring earplugs if you want a good nights sleep.The breakfast, as many reviews have said, doesn’t necessarily cater to westerners so depends on your taste.While our room was cleaned during our stay, we weren’t given any additional toilet roll - thankfully we did have our own we had bought previously but otherwise we would have been a bit stuck.

Everything was perfect!They just need to improve the breakfast:There was no variety at all apart from Asian food. The only option was to ask for an omelette every morning, coffee, and bread (fruit was also very, very limited).Another downside was the mess in the dining area towards the end of breakfast time, and some guests (I believe Chinese) who were quite noisy everywhere. But of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault if some guests aren’t civilised.
