The compressor unit is very noisy! ??? I couldn't sleep until my last day. I even asked the staff about it, and they promised to do something, but nothing happened. The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The light in the bathroom was not working, it was dark.?‍♂️ The furniture is a bit old, is not in the hotel standard ?‍♂️

So nice stay with such cool, supportive, friendly and war, staff here. Good location with several steps to the riverside and 5min ride to the city centre. Spacious room with nice view to the city and river in front of the hotel!

Friendly and enthusiastic staff that supported us a lot in our stay here. Hotel location is great 'cause it's not too far away from the city centre and it's also just right in front of the river, which provides us a river view from our room!

I felt lucky to pick the right hotel to stay here with super friendly, and helpful staff. They provided me with a free entry to their cooking class at their head property in the city centre that's about 2km away, and that's so meaningful and funny to attend in.

Our stay at this hotel was an excellent experience. The staff were friendly, approachable, and spoke English well, so we never had any issues communicating with them from check-in to checkout. The room was impressive for its price, especially considering its convenient location in the city center near the Han River.The housekeeping team consistently cleaned our room every day and provided complimentary bottled water and tea bags, which we truly appreciated. The room appliances were all available and in good working condition.Overall, this is one of the best hotels we stayed at during our vacation in Da Nang. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and affordable accommodation in the city.

When arrived, we were told that our reservation has been canceled because I did not response to their text message. They did not have any other available room for us. We already confirmed booking via booking.com, why do we have to confirm again via text?

The whole property is like made of cheap material and left abandoned. The room was definitely not on the clean side, it was also full of tiny ants that went all over our handbags. I informed them and they swiped the place up but obviously the ants came back. The location is not ideal either, only for a good view. The staff were okay, not really approachable but not rude or anything. All in all, I wouldn't stay there again.

Very comfortable bed and AC gets very cold. Mostly clean throughout the room. The location is great if you're looking to get away from the beach front. Proper bidet in the washroom was a nice bonus. Staff were very friendly and overall it was a good experience.

Shower was always cold water even after running it for 10 minutes. The roof top was highly unusual with an unused restaurant doubling as a staff/laundry room. The view from the roof was nice at night, but there were virtually no chairs or way to comfortably utilize it.

I wish they had told us beforehand that we have to put the hot water on & wait for 15min.We had to catch a flight and lost some precious time because of this, so please know this if you book!^^ Nothing big but still important

lI had a great stay at Star City Riverside Hotel! The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. In particular, the hotel's location was very convenient, close to the center and easy to get to the attractions.Delicious breakfast with many options, from local to European dishes. The housekeeping service was also very attentive, ensuring the space was always comfortable

Great room, phenomenal staff! It's outside of the really busy spots so it is quiet. But, if you want a lot of restaurants and shopping right outside your door. This isn't the place. There's a WinMart, KBBQ, a seafood place and a cafe close. Everything else take a Grab, it's inexpensive and worth the peace and quiet. You get to watch the river boats from river view rooms. You can kinda hear the hotel with the club on the roof, but not loud at all. If I had the AC on it would muffle the noise. And they provide dehumidifiers! Game changer! Just make sure you empty it often and definitely before bed because the full alarm is not subtle. I extended my stay because I was so happy there. Wifi worked well for daily scrolling, don't know about work stuff as I don't have a WFH gig. I found local spots to hang out at and just have super inexpensive not catered to tourist foods. And honestly having a beer with the locals was way fun. They're working on the roof, so no real chill spot just yet. But the views are still there. You'll also see a local take his coconut boat out every day and that was fascinating! I will stay there again someday.

Bed was comfortable and towels were nice, as was the shower; however, the hot water barely lasted long enough for two quick showers.

We booked and paid for three nights here, but left after one night.The room was rundown and shabby.But my biggest concern was that the deadbolt lock didn’t work on the door. Our room was close to the outside stairway, which was not locked and did not require a key to enter. It may or may not have been monitored by a security camera, but it seemed that anyone could have easily walked into the building from the street. As a result, I never felt completely comfortable there and didn’t sleep well.After several weeks of traveling through Cambodia and Vietnam, we were accustomed to hotels with much better upkeep at a similar price point; this place did not live up to the standards of other places we’ve stayed.If you’re just looking for a place for one night, this hotel might be ok for you. Unfortunately, I found it lacking basic security measures, shabby, and rundown, and no longer reflective of the photos on Booking.com.

Clean, comfortable and near to the river. Its very comfy and the AC is quite cold. Love it. Staff are nice and friendly. They are flexible as well, they let me check in earlier ? I truly appreciate their flexibility

There’s a particular smell in the bathroom, although it’s clean. I just close the door so it wont smells in the room.
