MiAn Hotel Danang - Infinity Pool

Price, location, staff and room space.

The room was nice and quiet. I walked to the beach. There is a grocery-like store across the street. Good coffee nearby. The staff gave me good advice about money exchange and places to eat. The bed was typical to the region, but I like firm beds. I would stay here again. I was there 1 night and it rained, so I did not see the pool. Cannot comment on how good or bad the pool is.

The MiAn is an exceptional value. The facilities are spotless, the rooms are huge with nice natural light, comfy beds and pillows, the bathroom has plenty of water pressure and hot water, they provide coffee, tea, and drinking water AND room cleaning every day! Even though it's on a busy road, it is extremely quiet. The rooftop pool and deck is a lovely place to relax during the day and in the evenings. It's in a very convenient location for the beach and restaurants, and the dragon bridge over the river. The WiFi is reliable and fast also. The staff is always friendly and smiling! Would happily return and highly recommend!

Bathroom could have been cleaned better, mold in the grout and the bath fan hadn't been cleaned in a while. At check in was told they only took cash but later saw they accepted CC as payment.

It is located right between the beach and the dragon bridge. The tower has rooms with a small window but a great view. The rooms are simple, big and very comfortable. It’s clean and the staff friendly.

They keep the bathroom downstairs open, as a result there is a bad odor always at the reception. It’s a detail easy to fix and pay attention to.

Beautiful rooms and an amazing value! Staff are very kind and helpful. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants.

1. No power point in the bathroom, so electric toothbrush, shaver, hair dryer all have to stay in the kitchen. 2. It would be trivial to install a proper full-length mirror. The mirror in the desk is only for putting on makeup.

This splendid hotel was such a bargain! We loved the rooftop pool with its stunning views. The staff was always friendly as well. The location was pretty good; although far from the beach, it was walkable to many good restauarants.

The value for money was really good. The place was clean, the room was big enough, sheets were nice-smelling, no weird spots or anything. No cockroaches, ants or anything. Noise level from outside noticable but not bad, at least with the window closed. Pool area pleasant and water, while not super clean, clean enough for me. The blue stuff someone else mentioned that was poured into the water is pool cleaner, though I could not verify whether it was chlorine or something else, due to communication difficulties. Staff was mostly friendly. When a pipe was leaking in the bathroom, leaving wet spots on the floor, it was fixed quickly. I could also borrow a bowl from the "restaurant" floor, though no spoon. Location in the middle between beach (about 10-12min) and promenade (10min)/city center (20min), making both walkable but the area itself did not have that many options for food or activities. There is a 24h supermarket that has all the basics across the (big) street, also a spa, though comparatively pricey. Supposedly there are buses running but I did not see a single one in the whole time I was there and in the full hour I spent at a bus stop waiting for one, that staff claimed ran every 10-15min, so your guess is as good as mine for that.

Communication can be a bit difficult and staff is on a learning curve. It's Vietnam, but it is also a hotel, so a certain level of English ability could be expected. But in 99% of the exchanges I had to bring out the translator, even for easy inquiries, like about soap. When I could not understand the question of the staff, due to pronunciation, they seemed to get somewhat annoyed. At some point I stopped asking them for support with things like money exchange or information about public transport, since they could not give an answer or, in one instance, gave me wrong information. Pre-arrival it was very difficult to receive info about pick-up and not even basic info was volunteered.Other than that, there were some small things that could be improved:The room door would only close properly if you forcefully pulled, not to say slammed, it shut. Otherwise it would beep and flash red.Soundproofing: I guess it depends what you compare it to, but you could hear the guests from other rooms speaking, even if you both were in your own rooms and they were not adjacent. You can also hear it very well, if someone above you moves chairs around.Pool: All but one time I had to go find someone to put up the parasols at the pool side. Considering this is a rooftop pool with zero other shade, it could be assumed that the parasols are automatically set-up in the morning, leaving guests to unfurl them when needed. On arrival, I asked two separate staff about the opening hours. I was told it was open 24h. Two days before I left, a sign was attached to the wall, which defined opening hours as 7-9 /16-19. I do not know how well this was enforced, (did not go afterwards anymore), but if these were to be the opening hours, then during my stay, I basically would have never been able to use the pool, which means the main reason for booking this hotel would be gone.The booking.

Very attentive personnel. Climate control in the rooms was really good. Room is very cozy with a comfortable bed and modern TV. A rooftop pool is also a great addition to my vacation.

There were no restaurant operating in the hotel during my stay as you can see on the photos.

Less than 10 minute walk from Dragon Bridge/night market on one side and the beach on the other. This is a no frills hotel so excellent if you're looking for just a clean place to sleep.The staff were really great, especially Bay, even when I had to cut my stay short.

A lot of construction around the property so no where close/convenient for coffee or breakfast.

Very comfortable. Nice, super clean room, strong and quiet AC, comfy mattress and bedding. The staff are terrific, kind, helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect for me with a short walk to the beach and river, 24 hour market across the street, and lots of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Great location and thanks to app based taxis everything is easy to reach. Location is easy to find. There is a 24/7 convenience store across the road, ladies selling fresh juices, soup, a coffee shop. Room was clean and cleaned well and it was quiet. Staff was great 24/7. I managed just fine with English with staff too. And when my check in was delayed a bit staff member gave me tour of the hotel and surroundings. I liked the bench and table in the room too, they came handy as I was keeping my shopping organized. Plenty of electrical outlets too that were not like often in Thailand hotels all loose.

Well due to nature of buildings in Vietnam the swimming pool was a meh. Also has dangerous weird design element under water, a metal bar. And no shower at the pool. Also the door to room was honestly in bad condition with light shining through.
