The staff were very helpful especially this 1 receptionist I met, her name was Loan, she even knew some English and was able to communicate with me easily. She was very helpful and friendly!

Very nice room (801B) overlooking a garden towards the beach. Pool was magnificent!!! Breakfast excellent, and restaurant staff were friendly. Beach area was very clean, and swimming area was well marked. Several excellent dining options within walking distance outside of the Retreat.

Hotel did not provide currency exchange, nor change larger to smaller denominations — so future guests should be prepared for that.Although the Retreat has bicycles for guest use, they did not stipulate that guests could not use them outside of the Retreat — where the best areas to cycle are. We only were told that on Day 2, after we had ridden into the local community and along the lagoon the day before. We were however able to convince management that we were prepared to take the risk of riding outside the Retreat, so it really is not their responsibility, to which they reluctantly agreed and so we rode into Lang Co and along the lagoon once again. In other words, we did not take “No” for an answer.The beach area was nicely kept, however future guests should be aware that there are very few chairs and umbrellas set up, so seeking shade could be a challenge.

bit of a long journey from the airport but well worth it !

The staff tried their best to make us comfortable when I was very sick with food poisoning. Unfortunately they were very intrusive walking into our villa un announced multiple times, constant calling on the phone when I was trying to rest. They were very sweet but no boundaries and unfortunately the stay away a nightmare start to finish.

Knew we were in trouble when there were only 5 other guests on the entire resort. The grounds were dirty. Masks, bottles, bottle caps strewn everywhere. Filthy beach with no effort to clean their section beachfront. No beach chairs pulled up for use, they were all up a small bluff and out of reach? Private room pools all in bad repair. After switching rooms because of our view of wire fence and burning trash next door, The hot water didn’t work in our new room which required more employees in and out for an hour. The room service ordering system didn’t work on the tv so they sent someone to our who spoke absolutely zero English or even translate me pouting at the menu, who took 10 minutes to take our order. After the “French toast” and eggs we ordered arrived, it was literally…literally 4 pieces of uncooked dry bread on a plate and 4 eggs. Not even butter jam or jelly let alone maple syrup that we ordered. I called to let them know, so now a food and beverage manager had to show up to tell us French toast was unavailable. I pointed to the eggs and the toast and said that’s the ingredients right there. How is it not available? Reaching a dead end we ordered a hamburger at 9:30 am. There is an ugly wire fence between all beachfront villas and the beach so not only are you staring at it, you cannot access the beach without walking a hundred yards around it in some cases. The landscaping was in horrible repair with trees cut bluntly off 10’ up or so. No pride in the ground maintenance whatsoever. It also smelled of burning trash. It was a really bad scene and couldn’t leave soon enough. It was one of the worse hospitality experiences I’ve had. We had travel for leisure no less than 15 times a year and this was bad bad. We stayed one of our 4 nights scheduled and traveled while having a 103 degree temperature just to get away from this place. The front desk staff was very, very kind.

The villa was spacious, the private pool was amazing, the staff was fantastic and very helpful and polite! Thank you so much Khanh!The food was also great! Morning buffet was plentiful and delicious. The evening menu was also very good even the western dishes tasted great even though we mostly ordered Vietnamese food.

- A bit far from everything, but it’s good if you are searching for a peaceful place - the Gym is there just formality, very under equipped, so don’t expect to be able to work out

Located on the beach absolute beach front. Lovely villa with outdoor shower.

Big villa. Private beach. Beautiful scenery with high mountain on the back and blue ocean in the front. It's cloudy almost all day time, not much worry about sun burn.

Lengthy check in. Noisy when other groups have pool party. The room was not properly cleaned up when we check in. Staffs are OK but not skillful like those in Danang or Hoi An.

My wife and I visited Lang Co Bay for a week to celebrate our anniversary and this is one of the best places we have ever visited. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly and were always on hand to answer questions. It is a beautiful new resort with gorgeous villas and wonderful facilities. We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa with private pool and ocean view, and loved every minute. The villa was spacious and very comfortable, and we spent many hours in the pool looking out onto the deserted golden sands. The meals were also of high quality, with a wide selection at the breakfast buffet and a good choice of Vietnamese set menus or western options for lunch and dinner.

The clean beach and fresh air. Our villa is really large. Also the staffs were really nice. It's near many restaurants, just walk out and cross the road.

The keycard didn't work so that we had to call for fixing. The staffs were really nice to us, and it was fixed right away, but not what I expected with such a price.The villa is big, but its kitchen almost had nothing. It would be nice if the restaurant has more dishes, and the bar close time was not 9pm.

Beautiful beach. Kept clean and lovely hammocks and tables in the hotel garden.

Poor management. There are no chairs or tables on the balconies so you have to sit on the floor. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at in a month of travelling in Vietnam. The staff weren’t interested or were over worked. It took forty minutes to get a menu at the pool side bar. When the food did arrive it was stone cold. We booked tennis but gave up waiting after twenty minutes and nobody came to unlock the court. Go stay at pilgrimage village instead!

It was a rainy day but the location is nice. Mountains and beach together. Also some nice local seafood restaurants near the hotel (need taxi or car). Ask the receptionist for a recommendation

Beautiful luxury retreat situated along fantastic beach. We had a huge private pool villa and the pool is really big and well maintained. Polite and helpfull staff. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of variety. Restaurant only has a set menu in the evening, but some restaurants to be found towards the other side of the bay (approx 5 min walk). Bring cash in advance - only 1 ATM in Lang Co and it is hard to find (and not clearly marked om Google maps)

We absolutely loved this resort. The rooms, the gardens, pools, restaurant, and the beach are all beautiful. The staff here are so kind and helpful and made this place very special. Clara from the restaurant gave us lessons on making Vietnamese coffee and on local food and also brought trays of food and drink to my room on a couple of days when I was sick. Everyone was so kind and caring. We booked a few nights here to relax after a busy itinerary of sight seeing in Vietnam and it was perfect. We were really sad to leave and will definitely return.

Great place to retreat. The staff were all wonderful, especially the massage and spa team. Highly recommend getting a massage here!
