Location, food, friendly staff

I loved the hotel for my family; our spacious suite was wonderful, bed room and living room plus privilege lounge for apero champagne and breakfast buffet… the food in the Vietnam Veranda was delicious!!

The check in was not thorough about the extra bed. The spa therapist was not good.

The much vaunted view of the dragon bridge was poir. At a 70 degree angle through very dirty windows. Inaccurate description.

The club lounge and the staff there were excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient , helpful. The reception staff responded to requests and resolved issues promptly and with polite efficiency. The New Year’s Eve dinner was superb, with a wide selection of delicious buffet food and it was very good value for money. We were moved to a suite for our last two nights , which was beautiful, with fabulous views of the river

The hotel was advertised on Booking.com as a five star hotel, but I felt our room was not what I expected from 5 star. The furniture was scratched and dated. The only drinking glasses available were in the bathroom so we had to request extra glasses .I was surprised at the limited supply of toiletries- no body lotion (although this was provided in the suite)We had to have an engineer to fix the television every day as it either wouldn’t work, or went off altogether while we were watching it. On our fourth day , the engineer came to the room four times to fix it! That’s when we were upgraded to a suite. The location on the river was good, but this meant it was quite a walk into town, though the shuttle service was good.

It was a little remote, from the beach and tourist areas, but on the plus side that made it nice and quiet

The hotel staff is very accommodating, from check-in to check-out. They even helped us where to get the good pho in Danang and also gave us some tips where to eat good local food in Hoi An. And also, the hotel coffee is the best! I will definitely come back again. Thanks a lot!

Friendly lobby staff with good English, good Wi-Fi and a comfortable room. The GM is also hands-on and quite helpful.

The Vietnamese food in the coffee shop is only average (other than the superb spring rolls) and takes a while to come. The hotel is off the beaten track 1-2km from the tourist spots.

Very friendly staff with good English in the lobby (less so in the restaurants). A comfortable, newly furnished room with a very good mattress and strong A/C helped. Cable TV was fine. Wi-Fi was strong. The breakfast spread is grand and very good. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby evenings and having a drink while people watching. (No one else did this, so we had personal bar service.) The GM wandered around the lobby and personally helped guests: quite an unusual touch.

The location is about 1 km away from anything touristy (e.g. wet markets, restaurants) in a quiet area outside the city center. (This really wasn't a big deal as we enjoy walking and cabs are abundant and cheap.) The Vietnamese dishes in the coffeeshop were mediocre other than the excellent spring rolls (in all varieties).

For a 5-nights stay, we got treated like VIP’s from the moment we checked in to our departure. Staff were friendly without being over-bearing. Great views from our 21st floor river facing suite with amazing day and night views. Suite was surprising large, with 2 toilets, separate AC controls for lounge and bedroom. Access to the Executive lounge for breakfast and evening canapés and drinks. Nepresso compatible machines made the stay complete for my husband.

The highly advertised Seafood BBQ buffet on Friday evening was a bit underwhelmed. Quality of food was average - but understandable considering the cost.

The check in and check out - very time consuming, staff very rude, uncooperative, and not welcoming at all - they have got to understand that they are in service industry so the hardware is important (thats is the building location etc) but the software - the people who attend you, the kind of service they render, how they make you feel in a hotel room away from the comfort of their homes matters the most - the certainly can do with some training I this area - especially the front desk staff - no smile, no welcome as if guests are burden for them! Not coming again / neither suggesting to anyone!

Very good breakfast with best quality of ham, butter and cheese. I tried Steak in the restaurant that was nicely cooked. Gym is also very good. City View from our room towards Dragon Bridge and river was awesome.

Nothing to dislike.

After checking in my lugged was left in lobby for over half an hour as they forgot to bring it to my room ???????????Order a chicken club sandwich Started to enjoy but NO CHICKEN ??? in the sandwichSomeone in the kitchen forgot to put it in the sandwich Bell Boy stuck his nose at reception area while I was checking out
