The staff went out of their way to be warm and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and large and VERY well air conditioned.

Great place to stay if visiting Phong Nha although a car is needed. The rooms restaurant and in particular the view of the lake are great.

Some of the loveliest staff we’ve met on our travels. Comfy beds. Gorgeous views over the lake. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, relaxing and decent food. They also arranged a driver to take us to 2 caves, and transfers between Dong Hoi - Phong Nha. You’ll need to take a driver (or rent motorbike) to get into Phong Nha town, but we ended up relaxing at the hotel mostly as it has everything you need. Thanks for a lovely stay Dzung, Hanna and staff!

The staff were wonderful. In particular one lady, sorry we didn't get her name but she spoke both French and English and was very helpful our whole stay. We can't wait to come back. Lots of activities from kayaking, swimming and biking.

Location was very close to Phong Nha caves which we wanted to visit.I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel's tranquil and beautiful views We were greeted warmly and were given the room early although the check in was in afternoon. Food was exceptionally good and the the cocktails were amazing.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a villa at this property. The resort is situated beside a lake, in a setting exuding calm and serenity. Spacious rooms and a great restaurant with a delicious variety of both Western and Asian options. The staff are very friendly and more than accommodating. A wonderful stay.

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was basic, but dinner menu was fine if maybe slightly expensive.

Serene location, friendly staff, comfortable quiet sleep in a beautiful spot. Close to the duck stop. Nice clean room and good shower.

Facilities were a bit outdated, and we couldn’t find the spa or sauna. The weather couldn’t be helped but we felt it hindered what we could do there. A little remote so hard to get a graab and the hotel taxi is pricey.

The staff were good and tried to help with any problems.

Lovely rooms, great sauna and pool just a shame the weather was so miserable. But we still enjoyed the free kayaks and lake as well as a chilly dip in the pool! Lovely anniversary. The staff were so so kind and helpful

Hard to think of a better location with a lake coming right up to the balconies of the rooms .the rooms ( I tried two) were large and airy . The food was really very good and clearly taken seriously by the owner who was there when I stayed and was very friendly which would account for her charming staff. I took a bike and had a day cycling slooaround the surrounding countryside and river . Strongly recommend

Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights in a villa. In summary, Phong Nha Lake House Resort is one of the best hotels we have stayed in.- The staff at the front desk, restaurant and house keeping are great. - The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows are also very comfortable.- The scenery is amazing. It feels like you have your own private lake.- Wifi has good connection speed. - Breakfast is ok. The restaurant offers a good variaty of local and western food. The prices are quite reasonable. - My wife had massage in the spa center on time and she was happy about it. The price of the massage was also reasonable. - The hotel is a bit far from the Phong Nha town. You need to ride a bike, call a taxi or use Grab. The location may be a problem if you are looking for an accomodation in the town. Being by a beautiful lake, the location was just perfect for us.

The only thing that could be better was the hot water in the shower. After a while, the water started to cool down.

In the rooms it was very cold at night. Some facilities (second pool) could be decorated/maintained a bit better. Was a little bit abandoned, but this probably because it was not yet summer time yet.

We loved everything about our stay here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, helped us with an early check-in, transfer from the bus, and cave tours.Our room was perfect, the beautiful outdoor shower and bath and amazing view across the lake were highlights.

Great location and rooms. Very roomy and relaxing. Tours and taxi oraganised by hotle when needed. Good location to see the surrounding area.

Restaurant food was really bad and quite expensive.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and kind - they are happy to help. Laundry is by the kilo 80 000VND per kg. The breakfast is a good selection and we enjoyed a few meals there - the mango salad and the chicken salad were delicious!

The hotel is quite a distance from Phone Nha Town (which we were aware of when booking) so you have to organise transport if you want to go there.
