Hotel Diament Zabrze - Gliwice

The hotel is really nice and the persons working there are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked rooms which were upgraded for free due to the party going on at that day in the hotel. That was much appreciated. Please also try the hotel restaurant, really amazing food, you will remain pleasantly impressed! Overall I have only very positive impressions and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff was very nice, professional and helpful. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious, so were dinners. Rooms were really clean.

Room was stinky, double bed has passed its time a long time ago, bathroom was to tiny. Pillows and duvet low quality.

The front desk staff was inexperienced, and clearly lost.The room furniture was old and worn, the view from the window was horrible (vent shafts). The room was very hot with no AC. The cuttlery was dirty on the breakfast, and the food was mediocre at best.

Nice hotel, nice tiny room.

We did not have a fridge in the room, whilst others in the 4-star hotel section had the fridge, but not all of them worked. Even though we emailed upfront that we will need gluten-free food in the restaurant, they had only 1 option to choose (tatar beefsteak) but they ran out of gluten-free bread. We chose to eat what we brought, but it took more than half an hour to get it heated :(. The restaurant wasn't prepared for so many people to arrive for sure.

First time see so expensive breakfast in Poland - 15 eur/person. Parking 10 eur.

Location for travelers to or from Czech is good. Breakfest was reasonable well.

If you are arriving slightly after midnight, be ready to spend 20min waiting while system is restarting (note: we arrived and it was on going, so really do not know how long it takes). Even though my payment was guaranteed with card on booking, but still needed to wait with kids, instaed of giving a keys. How it was handled was not nice as there was no flexibility on process. Just stand and wait when restarting will be over although they had all the information on hands. It was just pure process. In batroom no light buld changed.Towel rig was not working as well it was with so much dust.

Great hotel!! Clean, nice, great staff. Awesome breakfast.

Overall good experience. Nice rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. On the other hand, very few other attractions outside of hotel. Good choice for shorter stay, not so much to do for longer time.

Shower was not entirely functional. Broken glass bottles in the parking lot... There is room for improvement.

Check in procedure was too long, 1 person only. Hotel itself is quite nice, but the room size was super small, and the bed mattrace thin, hard and old. Opposite my room were drunken guys screaming and shouting till 2am, no wall insulation, no sleep.

No free power outlet in the room: it was needed to unplug some appliance to be able to use one.

It was clean and quiet, room big enough for two people for a short stay, all the necessities in the room were present and appreciated (kettle, etc)

Well, additional fee for the parking; because of the location I guess visiting without a car would be too complicated; ladies in the reception were not too pleasant (but correct). Overall my impression was that, it's ok to stay for one/two nights, but not longer.

Very nice young and helpfull staff. Breakfast was perfect even the nice cheese and milk products. The restaurant have a simple but good and fresh menu and I appreciated that there was Polish beer on tap. The hotel is clean and have wide range of services and as its location is 15 minutes from Katowice, Diament can be a competitive and cheaper option opposite with the big and more expensive hotels at Katowice.

I had to pay extra cost for the airconditioned room :(
