ibis Katowice Zabrze

Excellent location with parking. Very clean and comfortable hotel and staff (Dagmara) was very friendly and sorted a brilliant takeaway breakfast for our early start! The hotel is in the centre of Zabrze with shops around, McDonalds, shopping centre and public transport. Very highly recommended!

Nothing!

Free public parking, location, firm mattress

A bit older furniture, low room temperature

Frustrating

Locked out of room twice because of faulty card key system. Don’t rely on recommended local taxi firm. (Golden). They are unreliable. Use online service like Bolt that are locally.

Good location. Trams and busses and shopping mall are close. It was clean. Quiet area.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Close to everywhere do great location

The hotel needs some TLC very outdated and very strong small of mould & musty definitely needs some remodeling

Friendly staff, easy access to the city centre, excellent beer. A hotel where l always return with smile.

Nothing. All good

Good location, good restaurant nice personnel, very good breakfast

WiFi needs improvement.

Very good food in restaurant, very nice b-fast and super friendly staff

Restaurant and food were exceptional. Restaurant, reception and bar area are very modern.

Rooms are very outdated and are in need of modernisation - they’re a 1990s throwback and smell of smoke. Flooring in room was dirty and stained. Downstairs modern feel doesn’t reflect the rest of the hotel. Some staff members were very miserable and not very happy! A smile goes a long way!

food. excellent menu. very well prepared.

Very bad bed. Bed linen was shorter than the bed. Pillows very uncomfortable and the extra child bed was terrible to sleep in.

Booked in same day. Reception staff were excellent. Hotel was easy to find and some free parking was available.Breakfast was good and plentiful. Aldi right next door and petrol station on same block.Road links were very good.

Parking was limited, getting back late after concert.

Just Uninhabitable. Avoid.

Defective air conditioning system (which was the only reason it was booked) as well as faulty toilet flushing system. Switched rooms had the same issue with the AC. Blowing air in an utterly weak fashion with what was basically hot air in the middle of the summer, both rooms. Was suggested to move to another room, a third one (imagine trying to enjoy your vacations and need to pack all your already laid out things for a second time due to their unprofessionalism) in hopes of finding a proper room as it should have been in the first place. Imagine being welcomed by pieces of feces in the toilet from the previous customer and being unable to use the toilet normally. Just uninhabitable. Personally have never stayed at a worse place than this. Now they are ignoring the request for the compensation I am entitled to after multiple requests. They don’t consider it important to let the customer know prior to their arrival about the issues. Also don’t expect to get a discounted price for the overpriced breakfast as you are treated as a stranger and not a guest. If you want to stay at a hotel that doesn’t provide the services paid for then you have found it. Affected my sleep, my plans and consequently the quality of my vacations. Photos exist to prove the above claims.

Breakfast was rich, and tasteful. Price I think should be a bit lower. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful, even those who couldn't speak english did their best to please us.

Location, facilities.

Staff was fine but not superb, some facilities look 90ish.

- Rather clean room- Decent breakfast

- Our room smelled of cigarettes which we didn't notice at once as we left it right after check-in and later ecided not to make a fuss for a one-night stay- The water pressure in the shower was really weak
