Scent Of Sukhothai Resort

The location is great. We lucked out because we walked to the historical area & found a festival. The next day we rented 2 bikes for 100 baht and toured the area. This hotel had Thai families staying that were fun to meet. Breakfast was great!

They know enough English to do their jobs, such as welcoming us, & helping us find a place to eat, but weren’t quite fluent enough to explain what the festival was all about.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel room was quite nice and clean, with the exception of some critters in the room. The location is quite close to the historical park. It also rents out bicycles, which made it easy to get around.

This resort is an oasis just blocks from the Main Street in old Sukhothai. Rooms and balcony are very nice. Pool was great to cool off in. The staff keep everything very clean and all is well maintained. Breakfast was delicious! Rent a bike to tour the historical park and surrounding ruins.

Quiet environment, close to the old town. However, it is recommended to have a car for transportation.

A bit far from the temples, but it also makes it quiet, and if you don't mind walking a bit or going by bicycle, it's not a problem at all. You can easily find the place, also when it gets dark.

During check-in, the staff kindly explained the nearby tourist attractions and were always willing to help with any requests, which I really appreciated. The resort’s facilities exceeded my expectations, and I also liked the daily room cleaning service. The breakfast menu was diverse, and the resort’s location was convenient, being close to historical sites and the night market.

The biggest downside was the extremely slow Wi-Fi. Having spent over a month in Thailand, this place definitely had the slowest internet I’ve experienced. It would be great if they could install more Wi-Fi access points throughout the property.

Room very clean and well appointed. Large size and good facilities - shower tea making etc.All rooms have a balcony/ sitting area overlooking garden and pool. pool clean, not too much chlorine and a good size to swim. Nice gardens . C lose to good restaurants and an easy walk to Historical park ( around 15 minutes). Hotel rents good enough bikes for 50 baht for 24 hours. Breakfast was good enough for a few days as only small changes daily but reasonable mix of Thai and western options.

Nothing really - staff facilities , cleanliness food all god and overall very good value for money. Would recommend.Quiet off main road location.

Big rooms set around a lovely garden and pool

Absolutely charming location. Wonderful staff. Clean and quaint. The porch set up for enjoying a morning coffee was fabulous with the view of the grounds and the bird song. We loved being able to rent bikes from the hotel and goto Sukhothai Historical Park.

Good location in the old town. Not far from main attractions and some restaurants. Comfy room and facilities. Good breakfast. Good bike hire. Good pool. Lovely staff.

During the day there is no cool tap water. It is way too hot. It does cool down overnight but heats up again from the sun next day.

Location was good, big and spacious rooms.

Breakfast was poor and pillows are not comfortable at all.

Beautiful large pool. Large private porch on the upper level overlooking the property. Nice open dining room and good breakfast available. Bikes available on-site for rental when touring this area. Excellent restaurant within 5 minute walk.

Great location off the main road, but easy to bike everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff.

We liked everything! The hotel is beautiful with attractive buildings, large, airy neutrally-decorated rooms with good quality furniture, and the gardens and swimming pool are well-kept. The beds were comfy, the AC worked well, the bathroom is a generous size, clean with good shower pressure. Breakfast was buffet-style and included in the price. There is a good selection of Thai & Western options and the setting next to the garden is very pleasant. Staff are courteous and friendly and can help with transportation queries, booking tuk-tuks to the historical park etc. Overall we had a great stay here and think Scent of Sukhothai is great value.

We could rent bikes there, which was very useful. The hotel was well located, and the staff was very nice.

In our room, the shower wasn’t easy to use, as it wasn’t well fixed.

Helpful friendly staff. Large room, nice bathroom, very clean. Nice pool.

Maybe some wooden pool sun loungers could be updated.

Breakfast was better than expected and location was ok.

Lack of restaurant for lunch or evening meals. Not as welcoming as anywhere else we have stayed in Thailand. For instance, signs in the room threatening a charge of BHT 2000 if a lamp was broken, and other warning signs of penalty charges for breakages. Amount of tea and coffee in room limited to 2 sachets of each, and no sugar provided.

It was nice to have a pool on site after a hot day

The bed was too hard in room C3, we could not get a good nights sleep. No in room safe.
