    • Older “Thai Style” hotel….relaxing, clean and friendlyKhun Fang was a sweetheart…..
    • Friendly staff who tried to accommodate our complaints about the misleading photographs on the booking sites by offering free breakfast.
    • Very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful garden, also very nice decoration. Because the bathtub was out of order we got a free Thai massage. There was a thubnerstorm which caused that the pool was temporarily out of order for maintenance, which is normal in these cases. The staff did all to make sure the kids could swim later in the afternoon. Some elements are a bit outdated or can use some new lick of paint but overall still very nice place. Breakfast was ok with really nice Thai options but some of the juices seemed to be not drinkable anymore. The staff recommends a restaurant close by which offers excellent food, free Tuktuk service to bring you there.

    Cons -

    • The door to the room ‘stuck’ a little….but no big deal
    • The property was likely quite attractive when it was new, but it has fallen into disrepair. It appears that they do very little maintenance, which makes the place rather depressing. All of the woodwork is faded and the walls desperately need a coat of paint. There were many small black flies in the bathroom.
    • Some elements need some maintenance, few breakfast items seemed not freshly made.

Great staff, very nicely decorated resort and very good situation. They offered us bikes which was so convenient to visit the historical park. Very good value for money

    Everything was great

Location , construction, ponds and fish, swimming pool

Welcoming, bad wi-fi in the room

The staff are really lovely here, very endearing and charming. The place as a whole had a unique character. The free bikes are ideal for getting around the all the local sites of interest.

The shower was a bit temperamental and the place is a little tired in places.

It was very scenic, inside and outside the room. Good breakfast. Best thing we’re the bicycles you could use to cycle round the ruins.

Beautiful rooms and reception foyer. Love the gardens and mini water lakes. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Great location.

    Location, cleanliness and comfort.

It was overrated and didn't deserve a 4-star hotel. The staff didn't let us check in early while the resort seemed to be so empty. We would much appreciate it if they could accommodate us, but they didn't. That was okay. Then, they told us the bathtub was out of order - that was fine as long as the shower worked. We found out later that there was not even hot water. No vanity set in a bathroom. They only gave us liquid soap and shampoo. This should not be a standard for a 4-star hotel. It's just not worth the price I paid for.

Water not consistently, Smell in bathtub

Great location not far from the old city. Located along a quiet road. Beautifully decorated. Staff was friendly and quite professional.

Desperately in need of deep cleaning and refurbishment. There were moth larvae everywhere, one often could not tell if it was moths or mosquitos flying in the room. One of the bathrooms smelled perpetually of sewage especially in the night. Breakfast could be better. It is a pity that the hotel has fallen into such disrepair. We paid more than 20,000Bht for a family connecting room for 4 nights, which is seriously overpriced for Sukhothai and especially for the standard of the hotel. I agree that the staff deserve a better property to run.

Close to the historical park, central town and restaurants. Reasonable size swimming pool.

Lack of atmosphere. Apart from breakfast, no restaurant. The bathroom was a bit old in need of a refurbishment.

The resort is located very close to the historical park. You could walk there but beware of stray dogs. They’re unpredictable and can be aggressive. The resort is decorated beautifully and stylishly especially the garden. The breakfast is alright but didn’t that much selection.

We could see that the resort used to be in good conditions but is not well maintained. We booked the room with the bathtub but it didn’t work. The sealing was not done properly so the water kept running out of the tub. The sealing and paints elsewhere were also poorly maintained. There were even spider webs at various corners. If the place was currently under maintenance, they should have offered the refurbished room. Also, no one offered to help us with the luggage when we arrived considered that the resort had steps here and there. The worst of our experience was when there was electricity shortage two times in one night. The first one was 10 minutes long and the second one was 2 hours long. We understood that the shortage was unforeseeable since it affected the whole historical park area but the resort could have dealt with that better. No staff informed us at all of what’s going on or how long the shortage would be. When we came out of the room to check if anyone was at the lobby, no one was there. After that I sent a text message to ask what’s happening. I didn’t get any response until the electricity went back. They told me that some of the staff were there but I just didn’t see them. That led me think why no one tried to communicate with us about the shortage. I’d have overlooked the out of order bathtub and run down facilities but neglecting the guests during the shortage like that was unacceptable.

We loved the look, the vibe and and comfiness of our room (Triple Room with balcony). The private deck was a pleasant bonus! We enjoyed hanging out there and watching the fish in the pond. Very relaxing! The hotel staff were pleasant & courteous. Mr. Wattana of Front Desk was very warm, friendly and helpful. He even recommended to use the free bicycles of the resort and to try some nearby restaurant and attractions. We enjoyed the recommended weekend Sukhothai Street Market. Definitely going back next year for the Loi Krathong Festival!

The plants in the garden were well-maintained but the grounds and the pond could've been cleaned better. Lots of fallen dried leaves were left in the pond. I understand that it was rainy season though. It's a good thing that the swimming pool was kept clean.

Room a bit old and not much maintenance, shower floor drain not working and and room a bit not clean.

Outside walk way a bit slippery and area not much clean

Very nice hotel with a very good design. The most helpful staff. They organized everything also tour guide and did not add a lot of commissions as others do.

The interior design and architecture The proximity to historical parc The comfort and the good price

The fact the spa wasn’t available anymore

    7GobbunPosted on: 1-27-2024

Nice Fundament to stat with in term of decoration and style. Nice to provide free bicycles for the exploration of the historical park near by.

A bit of renovation and renew on equipment would make this place perfect.

    10ElizabethPosted on: 1-10-2024

Quiet, charming hotel. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff was helpful and gracious. They helped us arrange a driver for some sightseeing. We stayed at this resort over the New Year's holiday. It was easy to walk back and forth from the hotel to the historic park. The bicycles were in rough shape and could use some maintenance or replacement. Our room was spacious and pretty.

    Old bicycles!

Good location for Historical Park.Amiable manager, keen to please

Property seems in need of refurbishment. It’s tired and a bit neglected. The room had only one chair and poor lighting. Good bathroom. It is seriously overpriced.
