Hotel Loy Chiang Mai - Adult Only

Hotel Loy was nothing short of amazing! The hotel is beautiful in an awesome location. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Our room was outstanding especially with the huge tub on the back patio. But what made it the best was the staff! We LOVED everyone there! Would ? recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying here when we come back again!!

The room is clean with very friendly staff. I like the breakfast , it's a la carte but with good portion and tasty. Near old city , not with crowded neighbourhood so you can have good rest.

The sound proof not so super...one of the day can hear my neighbour taking loudly.

Bed is comfy. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very nice.

The rooms are spacious and clean. WiFi was high-speed and consistent. The pool is gorgeous and picturesque. The staff are wonderfully friendly and breakfast with selection of 2 items made to order was brilliant. Super close walk to Chiang Mai Old Town.

The gym is on the smaller side, though not many guests use it. Loi Kroh Road which is the main street near the hotel is not the nicest.

Beautifully designed property with exceptional service. Spacious rooms, quiet yet quiet and an easy walk to the city centre. Wonderful staff.

First class service - the staff is so welcoming! The breakfast is excellent, both with Thai and other choices which is a la carte. Our room, which was a Deluxe Double, was very large and with a very nice seating area. The entire hotel is very tastefully renovated. Location is good, on a quiet side street not far from everything, and just outside of the Old Town, but between the Old Town and the daily night market.

It's a bit pricey but it's worth it!

Great location, and lovely staff. The rooms were really nice and bed comfortable.

No hot water in shower. If we wanted lukewarm water it was a tiny drizzle. Only cold had pressure and can't shower in cold water for a 3 night stay. We brought the issue up to staff repeatedly but we're told every room is the same.

The hotel had an inviting feel as you walk in. The rooms had a modern Japanese design which was relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. This place was always clean and felt fresh. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with booking activities, food recommendations and transport. We always looked forward to our welcome back drinks and a chat with Zen.

Nice hotel in the centre. Our room, with a view of the pool, was quiet and comfortable. We were allowed to leave our suitcases at the hotel for a week during a round trip. Special thanks to Khun Kate who always looked after us during breakfast. We will come back.

Water temperature of the pool is rather chilly.

Clean room and clear modern design with full room accessories.

Location is hard to access without private vehicle. Only 4 parking lot available which may not be adequate in Holidays. No restaurant except for breakfast. Compare to other City hotel in Chiangmai, the room rate may be a little more expensive but lack some facilities.

Design was really nice and fresh. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was really good for access to lots of chaing mai. The pool was really nice but we didn’t have time to have a swim.

Breakfast - having to bring a token was a bit annoying instead of giving your room number. Shower water pressure was pretty poor. Breakfast selection was great but personally we prefer a buffet style over picking 2 dishes from a set menu.

One day they knocked to clean our room very early. Around 8 am. We said we weren't ready and they didn't clean it that day.

- Our stay becomes memorable because of Sen! He went above and beyond to make us happy. He always checked in with us when we're back at the hotel. His personality is full of character that I saw him treat all the customers with the same respect. Sen is a big asset of this hotel and that is the reason why we rated this hotel highly. No doubt that he will continue doing so to whomever that crosses path with him. Sen is the true and genuine icon of Thai hospitality. Thank you Sen, and I hope to see you again next time!- Other staff were also friendly and made sure that we're taken care of, from refreshing drinks after a full day exploring to their attentiveness to details e.g., answering our questions about tours or places and helping us with our luggage. - The room's always cleaned everyday. - Location is walking distance to the markets, and the main road is also has 7/11 and restaurants. We tried Chez Marco and it was good. Some of the massage places along the road look dodgy, but nothing to worry about if you care less. - The laundry service at the hotel was very affordable, and it helped us a lot.- We did not use the pool and gym, so could not comment, but the pool looked nice.

- Maintenance of the property should be considered. The bathroom door squeaked everytime you slid it. - Black flooring was not such a good idea as it looked dirty everyday. Unless the concept is to take off your shoes? - Power plug was not in each of the bedside, so it's inconvenient when you wanted to charge your phone.- No mirror in the bedroom. It's only in the bathroom and it's time consuming when you're travelling with friends as you need to wait for the person in the bathroom to finish before getting ready. - Water pressure of the shower (the main big one) was too weak.

Good breakfast, good size room, oversized outsize bath - good for floating (Loy is Thai for float) and zoning out. Location good. Excellent vegan restaurant around the corner. My receptionist's English was excellent and was very helpful.

Relies a lot on the attentiveness of the staff to attract clients with money. Room had narrow window to pool area. Blind would not cover bottom three feet causing potential privacy issues

The location was close to everything, breakfast was delicious with many options, and the staff is the best, we felt like we were at home, they made sure that we were comfortable, and gave us an iconic experience! We will come back!

I won't change anything! We were in three hotels somewhere else before this one, and Hotel Loy Chiang Mai was the best for value, quality, amenities, and safety.

Great location, clean hotel, impeccable service especially from Zen.

The staff were lovely and super friendly. Zen was amazing he went out of his way to make us happy. Pool was very nice and in a relaxing atmosphere. Shampoo and conditioner were really good. Bedroom large and well decorated.
