Villa Lantara Chiangmai

The large balcony was nice & we watched the Flower Parade from it. Large room and nice bathroom. Very clean. Very small hotel & great staff. Very walkable around area.

No elevators so be prepared.

No window in that price range is a no-no. No elevator.

The staff were exceptional, super friendly and welcoming. The property is of a smaller scale but well designed and clean. It's a short walk to the Chiang Mai market and the weekend walking street. There is parking in front of the property which is great if you bring a car. Note that the property is four levels, request a lower floor for elderly guest.

Excellent hotel on fantastic location little bit dated but everything was working well, staff very good, breakfast well cooked and plenty of it.

The room was big, clean and nice.

There is no lift which is unpractical with luggage and unmanageable with low mobility. The worst is however te traffic day and night. I could not sleep even with earplugs and changed hotel after one night.

Very clean, beautiful architecture. The staff were friendly and they even stayed late so I could check in in-person when my flight got in at 11pm.

The fitness center was rather lacking, but honestly iwasn’t there to work out anyways.

The gym is pointless unless you actually have some weights in there it can’t be classed as a gym. Really big let down. But found a great gym close by.

Stayed there in Dec 2024. When I booked this room I saw 2 small windows in the photos. Didn't think that those would not open. Hence no ventilation in the room and had to leave the room door open as soon as we woke up.

Great location by the chiang mai gate market and food market. Easily walkable to most of the old city. Nice staff and spacious room.

The location is very good. Rooms are big.

No wifi in my room. 4th floor. No lift (only stairs) Very noisy (and dirty) traffic. "Overpriced" for a 2 star hotel.

No windows in the room to get natural light, needs to be clearer on the booking if the room has natural light or not as it made an impact on my stay.
