Clean, helpful staff.

Location wasn’t as great as some other places. This was listed as one of the best places to stay but I liked our second location way better. Breakfast wasn’t great. Didn’t really like it.

What a cute boutique hotel in Chiang Mai! It was small but super homey! The rooms were amazing and we did learn that we need to keep the bathroom door closed in order to let the AC do its magic. We didn’t have their breakfast but they had a little tea, juice, coffee station with some snacks outside daily!!

Very kind, gracious and helpful staff. The location is tucked away on a very quiet street. Safe area only a couple blocks to restaurants, and several places of interest. In center of old town we walked everywhere. Very complete breakfast. After 8 days still had plenty of choices and variety

The breakfast was great, so was the location! Staff was wonderful & bonus points for the laundry service by kg (cheaper than the per piece dry cleaning offered by housekeeping). While we could have gone to laundromat short walk away, this allowed us to go to an excursion while it was taken care of at a reasonable price & Laundry was done same day! Room was great and spacious, although I will never understand the open shower concept b/c water gets everywhere.

Property was smaller than appears in photos which didn't affect our stay - weather wasn't good enough to use the pool anyways & given that we are on a 6-week vacation, I think the price per room was a little high for this property and experience. Overall very happy with our stay & would recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Great location! Walking distance to multiple temples and very close to the Sunday Walking Street Market. Breakfast was great!

The bed is so comfortable! The pool is clean and a good size. There’s not many chairs by the pool but we didn’t have any issues with that. The staff were very friendly and room service was quiet and efficient. Very good location in the old city, would stay again.

The property was beautiful. The room and bed were perfect; both were comfortable and roomy. The best part however was the staff. Everyone there from security to the front desk to the breakfast staff went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The staff alone would have earned this hotel 5 stars they were that good. So if you're looking for a great place to stay in the Old City, this one should be at the top of your list.

There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay at El Barrio Lanna.

The staff is nice. I feel comfortable with them.The room is clean.The bed is good. I'm sleeping well when I stay here.

The location is bad. You can not find any store close to the hotel.Low flow of the shower. You need to spend more time in a shower.The WIFI is terrible. It is unstable. You can not watch YouTube smoothly.

Maybe that hallways weren’t air conditioned but they are open to the outside which is quite typical for Thailand.

Beautiful and clean room. The lady who clean the room did fantastic job and she was always pleasant and smiling. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.

We arrived at 10am and told to we can only check in at 2pm even though some family were checking out. There was no where to sit and wait except for a little reception area. We had 4 pieces of luggage with us!. We expected at least to be told the room will be ready in 1 or 1.5 hours. We ended up walking around the streets after a long flight ?. We came back around 11:30 and were surprised to be told the room is now ready and we managed to check in ?. We could have been told that earlier instead of just telling us to come back at 2pm. The reception lady was very stern and not very friendly/polite. Was like checking in at a correction facility. Overall arrival experience was not pleasant. Breakfast very limited and the same menu items every day we were there. No mushrooms,beans, Roasted tomatoes, hash browns etc. very much Thai menu with rice of steam cabbage and veggies. No English TV channels except Singapore channel. Other listed TV channels on the printed list were not there. When we asked reception they suggested to use YouTube!No pressure in the shower spray. However the water in the sink was good pressure. The whole entrance,lobby/reception area is very limited and congested. I suppose it is to be expected for a boutique hotel.

Good service. Plenty of fresh drinking water daily. Good breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. No alcohol sold at the property, but you can buy at 7/11 and drink at the pool.

Neighborhood is not very lively. Limited number of sun-beds at the pool.

Breakfast and breakfast servers. Birthday decoration is expensive but pretty.it was worth it.

Pool hours. People come in late from sightseeing, looking forward to use the pool and it is close. Rooms are very dark.

We loved our room from the cleanliness to the comfort of it.

The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. I expected some tasty eggs but it wasn't. Even the coffee and tea machines need some upgrades. But the effort to make the food spread appealing is much appreciated.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and even spacious (but we did opt for the bigger rooms). We loved the pool on those hot afternoons! We reserved the family room but did not end up using the outside garden too much. We just congregated at the pool. Morning breakfast was fantastic! Loved the afternoon tea/coffee set up as well.

Can’t think of anything. The check in desk does not stay open all night like the bigger hotels but that did not impact us in any way.
